Silence and solitude is a must in todays never stopping lifestyle. Couple of great reads and put it to practice. Read invitation to silence and solitude. This book is very eye opening on how to practice silence and solitude.

@ it was a book that as I was reading really brought out the things I didn’t realize were causing me anxiety and spent a lot of time crying as I was reading and realizing what I need to do to care for me to be a better me. I felt it was really healing for me to work thru my own struggles that lead to similar symptoms that you experienced.

Traveling is fun but gives me anxiety. Greatest fear is getting hurt or sick far from home…

Something I have observed with professional therapist they are trying to help people while they themselves are not well mentally and can really mislead people.sadly many of them get into therapy because they couldn’t find help with a professional and feel they can do better, but have so much unresolved issues themselves and project it on their patients. So be careful on who your therapist is and really take their advice with discernment.

@@timnatpodcast I share because I have seen therapists destroy relationships of kids and parents because they themselves had their own unresolved issues with their parents that they could not forgive and move past so their advice was to cut all family ties and isolation, which did more damage and broke up a lot of trust in families. I am not against therapy but I do recommend to approach it with caution. The same therapist could be having a lot of struggles and they don’t seek help themselves as they feel they can fix themselves, but often it’s opposite.

I feel like you need a break from your wife to fully heal and reset. You can tell she overwhelms you, doesn’t even let you finish a sentence because she has so much to say. Here you are talking about your mental health and that traveling triggers your anxiety, she just disregards that and keeps talking about Puerto Rico/New Your, and how big of a compromise she had to make to cancel your trip after Italy… maybe send her on a trip by herself and take a breather 😮‍💨

🤣🤣Not at all! I love this about her! Don’t forget that I fell in love with her for her energy. I don’t think alienating would be a smart step.. at least for me. Maybe we just needed to talk it out on the camera!
