    Erm...
    nah
I have trich, I have a job that I like which is also stressful. But I’m good at what I do and I don’t want to wash cars for a living in order to have less stress.
I pull my hair when I’m anxious or tired.
I’ve gotten rid of all the bad people in my life.
I go to gym 3-4 times a week
I still pull my hair compulsively
I was raised by narcissists so I have anxiety. The root issue is my childhood and how my brain developed in that environment

It sounds like you're doing a lot of good things with your life, like being sure to exercise as often as you do. But trust that to the extent hair-pulling is still present for you, it can mean only one thing - SOMETHING about your lifestyle isn't working for you. Now, even if life is difficult, stressful or anxiety-provoking, that still doesn't mean you HAVE to continue pulling your hair (or that you couldn't stop). But I can tell you from experience that until you figure out how you've been organizing your life such that it really isn't working for you, and until you do something to change that, stopping pulling will be a more difficult process than it really has to be.

I’ve stopped pulling for a couple months now. I read a comment from someone who used to pull who said “the reason why you’re still pulling is because you believe that you need it”
I realised that I really did believe that I needed it to cope, I started telling myself “I don’t need this” whenever I got the urge to pull and it really helped
