    Про Alto Uber Fx .. Когда открыл колонку, обнаружил динамик на 50 Вт с импедансом 2 Ом, и на 10 Вт с сопротивлением 2 Ом, если заявлено 100 Вт, можно ли в него поставить динамики на 4 Ом. ??? громкость не докручивал на четверть до полной мощности, еще есть запас.

    Hey there! Great video... thinking about getting the Alto Uber FX and noticed effects are operated by a dial. Does this mean only one effect can be used at one time? I'm asking because I would love to use echo and delay at the same time for karaoke. 🤔 Thanks 😁👍

    Hi, great review. Question: I have a condensor mic that uses phantom power with my preamp. Can I use it straight into the Alto?

    • @rodmichael1994
      @rodmichael1994 Год назад

      You don’t want to use a condenser in a live setting in most cases it will pick up all the ambient noise as well as feedback very easily unless it is turned down very low , that is why condenser mics are for studios and recording. But also to answer your question no there is no phantom power on the UBER FX or PA he would have said it also but you can run it through your mixer or interface/pre-amp that has phatom power or DAW which also has it obviously. But yeah hope that helps i know this is old comment but just wanted to inform, hope ur doing well :)

    I’m seriously considering buying the FX model and wasn’t sure about this brand. I saw the Bose PA speaker system ($499.00) and did not want to spend more than $300.00; because I am a beginning vocalist and want to spend wisely!👌
    What is your overall opinion of the Alto brand? Where does it rank compared to the Bose S1 Pro speaker?
    Thank you.

      Regina I have Alto speakers over 4 years. Great sound, great price and reliability. I also own and use a Bose S1 Pro for acoustic and vocals, ( only ok vocalist) when I play Polynesian shows. You won’t go wrong with Bose S1 Pro or Alto. I sometimes use my Bose S1 with a 12” subwoofer as a mini line array for house parties .

    Good review. I am a sax player who play off tracks with covid being present people are seeking live performance for a very small group of people sometimes 2 to 10 people. Because the client only has only a few guest they think the performance price should be LOW, but we know the effort is still the same for two or two hundred especially if you do not have small, light portable equipment, but you still want to get a good professional sound as your reputation relies on it. This review provides confidence in purchasing this item. I have the large LD Maui 28 speaker I use for most gigs, but even though it is a one piece tower speaker like the Bose....it is and relatively heavy. I'll be purchasing this very soon, your video put it over the top and I do not see anything at the same price point with the same options... and with a handle. Come On Man! Thanks Bro.

    • @SP-hu2dt

      Have you already purchased it? I have done some research and i think most rechargeable battery powered pa systems and amps usually run into battery issues and in many regions the battery replacement needs some research to get the suitable battery for the unit and the replacement is cumbersome. Many users have reported battery issues , some even just after a month or so. I am avoiding the rechargeable ones for the time being. Focusing on those running on AA batteries or other type of batteries.
      Does this unit have the same issues as it is also rechargeable ? It has got all the features and power and it's cheap. But it would be of no use if it runs into battery issues.

    • @likemusic61
      @likemusic61 3 года назад

      @@SP-hu2dt Yes I purchased it but had to take it back two days later. The battery never fully charged after being plugged in for two days far as it got was 75% but when I unplugged it to see if the battery would kick on it cut off altogether. It would not power up unless it was plugged in, not to mention inside the box it only had a European plug so that was another trip to the store. I took it back after it would not power up off the battery and I spent a lot more money and bought a Bose S1 Pro $599 so expensive, but it charged within a couple of hours, it only weighs 19 lbs. the bluetooth work with my iPhone, laptop and a little sports MP3 player. I will be using it for the first time this Saturday for a live performance for a group of 10 for private dinner with chef. I'll give you an update then. But this will save me a lot of setup/breakdown time and energy/strength. The sound is of Bose, but the XLR mics inputs are not phantom powered so if you don't have something that is suppling power to your mic you will sound very faint. I have a Shure GLDX wireless module with backpack for my sax but even on 20 +dB you can hardly hear it. I just upgraded the firmware so it is getting up to 40 +dB now that should be ok. I believe if you have a guitar you will be fine and some higher grades mics. This is not so good considering the price, fortunately I play sax and if I have to play without a mic for small crowds people will still be able to hear me just without reverb. My experience leads me to believe none of the cheaper all in one with wheels PA system will work or last that long. The Bose S1 Pro is built very solid and you can buy a Bose S1 Pro backpack for it but it cost $148.00. Got them both from Zzounds on installment plan like most of my very good gear. Never had a problem with Zzounds and I basically have a home studio all from them...unfortunately they don't carry saxophones or.......I'll be in much debt. Thanks for your inquiry.
