It is part of my RUclips Channel entitled My Home Recording Retirement Adventure. This is aimed at helping and encouraging solo musicians to get started with home recording and music production.
Comments and questions are encouraged, as it is my goal to help, and share my experiences of home recording and music production with others, who may be considering a similar venture.
I do not claim to be an expert on this subject, but base my views on two factors:
    1. My personal experience of over 60 years as a musician and as a critical listener to music of many music genres, spanning many years.
    2. My personal experience of producing home recorded music content since my retirement in 2011.
IMPORTANT: I do not write or perform original songs, but rather do covers of the music that I have loved throughout the decades. My purpose is to demonstrate my interpretation and arrangement of a work, making changes as I see fit. Also, this channel is not for commercial gain and I have no intention of monetizing it, and therefore:-

Lovely tone on the guitar - is it going thru a mixcraft vst/amp?

Sorry, I missed this reply. Thank you. Yes, here I was using Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. The guitar is a modified Squire Affinity Strat (with vintage Alnico pickups). This went direct into my Focusrite Solo 3rd gen. and straight to the computer and recorded dry. I then compressed with the TB compressor (stock with Mixcraft) and then used Echoboy VST with the 'pleasant memories' setting.

@@trevsaudio thank you Trev, having just retired, i am just starting to learn and am using mixcraft 10 Pro studio, so your lessons are an inspiration to me, many thanks. A cheeky one perhaps, but would you consider sharing the stems, or mixcraft files with your subscribers, or is that technically not possible?
