Greetings, the BIOS flasher w/ Test clip to flash BIOS and EEPROM chips is an interesting resolve I being clueless such a fix existed. Considering I've been spending endless hours attempting to normalize my corrupt BIOS that invaded my gravity standing sideways.

Hello Satishbhai -- Thanks for a very informative video using CH341A Series Burner Chip 24 EEPROM BIOS Writer -- can you reset the passwd lock after using CH341A -- and then re-flash the BIOS without removing the BIOS chip from the board. Basically, reversing it. Thanks in advance.

Not if you just copy and reflash the same bios but download a clean bios file from manufacturer or edit the bios file which is not easy

I can see that You have the Black version of the board where most of the time it sends 5V to power line instead of the 3,3V that most of the chip required. There should be apply the 3,3V Fix If I am not mistaken.
Nothing needed use Ch341a it’s most common ! There is jumper which when u shift gives 5v and by default it comes with 3.3v set !!
@@Aditya11ttt With all due respect and Your knowledge ... there are some versions that give correct 3.3V output but some give 5V output. According to manual the jumper is used to switch between programming mode and TTL mode on the device. The easiest way is to test the pins with multimeter. My purpose of the comment was not to argue ... just advice to people who got version with 5V output as they are on the market.

Sure u should check !! Always to be on safer side ! If it’s Ch341a original 99.999999999% it will have 3.3v by deafult ! Because we sale 100+ pcs in a year no issues !!

@@Aditya11ttt he just observed that you used the wrong voltage, this programmer is for 3.3v and 5v chips, and has to be used with an adapter for 1.8v chips.
You could have damaged this chip by not using an adapter.

Not sure if I missed something, but I didn't see it reflashed. You just backed up the hex file. What if the hex is currupted, can we just download a bios hex from the Internet and flash it to the cmos?

I have a jumper at pins number 1 and 2 and i think this is for the spi function. Should i use an other combination to set 3.3V?
I know that I am 2 years late, but as I was searching for this I found that it's not causing something because volt can't damage only the current and the current is low soo no problem. And at time the programmer communicates with the chip then it will set it automatically into 3,3v, soo no problem exists.

@@Aditya11ttt The programmer came today and it took me all of 10 minutes to read the chip, backup the existing data to a file, edit the VIN, and burn in the new data. (I used the no suffix version of the chip in the software..."24C128".)

3 EFI files (AfuEfix64, BootIa32, BOOTX64) - each 600KB file size
032 file - 32,000KB file size
NSH File - 1KB

My bios chip is labeled W25Q80DVSIG but the list of detected ic in neopprogrammer are:
1. W25Q80BL
2. W25Q80BV
3. W25Q80JV
Could you please help me identify the right one from the list

My problem now is how to flash this bios because the bin file I downloaded is 32mb and I have found two bios chips(W25Q80DVSIG and FM25Q08).

@@Aditya11ttt You're right there. It's just that in your video the winbond chip was described as 1.8v by the programmer(8:50) so I was surprised. Now, I just checked the spec sheet on that chip and it is 3v. Thanks for this guide. I'm new to ch341a though I've had other experience jtagging and with arduino uno.
