That's interesting you put the DMX at the top! My only gripes with it are that I don't like X Digimon as much, and I wish the screen didn't automatically time out (a gripe I have with many V-Pets). I'm excited that you think the PenC comes 2nd behind that, though, because the DMX line are great devices! Can't wait for when mine finally arrives.

Actually, battery replacement on the Original Color is not that bad and requires simple sodering skills. All you need is to get one with the right specs and keep the board from shorting.
My night mare soldier's will be here next week, viruses and digital mages are very much my vibe. I'm broke enough that I could never collect them all like I did with the Xs A-D, but having my version 5 and this, along with the Digivice to be ordered will be... enough I think

Hey so ive got floramon on my wind guardian and she only starts with 2 conditions hearts an im trying to get veedeamon but humulos says i need to have 3 condition hearts im not sure if this is a error or not but i just thought i mention it
It says you need 3 care mistakes, not effort hearts. Not an error, Floramon and Mushmon are just weird. Check the Legend in the lower left corner of the page for details.

But i still not sure which one to pick lol. The anniversary one of the 1st series looks beautiful, but i like more having more freedom of what evolving into... Do you guys recommend one of this pendulum color or another one?
Man. The roster and addition of album/mistake tracking really make me want this device. But I honestly just don't like the experience of training Pendulums. The entire concept of being a virtual pet feels pretty neutered when level of care stops determining your evo options halfway through the tree, and instead most of your options are just slapping two Digimon together. I don't know why they can't keep natural trees and then also have Jogress options.

I'm also a shift worker and the ones that allow you to "freeze" them are a godsend. Typically only play with it on my days off and while progression is slower because of that I still get to have fun with it. Also have the Vital Bracelet BE and can see where you're coming from tho. EDIT: The one I currently have with a "freeze" mode is the digital monster x and funnily enough it was my first since the originals way back when. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have made the dive into the Vital Bracelet BE or be considering the one in this review.
Hello, can you turn the lights off early to make your digimon nap? If so can you do that to make them sleep through their bedtime like on the version 20th?
They won't nap, so their loss timers will still continue, but they will automatically go to sleep if it reaches their bedtime while the lights are out.
DP really should have either been removed or worked like the original. I just noticed that if you have less than 3 DP and you do a quest level. Your Digimon will keep fighting until the level ends or is defeated. It's a small oversight, and this is a small nitpick
I'm in love with these gadgets - unfortunately the ONLY one I can buy in my country is the Digimon X (which many say is good anyways, but I find the Color and the Pendulum Color very visually appealing...) I don't understand why japanese toy companies are like this... even the "localized releases" are only in the US and only for like every 15th version 😢 and you have to pre-order or pay 100£ or more - for essentially a tamagotchi. I think golfing would be a cheaper hobby 😂 but, oh well...

My only concern is battery, especially upcoming digivice, once the battery dies or malfunctions. Done, hard to get replacement
