Just found your channel recently. It was the how to make cream of anything soup video. I subscribed immediately. You are so resourceful and kind. This helps people save a ton of money on prepackaged stuff and homemade vs factory made is always better. I was so lucky to have a dear mom that always cooked from scratch and I learned from her. I was peeling and cutting veggies and fruits when I was really little (I mean little, like 5 years old, my Mom let me learn how to peel apples, carrots, crack eggs)The kitchen was and is my favorite, happy place to be. You would not believe how good my house smells right now. I roasted a bunch of veggies, low and slow, then put it in a pot to simmer and extract all the goodness into vegetable broth(to make vegetarian gravy later) now my sourdough loaves are in the oven❤. Thank you for reminding me of my Mama, lol, even though you're young enough to be my daughter. I love listening to praise and worship music when I work in the kitchen ❤❤
Just wanted to say, I love your videos! I'm learning tons, and your personality keeps me coming back. I have 11 grandbabies, and these recipes are awesome, and you can stretch most or double most! Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas!!
These look so good and easy. Love all the varieties you can prepare using the basic ingredients. A little food coloring or a few drops of flavoring and wallah many different truffles.
Savory or sweet, we don't care, give us all the Christmas goodies.😅 I am team chocolate and no sprinkles but all of these look so cute. I'll be trying the brownie ones. I usually buy store brand chocolate also or which ever I find on sale. Thanks for sharing.
Have been watching your channel for several weeks now and I love it! You are so down-to-earth. Have made the cream of soup powder and will make these truffles for Christmas. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025!
Your video could not have come at the best time. Your video just popped up on my feed & I am SUBSCRIBED. Thank you so much for giving us different truffles than just choco chocolate. This has truly inspired me! Seriously...now that you taught me the basics...I'm thinking of using lady fingers, maybe incorporate espresso powder & cinnamon into the cream cheese to make Tiramisu truffles. God Bless You 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Merry Christmas Tammy !🎅🤶⛄️🦌🎄❤️ Yummy! 😋 I ❤ truffles, I make so too I use Oreo's, and nutter butters. I diffently going to make the snickerdoddle. You need your own cookie show and a cookbook! Thanks for sharing. 😊❤Nancy (Instead of oil I use a teaspoon of criso)
Okay, was busy the past few days so I need to catch up here before catching up on your second channel, but man do these look awesome! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Keep up the amazing work!
I will be msking them for Christmas. So easy. Thanks. For the Grich one you could just throw some green food coloring into the white chocolate. That is easier then looking for green chocolate
Awesome! You can do the food coloring, but sometimes it will cause the chocolate to seize if you don’t do it correctly with the right food coloring, so green wafers always work for me lol😁
There goes my diet again! LOL I make similar truffles using a chocolate coated sandwich cookie we have here called Timtams. They have a milk choc coating on the outside, chocolate cookies and a chocolate creme filling in the middle. If you can ever get your hands on some of those, turn them into truffles with the cream cheese. SO DELICIOUS! If international postage wasn't so downright disrespectful I'd offer to send you some lol
So cute and easy! Now, I do taste a difference in chocolate but that’s just me. But I’m not gonna say no if I’m given a cute truffle no matter what chocolate is used! 😂 It only means I’d probably buy the other kind if I’m making them. Thanks for sharing!!
I'm going to try the Snickerdoodle Truffles, but I'm going to use melted Cinnamon Chips for the coating. (hope they don't end up too cinnamon-y, though I don't really think that's possible) Thanks for sharing these recipes and ideas! (I'm giving these to neighbors, so I may try vanilla or cream cheese frosting instead of the cream cheese since I won't know if they'll have room to store them in the fridge...just to be on the safe side)
Will definitely have to try these! Girl, the minute I heard your voice I knew you were from the South! But until I looked, I had no clue you are in my home state 😮❤ This is only the 2nd video I've seen of yours but I subscribed after seeing the first. Love your channel! ❤️ P. S. never heard of your hometown, but I've been to B. R. & Denham Springs many times. I was born & raised in Lake Arthur.
@@TalesFromAnEmptyNest I lived in CA for many years and just wanted to let you know Ghirardelli is pronounced gare a deli. We used to go to their shops in San Francisco.
Coconut oil is better to use. It will firm up. Will be trying these. You could add peppermint extract to the brownies and sprinkle with crushed candy cane
Thanks! Coconut oil does work great, but I use such a small amount of olive oil, that I never have issues with it firming up. I love the crushed candy cane idea 😁
My son got married in January and they did a cookie bar instead of wedding cake. It was like four of their all time favorite bars/cookies/truffles. HUGE hit. My daughter in law just didn’t want all the fuss that cake brings and we still get so many compliments on how sweet, easy and relaxed the wedding was which allowed everyone to have fun!!

Girl we like what ever you post. I give you a thumbs up before I watch because I know it will be great.
That’s so sweet! Thank you!😁😁
Those all look delicious. I prefer using 2 forks with the chocolate dipping. That plastic fork looked the best 😊👍
Yes! It’s definitely the best for dipping😁
These look so good and easy. Love all the varieties you can prepare using the basic ingredients. A little food coloring or a few drops of flavoring and wallah many different truffles.
Yep! They are so easy to customize!😁
*voila

Lol thanks Trude! I have so many ideas that’s it’s sometimes hard to decide which one I want to do lol😁😁
Mint extract for the Grinch ones would be good ❤
Ohhh that would be good!😁😁
Thank you for sharing this easy but festive candy recipes with us.
You're so welcome!😁
Looks yummy! You can also use chop sticks to dip with , it's amazing how well they work. Happy Holidays.
Yes! Happy holidays to you too!😁😁

Girl, you need a hometown resturant. Or sale your mixes online. You make everything look soooo easy. You are such a great teacher.
Thanks!😁😁

Thanks so much! That's a fantastic idea for the truffles! Let me know how they turn out! Welcome to the family!😁
Yummy, thanks Tammy ! 🧑🎄♥️🎄
You are so welcome! 😁😁
I added a tablespoon of shortening to my milk chocolate chips when I melted them for dipping and it gave the coating a nice smooth, shiny appearance.
Sometimes I add coconut oil, but usually I forget lol😁
Merry Christmas Tammy !🎅🤶⛄️🦌🎄❤️

Thanks for the compliments Nancy! I love your idea of the nutter butters! I’ll have to try those!😁
I don't spend the money on those fancy chocolates either,I use almond bark! ❤Nancy
I’ve used almond bark in recipes too😁
They all look yummy. I love making candy at Christmas. I'll be adding these to my list 👍
Thank you so much! You will love these!😁

coconut oil is best.. it will give a shine to the chocolate
I have some, but the olive oil is just always easy to grab lol😁
So much goodness!! Merry Christmas!!
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you too!😁😁
Thanks for these easy treats. Yummy.
You are so welcome!😁
I'm new to your channel. All the truffles looked so good. Thank you for sharing. Hope you have a Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 😊 ☺️ ❤️ 💗 🎅 🎄

Very unique, I can't wait to make. Great video.

Your best bet would be to use powder or gel colouring. Liquid would thin it out too much and gel might make it seize
These look absolutely yummy!!! So easy to make:) Tfs and God bless:)
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like them.😊
I can’t wait to see more fantastic ideas in 2025! God Bless all Y’all….Hope this coming year is filled with prosperity and good health! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words and Happy New Year to you, too!😁
Woo Hoo 🎉 More Scrumptious Recipes 😋 😍 Got These Saved So I Can Try Them..Thanks For Sharing!!
I’m so glad you liked them! 😁
I used a meat platter fork which worked better than a regular fork, but I like the plastic fork idea. I will try it next time.
I’ve never thought of using a meat platter fork before! I’ll bet that works great too😁

Do ALL the Christmas candy videos! I love no bake.

I love your channel.
Thank you so much!😁😁
How did your homemade vanilla turn out?!
It tastes really good! But…I think I will let them age a little longer before I give them away😁
Yum!!
Thanks!😁😁
My granddaughter is getting married in February next year and she is going to make truffles for the reception. I will pass on the fork trick..thanks.

Congrats to your granddaughter!🎉😁
You can also use chopsticks to move the balls in the chocolate and get them out.
Yes!😁
❤❤❤❤
😁😁
👏👏👏
😁😁
Do you have a recipe that you shared for your brownie mix. We have made several of your mixes and LOVE them.
Thank you! I do have a brownie mix on the channel, but these were from a box lol😁😁
I wonder if we cut up the brownies and then leave them out overnight if they would dry out more??
I’m sure they would. It’s ok if they’re not super dry though😁
❤❤❤
😁😁
