Yes, but as I said elsewhere on this page, this guy does a beautiful addition to the main riffs and soloing notes in Mark Knopfler's original. He is both faithful to the original and bold enough to add some excellent notes to it that are totally in keeping with MK's playing on the song. That's what impresses me the most. He's got some real command and creativity in this.
The smile when you realize you nailed the riff is awesome. Such a good feeling you get a song down like that.
Also, this is probably the best/most accurate cover of the album version I’ve ever seen.

Wow, very impressive. While most people work hard to achieve the sound of Mark Knopfler's original iconic riffs, this does even more than that. What impresses me the most is your improvisations off that main riff, especially in the final outro section of this performance. Some of those notes are in MK's recording and some seem to be your own personal addition to the main riffs from the original. That's where you really shine. And you obviously have fun doing this. Great stuff.

All my respect for one reason that sets you apart from most others who try to cover MK. You either play precisely the original, which in this song is hard enough, or you add something to the song IN A WAY THAT MK COULD PLAY. Probably only you and the leaders of professional cover bands have the talent and hard work to reach this level of similarity with the original performance. Congratulations, it was a pleasure! Wow this is pristine!!! The man's got the claw picking down pat might as well be Knopfler haha and wow what a tone let alone the cover it's self this would be close conder to the hardest tone to emulate I don't think it's ever been more accurately covered. It's frustrating because there's so many poorly depicted versions out there with more views yet the literal best cover I've seen of this is as obscured as it is by the other average ones. Sorry thought I'd spread my frustration on it just good to finally hear the effort put into this song in particular. You're a legend for working out that tone the way U have and just an awesome grasp of the feel of this song 🤌🏻
