- A trip report for the A380 into Christchurch covering the arrival into Dubai and boarding. There is a one hour transit stop in Sydney before carrying on over the Tasman for the 18 hour journey.

Did this aircraft have premium economy? If so, I’m very happy that this aircraft has kept its consoles and cup holders as the newer aircraft’s have them gone

What was the gate for Sydney ? I've heard A380 connects to gate B?

Hey I’m also flying to chc soon via emirates, wanted to know since you’ll de-boarded at Sydney , did you require a transit visa for Australia ?
Not sure sorry. New Zealanders don't, but some countries do if the transit transit stop exceeds a certain number of hours.

Yes, everyone was required to leave the aircraft for an hour
