There are several RE dealerships and service centers in my city. I took delivery of the new Classic 350 on September 16 after selling my 2019 Classic 350, and am absolutely delighted with this machine!
If u want a retro classic with sports character, go with cb350. If u want a true blue retro classic, go with classic 350, and after having ridden both bikes I can say that the comparison has been done very well and explained in an even better manner.✌️
Which bike would you choose? I have been riding 200NS for past 10yrs so I am very bored with it and had planned to buy CB350 today for touring but test rode Meteor & Classic today and really loved the feeling. I haven't test ridden CB350 since closest showroom is 60km but now I have doubts weather CB350 will feel more like 200NS so I should buy Enfield instead.

Dude I test rode meteor and classic today and I loved them a lot. Mainly the feel. Do you think hness is worth taking a test ride? I think h'ness will give me same sporty feel as my 200NS which I don't want anymore.
Thanks for a wonderful and unbiased explanations. I had test ride of both today back to back. Hyness is very light to handle and eager to speed up. RE classic is more matured in feeling and holds a good road grip. I had a feeling that RE classic will take care of you on any type of road while hyness u need to play with. RE classic looks more connected to you and to road. Hyness does not give that feeling but demonstrates a wonderful playing teen. RE classic acts as a big brother of you.
haha absolutely true, can relate to that. In the end, I decided to go with RE Classic (Reborn) Gun Metal Grey and it's totally worth it. The kind of feel RE gives you is unparalleled, it's irreplaceable.
One thing... Nobody talks about the rear view mirrors... Can you please comment on this. After test drives, Felt H'ness mirrors are short and Classic 350 mirrors are more comfortable. Rear View gets much impacted with this.
With the current Classic owners facing issues with the speedometer,inaccurate fuel gauge,noise from the rear brake and front suspension , would you still recommend classic over the CB350 in terms of a reliable bike which would be peaceful to live with?

Haonda is good but without bigwing in your city it is not practical , cause there are many small and big problems in this bike that can not solve by local honda showroom

Sir, I am very confused between honda highness and classic 350. Presently I am using hero honda hunk, now I want 350 cc bike. I drive only 40 km daily in delhi. I came to know about mud guard, rear view mirror and poor seat fixed problem. These problem can be solved aftermarket? In emergency situations honda can be repaired by local mechanics or not ? Big wing showroom is 7 km away from my home. I never go for long rides. Please suggest. Actually classic is very common nowadays

You sound confused, but it's not your fault, because Honda was confused when they launched CB350, so was Bajaj when they launched Dominar. Dominar wasn't successful, CB350 will also not be successful, whatever numbers they are getting now will be wiped off by the new J platform of RE.. and the reason is product positioning.. RE is a heavy, proper retro bike for relaxed cruising, it's planted on the road, has excellent ride comfort, and relaxed with its gears. And then there are sporty bikes like KTM Duke, Ninja 300, TVS RR 310, or a bit less aggressive FZ 25, Honda CBR 250, and hoards of good city bikes in 150 cc category.. now CB350 is not that relaxed bike like RE, and not that sporty like the ones I mentioned.. in terms of looks also it is not as retro like a Classic, nor as sporty like a Duke or RR 310.. it sits somewhere in between, and it is not a good thing for a product.. it tries to please both the market segments, but doesn't fully satisfy either of them.. such confused positioning is the worse thing that can happen to any product, and the sales figures are showing it.
Not every guy wants to go classic or sports bike, some also need something in middle retro bike, where i feel classic 350 and hness 350 are two different type one is retro and other is classic, public think its the same but not. So i feel like RX100 was a retro bike not a sports or or a classic bike now it has a high demand. Same with RD350, so market will not be wiped for this segment it will grow more is what i feel.

Honda is not confused but it's dealing with the confused Indian generation. It's a practical bike which is nimble to deal with city traffic and most refined to cruise on a highway. It has low maintenance and better fuel efficiency compared to its peers. But you are right that it has not worked well. The reason being that it doesn't cater to the audience who spend more time on gym vibrator than on a treadmill And also to wannabe John Abrahams in Dhanush kind of a body.
What is the use of cb350 when it's not available in any Honda showroom. Indians don't live in metropolitan cities only. That's why RE is far far ahead of cb 350
I m an RE user for the last 12 years. Had an RE Electra and now owns an RE classic. But a 2017 model. I recently took a Highness Aniversary Edition. Honestly, both cannot be actually compared. RE is RE... It's a different breed. But Honda is big motorcycle with modern facilities. Naturally Honda's maintenance is low compared to RE. N yes, it's a value for money compared to RE. But they both have different uses n they both excel in where they are actually used. If u r an adventurous person who rides in different terrains n rides peacefully, go for RE. If u r a daily user for city n town uses, go for Highness. It's just my opinion form my experience. Don't take this as a review. Everyone will have different view points.
As compare to re it will not give much resale value as it is new and in India all have craze for bullet bullet but hness is much much better in everything if u want to buy I suggest take hness and if u want to sell after 3,4 years take re

Can you please post a guide on how to maintain 3k to 4k rpm range in the cb350? Ideal way to shift that is. Separate point - I feel the overlap on 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear is slightly less which makes me have to shift frequently. Engine starts knocking on 2nd below 20kph and engine is asking me to shift to 2nd above 20kph on 1st gear
I receny took test drives of cb350 and bullet 350. Few things I would like to share. Bullet 350 ke seat ke bare me mujhe bhi pahale yahi laga tha ki bahot comfortable hai. But agar 100 kg ka admi bike chala raha hai to thodi der baad cushions dhasne lagte hai. Thode hard cushions hi achche hai. Bullet ke cushions shuruvat me achche lagte hai lekin long ride ke wakt achche nahi lagte. Vibrations :- Bullet 350 new version me bhi achche khase vibrations hai. Test ride me, ya naya bike liya tab itna samajh me nahi ayega. Par baad me jab aap daily chalaoge to ye vibrations thode pareshan karne lagte hai. Tractor pe baithne jaisa feel ata hai. Performance :- bullet 350 ka gearing achcha hai. City me chalane ke liye badhiya hai. Cb350 ka tall gearing bhi koi bahot bada problem nahi hai. Aapko adat ho jaegi. But bhai performance CB350 me hi hai. Bullet to bas kuch bada chalane ka feeling deta hai. Cb350 me asali maja hai. Ye bike Honda wale big wing ki jagah agar red wing me bechna chalu kar denge to bhai sach me bullet ke liye mushkil ho jaega.
Yes i own a hness,you are true classic is not value for money,hness at somewhat same price as base variant give better tech and also alloy wheels whereas classic offer spoke wheel. Classic offer way too many accessories,true!! But those are also too expensive.

Nice review. I test ride classic today. Felt like meteor with different body. Surprisingly it felt light, so weight management is good now. So in traffic it would do good. But the strange thing I felt and nobody mentioned in any review is that handle position is low and don't feel that good

All in all ,Highness is different bike altogether from RE just they share same engine specs . customers have distinct choice and not close .,those who wants no nonsense modern bike with modern drive can choose Cb350 and those who want old school matured bike can buy classic 350 here no competition exists . Cb 350 has created it's own segment
I have made my mind towards Cb 350.. Now I am riding SUZUKI fiero , (weight of the bike is only 115 kg) from last 17 years,My hight is 5.6 and body weight is 72 kg. Now I want to upgrade ..Will it be a right discussion to go with Honda CB 350..
Bro hness is best in this segment I travel a lot and hness always in any situation is best in highways ,in off-road , city riding handling is so smooth a confident feeling come And have a good road presence in pics it doesn't look good as compare to re but in real it's wow people ask me everytime which bike it is how much it cost what milegae Best bike in this segment as per 2.5 l budget
Same here ...I made up my mind for cb350 but the moment I rode new classic and cb350 back to back,I knew classic is my bike....I enjoyed the new classic ride ...and felt more connected to the new classic than cb 350....I would advise you to take test ride of both the bikes on the same day to decide...both the bikes are great..just go for the one to which you feel connected

Do you think Honda CB350 will not fetch good resale value?
As compare to re it will not give much resale value as it is new and in India all have craze for bullet bullet but hness is much much better in everything if u want to buy I suggest take hness and if u want to sell after 3,4 years take re

5th gear not possible. There is engineknock. Even 4th gear is difficult at 40 - 50 kmph.
3rd gear eco mode is 40 - 60.

Can you please post a guide on how to maintain 3k to 4k rpm range in the cb350? Ideal way to shift that is.
Separate point - I feel the overlap on 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear is slightly less which makes me have to shift frequently. Engine starts knocking on 2nd below 20kph and engine is asking me to shift to 2nd above 20kph on 1st gear

I receny took test drives of cb350 and bullet 350. Few things I would like to share.
Bullet 350 ke seat ke bare me mujhe bhi pahale yahi laga tha ki bahot comfortable hai. But agar 100 kg ka admi bike chala raha hai to thodi der baad cushions dhasne lagte hai. Thode hard cushions hi achche hai. Bullet ke cushions shuruvat me achche lagte hai lekin long ride ke wakt achche nahi lagte.
Vibrations :- Bullet 350 new version me bhi achche khase vibrations hai. Test ride me, ya naya bike liya tab itna samajh me nahi ayega. Par baad me jab aap daily chalaoge to ye vibrations thode pareshan karne lagte hai. Tractor pe baithne jaisa feel ata hai.
Performance :- bullet 350 ka gearing achcha hai. City me chalane ke liye badhiya hai. Cb350 ka tall gearing bhi koi bahot bada problem nahi hai. Aapko adat ho jaegi. But bhai performance CB350 me hi hai. Bullet to bas kuch bada chalane ka feeling deta hai. Cb350 me asali maja hai. Ye bike Honda wale big wing ki jagah agar red wing me bechna chalu kar denge to bhai sach me bullet ke liye mushkil ho jaega.
Yes i own a hness,you are true classic is not value for money,hness at somewhat same price as base variant give better tech and also alloy wheels whereas classic offer spoke wheel.
Classic offer way too many accessories,true!! But those are also too expensive.
I am owner of both bikes....CB is much better, English speaking wife...RE is hindi speaking wife

Almost everyone from Kerala are buying CB 350
For a macho feeling, go for RE next gen. In Darjeeling, everyone crazy for RE or KTM. You generally won't see any CB350

I test ride classic today.
Felt like meteor with different body.
Surprisingly it felt light, so weight management is good now. So in traffic it would do good.
But the strange thing I felt and nobody mentioned in any review is that handle position is low and don't feel that good

I had test rides of both cb 350 and classic ,,,, and i chosen cb 350 ,,, its a high tech man ,,, classic ko mai race de raha hunn vo agge e nh badh rae ,,, meter jada jaldi agge jata uska ,,, but thats not in case of highness ,, ha classic ka low end acha hai ,, but highness me bh itna koi farak nh padta ,,,and jab kabhi bh mai classic chlata hunn muje vo baht chota lagta as comparatively highness ,,, ..😂,,,and handling of highness is mind blowing,,,but seats classic ki soft side hai bs but classic is not that responsive bike ,,,to throttle or breaks even ,,
बड़े भाई hines ओनर 4 या 5 माह चलाने के बाद कंप्लेन कर रहे कि उनको रस्टिंग की प्रॉब्लम आ रही ह कई जगह। 2 लाख से ऊपर इन्वेस्ट कर के ये प्रॉब्लम फेस कर जाए कहा तक उचित ह?
Mere pass teeno hai meteor highness aur classic next gen..teeno mein rusting hai.. silencer pe bas..meteor aur cb350 mein sabse jyada rusting hai

All in all ,Highness is different bike altogether from RE just they share same engine specs . customers have distinct choice and not close .,those who wants no nonsense modern bike with modern drive can choose Cb350 and those who want old school matured bike can buy classic 350 here no competition exists . Cb 350 has created it's own segment

I have made my mind towards Cb 350.. Now I am riding SUZUKI fiero , (weight of the bike is only 115 kg) from last 17 years,My hight is 5.6 and body weight is 72 kg. Now I want to upgrade ..Will it be a right discussion to go with Honda CB 350..

And have a good road presence in pics it doesn't look good as compare to re but in real it's wow people ask me everytime which bike it is how much it cost what milegae

Same here ...I made up my mind for cb350 but the moment I rode new classic and cb350 back to back,I knew classic is my bike....I enjoyed the new classic ride ...and felt more connected to the new classic than cb 350....I would advise you to take test ride of both the bikes on the same day to decide...both the bikes are great..just go for the one to which you feel connected
