tbh with my 3070ti with those modified settings and even others lowered, it only got bad around 40k population. but i was also playing for like 6 hours straight, maybe my GPU was just getting tired or something idk

@@attepatte8485 not sure there is … at least not for my style of the game and that is detailing… i wish they have listened and added stuff that mods made possible in base game like move it so that at least roads aren’t all bumpy and lumpy… and not to mention overdone people and underdone buildings most probably….

These are great! Lets now hope our rigs can run this game lol. Biggest concern ive heard is that the game is very poorly optimized
We've had major steps forward in performance just in the last week, so I'm sure it won't be long before it is better optimized
This video is relaly good! actually somebody making real content about the game (im sure there are manny others) and not going on about how the game feels like a let down. I have hope infact im sure that the devs will turn this title around. My fear is the publisher meddling with the devs giving the customer what they want in the game and not letting the devs have free reign in what to prioritize resources into chipping away the rough edges of what i beleive will be a real diamond peice of software and a testimony a bastion a pillar o f strenge and the true next generation benchmark of what all city builders should aim to achive ass a baseline standard set for the future of this genre. video rating 11 out of 10 great naration keep it up FewCandy this is what people want to watch! keep making content like this!

You can't see where your resources are to plan ahead until you unlock a milestone?
No, not until milestone 3, so it generally doesn't take too long to get there, but the raw resources are pretty sparse on some maps so a good idea to check where they are at least around the start square before you start building!
Rewatching these after I play the game! Crazy how many of these tips are things we always wanted in CS1 and had to use mods for!

tip 34 should be much earlier. After picking your map you need to know how the wind blows. Than start planning. Switching housing and industry can cost you a lot of money. Tip 53 is so typical American. Not telling that you can build a bridge or a tunnel so pedestrians can cross. You do it right at 72. But overall a very good video altough I find your speed of talking a bit too fast.

How do you actually do tip 60 about the specialised Industrie? I have some crazy overproduction of stone and a train Cargo relativly near but instead the train imports stone rather than my stone yard doing any delivering?
also, there seems to be a bug with the college and you can biuld your city without a dump, i went for the recycling center. expensive but good for industry. there is time to unlock before poeple complain.
tip 45 12:00 ... there is only prohibits signs options ... i'm struggling to find the opposite option like i want to make 2 lanes instead of 1 entering a roundabout to be able to turn left... how ?

21:02 i used those modified settings, and even lowered some others, and at around 40k population, it starts getting bad. and i have a 3070ti. up until 40k is perfect and great though. also im getting ZERO medium and high density demand. i mean i do have like 20% taxes but im going broke man, i need to export more electricity or something to subsidize taxes.
About graphics, I recommend letting it on high, then go to advanced and lower all "ray" stuf. The game is having a hard time to ray trace it all, but the rest is fine

You dont need to purchase the tile a castle ruin is on. You can grab it and move it without the tile being purchased. Ive moved them from across the map into my new city before I've even started building.

At this point city skylines is just an unreal engine 4 map level editor. It just looks amazing and you can do anything
