  • Spectre: The Phantom Factory.
    The year is 1899 and 'The Seance Society' have prepared a live demonstration of their latest invention, the 'Hades' - the only machine capable of communication with the dead. Their demonstration is taking place at the most haunted building in the world, the Adams Mechnical Factory.
    The Factory was owned by landowner George Adams, whose meddling in witchcraft and the the occult made him infamous. He vanished decades ago in a mysterious and unexplained mansion fire, but rumours began to circulate that he resided in his now-abandoned Factory. His rumoured presence at the Factory earned him nickname: The Spectre, and it is believed he is behind many disappearances from the building.
    Dare you come into the Phantom Factory and awake the Spectre?

    This ride is a steampunk influenced Planet Coaster sequel to the Curse of the Spectre ride I made in RCT3. I hope you enjoy despite the poor frame rate!

    This is AMAZING. I love the sound effects from other rides (haunted mansion and the mummy 😍). Beautifully incorporated them, and gave it more life.

    That was stunning! The mix of steampunk and supernatural really came together perfectly, and you created a great atmosphere. Bravo

    A wonderful ride as always, sir. Bonus props for combining both Planet Coaster and RCT3 sets in the intro; the new hotness is all well and lovely, but it was a surprisingly comforting rush of nostalgia to see those old Vodhin gaslamps again. I absolutely agree with all of the other comments that are coming in; fantastic storytelling, great use of effects and lighting, phenomenal atmosphere. One thing in particular I'd like to add is an appreciation for the more subtle touches, perhaps using some of the limitations of Planet Coaster to your advantage; the reuse of the limited number of appropriate scenery objects such as the steam pistons, and the little "ding!" of the elevator door piece opening between stages giving that slight mitigation to the fear factor, that little reminder in the back of your head to "relax, it's just a ride" while also making it feel more realistic, like the sort of dark ride one could actually find at a real world theme park.

    Holy Crap! That was amazing! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Poor frame rate? Are you kidding me?! This was absolutely astonishing! I've seen a bunch of dark rides from RCT3 before and none of them compare to this ride! I am definitely watching this again and again!

    Wow absolutely stunning. As good as it's predecessors and building more on the story of mr.adams and how he earned his money. Great job,almost felt like xour rct3 spectre rides,altough a lot grander effects wise.

    I don't think there's any compliment I can give this that isn't in any of the other comments......my only criticism is the use of recognizable dialogue from other well-known properties. Surely someone who can come up with all this could've written something original and foreboding,as well as know at least one person who has the perfect voice for it.

    This ride is good enough on its own merit, no need to rip off the Haunted Mansion excerpt

    • @Hethdesignsparks
      @Hethdesignsparks  4 года назад

      What's wrong with using that excerpt? It saved me recording my own shoddy voiceover.
