- The Bull Huss have taken a bit of finding so far but in this video a few nice specimen came aboard Reel Time. I had to resort to buying some mackerel bait as I've really struggled to find any mackerel out on the reefs or anywhere other than the tackle shop or fish shop.
Once again I had a great day out and hope you enjoy the adventure.

Good to see the fishing is improving for you since Part 2. Another great watch, and as you say, the weather can change everything. Looking forward to part 4, thanks for sharing.
Thanks, you just have to work around the conditions and enjoy yourself. Phil
Always better to be safe than sorry. Good choice.
I’m very cautious especially with the small boat, There’s always another day to head out, no need for taking a risk. Thanks
Lovely, thanks for taking us with you
No problem Tommo, glad you’re enjoying tagging along via RUclips. Don't forget your fishing rod next time you’re out on the boat.
Nice video Phil, shame about the weather in open water. You did well though in the sheltered water, the huss are just angry fish😂
Lots of head shaking and a fine set of teeth - I’ll be minding my fingers 😃😃
SAFETY FIRST!!! Awesom Fishing! I wouldnt call it tottaly Awesom though.Sitting at my computor this afternoon here in Canada I saw a RUclips video which took me on a drive around Loch Awe!!! Reminded me of your videos of fishing Loch Awe!!! CHEERS from HERE!!!
Thanks. I'm keen to get back to Loch Awe and the West Coast lochs again. The Falmouth area is beginning to fish better and it was good to catch the Huss.
Very enjoyable watching yea oot in yer boat Phil, plans often change when boat fishing due to weather, the flairs fit nicely in that container 👍
I had tae lauch at your wife’s confidence in you catching a fish for your supper 😂😂
Beutiful huss, I would love tae catch one o them 🎣 tight lines ma freen
Can’t have too much safety gear (and know when and how to use it). I think the boat is far more capable than I have bottle for. That’s probably a good thing as I head for shelter before it gets scary. Thanks again for the flare pack they are much appreciated.
@@anotherangleUK Your welcome Phil, aye you have a good boat there cant wait to get a sail in her 🎣
We'll get something organised. Your knowledge of the NE Scotland coastline will be very handy.
Great session Phil and the first Huss was indeed a beauty ! Your little safety interlude reminded me of the thoughts that the "Fishing Salcombe" channel (Rob) gave about a year ago, think it was called the "Life Jacket Debate" and was a really interesting perspective as he has been involved in boating and search and rescue for decades. Worth a listen IMO.
Thanks for the comments. I’m subscribed to Rob’s channel as he’s another small boater like myself. I saw he’d had some mackerel on his last trip. They are a bit scarce further west in Falmouth.
Very nice video there Phil your getting a bit good at now mate, Thank you,
Being a visitor to the area it’s all about finding the fish each time you come down here. Thanks for watching and commenting James.
@@anotherangleUK no problem mate we both know how much it dose for the algorithm on are video's,
Always nice hearing what you think of the videos and I enjoy keeping tabs on what you're up to 😊
