I don’t want to sound horrible here - they are both lovely - but we can not keep supporting people on benefits. It’s not fair to those ones that work. Just because I’m on maternity leave my partner has to provide for me and we are watching our budget like hawks otherwise we would be in trouble. I if I hadn’t had ‘anything’ state would help out … nah … it doesn’t sit well with me that we have to work our arses off and others don’t. Right. Enough. Rant over.
sounds like you're picking on poor people. In the beginning it mentioned them looking for jobs but not being taken on. As someone who has been on benefits it is awful, you get barely anything, and you have to go to many interviews and many places before you're taken on again. And it is depressing, which works against your fighting spirit. Everyone is struggling at the moment. But it's not right to say we can't support those on benefits.
