A tip for freelancers that are graphic designers. Wattpad is a great place to get started, target famous wattpad writers that are adults, they ask you to create logos & book covers. And sometimes there's a possibility of the book being published which gives you more money and publicity. You dont HAVE to do it, its just a good place to get started

Great work Jazza. Good information here. One question. I see people doing how to draw videos on copyright characters. Since they aren't able to monetize that video are they only doing it to draw attention to their other videos? Or is there a loop hole in the idea of teaching someone to draw the character not just a speed drawing video? Thanks and good luck with your channel!

There's one thing I hate about freelance. I often admire my own art and I hate giving it away. Since I do traditional art there is no way of getting around this problem.

    • @SilverXtreeem
      @SilverXtreeem 7 лет назад +15

Tanks Explosions Anime you need to create the original, and make digital copies with your name on them. then you sell the copies and keep the original, so others can see and admire your art without really taking it away from you.

Tanks Explosions Anime That's perfectly ok, you can also take a nice picture with your phone or computer, crop the image, add any filters needed if you want to and promote and or sell it digitally. Youd still always have the original piece, and others can consider buying. If you go to a school you can also take the picture and make copies using the schools computer, my school has a printer in the library that I often use becase I also don't have one at home.

    • @TanksExplosionsAnime

It was nice to finally get ads on my videos and also get paid for views, but even if I never was asked to become a partner or for monetization I would still build. Hello Jazza!
So I'm twelve, I'm an anime artist who doesn't have much experience with backgrounds and complicated poses and even drawing the male figure. I want to start selling art, but all I have are around 64 copics and sort of cheap colored pencils. I love my art and I want to start selling it, but th we things seem kind of hard for me. I am an extorvert when it comes to people my age, but as a Girl Scout when selling cookies I have a lot of trouble going out and selling and I feel like I would have the same problem with this. I barely have a cartooon style, and my style is a little hard to draw in at times. (If that makes sense) We have a festival in my town where kids and adults are allowed to set up booths and can sell things. Do you think that if I were to set up a booth that I would be able to earn money? Would that be a good starting point for me?
    Than you!
I hope to see a response soon!

*How did you get your sponsorship?*
*What resources did you start with to get where you are today?*
I do not have a computer with flash or other programs like it. I am also trying to find a part-time job. (Its Not going well)
*Have you ever had to deal with limited resources if so how did you overcome them?*

I want to do this as a living. I really do, but the work I do for a living doesn't give me the time to set up a living with this. I work full days sometimes. I try to schedule things for myself, but at the end of each day, I am just exhausted, and can't bring myself to do anything. It truly is a shame...

Step 1: Cut down your spending by half. This obviously is the really hard part. You might need to completely change your living situation so that you have roommates. You may need to overhaul your diet and take some cooking lessons. Get used to buying 2nd hand.
Step 2: Save the other half of your paycheck for a year. Maybe take this time to come up with a business plan.
Step 3: Quit your job, or take a sabbatical if that's available. You've bought yourself 6 months to use, and you have a hard deadline.

Direct question to Jazza: If I wanted to make an app or website game, where would I go to find someone. I have no experience in coding or using engines. So should I go to multiple forums websites and ask people if they want to help me? Or do you think I should just learn basic coding for flash games and make them myself?

Jazza, how long have you been on Newgrounds? I think I've seen a lot of your works when I was like, 11 or 12? And I'm 15 right now.
