My shins are starting to look nasty from deadlifts so I had to order some socks, hoping it's normal enough that people don't think it's abnormal to be walking in there with almost knee high socks or something. As far as putting the bar down, when I get up in the hundreds of pounds it pretty much comes straight down anyway so I never have much of a problem with it.
This is exactly why those hexagonal plates are absolute bullshit. Because you can’t adjust the bar position on the floor in real time. You have to scoot your fucking FEET because the plates were designed NOT to roll, for some asinine reason.
It puts the bar over the midfoot or it gets the hose again
