I started off trying this by looking for dropkick, dual wield dropkick, finesse dropkick, etc. etc. I decided to try something different and it worked! Hope you guys enjoy, good luck on your achievement runs :)
My original plan was using 2 Bodyslam and 3 Defend. That way I would only have to remove 7 cards and I would not need any specific relics. But then I got lucky and looted a Flame Barrier early. So 2 Bodyslam, 2 Defend and Flame Barrier.
I just got this achievement yesterday. I had spot weakness+/limit break+/headbutt/sword boomerang+/shrug+ literally had a 6th card (defense+) up until second to last floor, and got the event to put a card in the fire. went into awakened one and just destroyed it. Would spot weakness, limit break, headbutt, shrug, limit break again (had 5 energy). then do the same every round except swap spot weakness with boomerang.
Bảo Phúc Hoàng he had orichalcum, so not playing a defend gave him more block because he was frail. His defends would only give me 3-4 block but the relic gave him 6 for not having any block
He still messed up here or there with shields and so on, but impressive to my newbie self. My second run (first with The Silent), I beat each of the three bosses with only remaining 2/75 hp, to this day I can't comprehend how lucky I was. I only had 665 power at the end. 40 cards, 102 dmg by the boss, one of my cards had a healing property and my relic had 50% effectiveness increase... anyway, to have beaten each boss one the absolute end of my rope at the last possible turn was exhilarating. People like to complain about RNG but that sold me for this game.
I can't believe he managed to win with so few cards! I won't be trying it when I finally get the game, but this was interesting to watch. High five mate! :-)
Robin Buitenhuis It doesn’t matter if the enemy is already vulnerable. Otherwise it could be to control damage on enemies who have special abilities when they reach low health, such as slimes or the champ.

Disappointed about the fact that you gave in to the stereotype that bi guys aren’t loyal 😭

Searing blow with armaments would have been way better because it gives block and an upgrade to searing blow every turn
Nice I didn't even think about that.
Man if only you could've had an armaments instead of a defend, that would've been even nuttier
that would mean yet another card removal, which does not come easily xD
This is the complete and polar opposite to Northernlion and I love it
Yep
I beat this with flex, limit break, and battle trance. Got to insane amounts of strength quadrupling it every turn.
Andrew Pirondini Weird flex but ok
I wonder why this achievement (and for that matter, Common Sense and Who Needs Relics?) are rarer than Ascent 20.
6:35 what's happening here? Was something cut?

high defendcard, entrench, baricade(or calipers) and rampage(or searing blow) would work also great!
My new favorite StS streamer... Need to catch you on Twitch
@jrm1ah, Why cut combat out of the vid here and then?

How to win with 5 cards only
Unceasing top and a deck of nothing but anger, endless agony or claw
inb4 time eater and Corrupted heart
I did it once with +armor power, power/attack duplication and spikes.
Double Tap and We seems to be the best 5 card combo.
few slight misplays, but nothing too obvious. and it happens to everyone, me more than most XD
enjoyable video
Yea I was thinking samething. Made me a lil upset when I seen it, but I still enjoyed the vid
That screen shake is kinda painful, to be honest.
Ya everytime I start up a game I'll go to options to see if I can turn it off.
Nice Milky Chance in the background
16:59 Why end turn?
Bảo Phúc Hoàng he had orichalcum, so not playing a defend gave him more block because he was frail. His defends would only give me 3-4 block but the relic gave him 6 for not having any block
@@graystone2802 he still played a defend, i dont see the point not playing the other two too.
why doesnt he bash before searing blow?
Tho, you've got huge balls 14:10
Here I am struggling to beat the last boss with a full deck
I did it with a rampage deck because drop kick fucked me at the spikeys on the third act.
I got this with 2 dropkicks and an uppercut
Wow, that sequence of Searing Blow, Bash out of order and missing the kill on the Gremlin Leader by 3 points could have easily cost you the run.
Nothing was out of order, the boss was still vulnerable.. lol
Aha. Oops.

Im new to the game. Is there a reason you bash second?
the enemy was already vulnerable, or it was a missplay.
Dropkick+rampage also works
Nice job man!
I can't believe he managed to win with so few cards! I won't be trying it when I finally get the game, but this was interesting to watch. High five mate! :-)
why searing blow first then bash? If you bash first you deal more damage with searing blow right?

Dude wtf happened to your other channel
This fucking music lol
5 card "challenge" where the fewer cards you have the more likely you get the cards you want challenge my ass.
cool 😎
That fking dropkick at the last, shop, why didnt you get it?
because he was aiming for the 5 card achievement
Many misplays in the start :p
and the middle and the end x)
indeed that guy sucks so hard
That's better than my runs: many misplays the whole run.
6 angers, unceasing top.
Tell that to time eater
awesome
Why can't you see the dmg of the enemy's, nice vid btw
He took the runic dome relic from the 1st boss, which removes the ability to see enemies intents
GJ :)
Why no offering? you could just draw searing blow again
But then the deck would have been 6 cards and he wouldn't get the achievement.
got it
Disappointed about the fact that you gave in to the stereotype that bi guys aren’t loyal 😭
Nothing hurts me more than this dude saying pot as a shorthand for potion
You will get over it, snowflake! ;D
