Abbath said that he's sober now and he's open to returned to Immortal, but his good enough I don't think he needs Immortal sober or otherwise these proves it right here.
Abbath should do a 3rd Abbath album but also reunite with Immortal. Demonaz did a good job on Nothern Chaos Gods but Abbath is the one and only original. I would like to hear them both singing together on the next Immortal album. Also Demonaz should bring out a 2nd one of his own solo album. I like March of the Norse and I like his voice from that album more than I like his Northern Chaos Gods voice. But everything from Immortal is great, the solo albums I, March of the Norse and Abbath 1+2 are as good as all the Immortal albums. And Immortal Live needs Abbath, no live concert without Abbath.

That riff and that drum rhythm drew me in right away. Abbath is back, and even with a totally new lineup, I give him credit for persevering. Besides, this has that wonderful feel that Abbath's writing has; the man still knows his way around a riff, and that's what matters most to me.
Brilliant production, terrific guitar riff, wicked drums, powerful vocals, overall it's a masterpiece! ABBATH (the man and the band) are back with a vengeance. I'm just proud to get TWO bands (IMMORTAL & ABBATH) being the real bishops of the true Black Metal with no compromises and no symphonic BS thrown in the middle.
ABBATH is the king, he's superb in everything he does. The videoclip is also a small piece of art accompanying this incredible, marvellous, dark song coming from the deep of the soul.
You cannot beat ABBATH. Just surrender. He is the definitive master.
