hmm, at this rate you would need to replace other NPC to their 98 looks too, including: + Annette: well, I think we just need to replace her hair with Ada hair with blode color + Ben: Remove his facial hair, change his shirt to white, we can keep the jacket + Kendo: Retexture his yellow shirt to white + Brian Iron: change his hair & beard color + Katherine: maybe lenghthen her skirt a littlbe bit?
Now that I also notice, Sherry classic costume is not the same if we compare to her clothes Her sleeves in Original are actually long sleeves, which made the remake costume even more resemble than the original if we consider only the costume's composition We might just need to edit her current remake costume texture to "whiten" it so it would looks closer to the original
I think you did a fantastic job with her boots, I think it is more than obvious that the gloves would have to be longer and that the fanny pack would have to disappear, but I think it certainly looks great
You even nailed the way her shorts are supposed to be cut. A true classic mod that actually cares for the details unlike that trash "reimagined" letdown Capcom ended up giving us. Really wish I understood how Jill's original costume turned out so good in RE3R while they totally fumbled the bag on Claire.
this is SUPER GOOD! the most classic mod i've ever seen! ppl mostly do recolor mods :) dunno what you think about mixing models, but there are some in other games that could help you if you can't make one all by yourself! (i really like the frankenstein method of modding lol) Sonya on Mortal Kombat 11 has a jacket with a collar(or something like that) that looks like the one in the original Claire jacket! maye if you find the model online you could mix it up :P anyways loved to see this mod do you plan on doing a code veronica one?? i can't believe the fact no one executed this idea yet :') RE2 Remake classic Jacket of Claire is basically her jacket on Code Veronica! mix that up with the jeans and there you have it! anyways, just some ideas :') keep up with the good work

I don't mean to rush you. I know you just want it to be perfect before releasing it. And if you prefer to finish the hair before releasing it then I understand completely. I'm just so excited!! That turtle neck and collar was a bitch to rig. I got it 99% I think, so I'm happy with it. Haven't noticed anything glaring, so I just need to finesse the textures now.

The above isn't really finished yet, but I'll have the option for both the more classic hair(in the vid) and her Remake hair. I'm also gonna have it in the original color, a dark brown, and a more reddish color.

Not yet. I've been working a lot lately, so I haven't been able to work on this project as much as I'd like to. Still gonna release it and will post a new video when I do.
Did you ever release this? Her hair and outfit look amazing here and closest to the original. No other mod I can find looks this good, especially the hair.
I actually haven't released it yet. The version from the video is a pretty old compared to where I had last left it before starting my RE2 fan film. The plan is to try and convert my film models into the game at some point in the future. I haven't modded the game in awhile, so I'd have to relearn everything again. So have hope, I still plan to release this.
I wonder if someone can make a mod for the Daughters in RE8 Village to have Classic Claire's outfit of RE2 "Made in Heaven"? I think will be amazing :D

Yeah, planning to do everyone. I'm at a new job, so it's going slower than I would like. Won't be done before RE3 comes out, but I want to try and do everyone relatively quick.
I was working on it here and there until Capcom did the RTX update, which kinda killed me being able to work on it for a while. I then spent time working 100% on my film instead. I still have files, but my film has been my priority for now. I'll finish her, when I get that done first. She'll look better than the one in this video for sure.

I'm pretty sure I still have it on one of my older harddrives, along with my classic Sherry and Annette. I'll look into it at some point. I've been researching the RE2R mod scene again to try and port my film models in the future. I've unfortunately forgotten a lot of the process of porting, so if I can't figure it out I'll try and release the beta ones.

@@nosajoemor you mean her non vest version? Yup! Both Classic vest and tank top will be replaced with my versions of her original outfit. I will also do the same thing for Sherry, so Claire and her match.
I'm not quite done with it. When I am, I'll post a new video on my channel with like Version 1 of it. I'm pretty close to being done, I just haven't much time to sit down and work on it thanks to work.

I didn't edit her waist or body in any way. Her vest is just the default red moto jacket with the sleeves taken off. That was then stuck on her default "classic" costume.

Thankfully her shirt no longer a black bodypaint, it’s an actual shirt, i hate it when Capcom got lazy and did not put her gloves and shirt
