Thank you for finally a documentary showing the beautiful, charming and warm side of Papua New Guinea. I am a long term resident of Papua New Guinea and been to even more remote areas. Its simply gorgeous and pristine. Port Moresby is not the yardstick to judge the entire PNG. Good one.

No, they are not the same race as you Africans. Do not ever think that way. They are of different race of deferent ethnicity. They don't have (empathy) the feeling of connection to Africans. I am a Papua New Guinean myself and I am telling you. I have experience with some of my friends who are Africans. So Melanesians are of their own race. Our nearest brothers and sisters whom we feel connected to are Australian Aboriginals, Polynesians, Micronesians and American Aboriginals. Yes, we came out of African continent, but we are a different race, people with fuzzy-wazzy or woolly hairs and brown skin colour from dark to light.
Alternate Manhood fresh and different range of their own for sure. But all peoples, even Europeans, are 'African' in form and physical origin. Another interpretation is only near sighted misconception and disconnect from the true basic reference. Most Melaneasians have strikingly noticeable similarity to Africans. Europeans less.
