I love this build. Also have a suggested name for your Heavy Duty Tree Trinmer: Tree Rex.
Tip! drill a hole 1/4" about 3/4" from main saw mounting hole and make a fold over lock washer with a tang that both holds the blade and the bolt head
You guys are hilarious because you banter like brothers instead of friends!!! Can't WAIT to see the saw actually cutting limbs!!!
Tree limbs that is!
@@artvelazquez8038 Or whatever. 😆
Well MBTS was taller than dirt perfect till they started cutting things.
I was thinking the same thing! They are just like brothers!😂
💪🤠. You gotta paint
“Saw Perfect”
on the side !!!
👏👏👏👏👏
death perfect
Three things you need to pay attention to when working with a saw: safety, safety, and safety.
So, safety 3rd?? 😂
@@codysp mmmm😁
DP, you need to charge admission to watch you two work, you two crack me up.
Wow! A few minutes into the video and Aaron is calling someone out!! Dueling go carts!! Video the races Mike!!😂😂😂❤
I'm so glad you an arrow get along so well
Spent my life driving truck and salvaging product that every body left.
Drove truck for many years.
Now I'm fighting ILD and it's a losing battle.
So glad to see how much your able to carry on a good repor with each other.
Companies are nothing without employees.
Wish I could be with both of you.
Your good positive imput to all of us.
Thank you Mike and Arron, love to see you work together. 40:34 40:35
Now that's entertainment. Great build guys. Don't forget to put a cotter pin on that blade nut. It stops so fast it could loosen up.
You and Aaron are about as funny as two drunk sailors.😂
LOVE AARON !!!! BE NICE TO HIM !!!!
DIY (destroy it yourself) saw. Absolutely loved the first test drive ❤
Well I haven’t finished watching yet, but at least I know both DP and MBTS started the video with all their limbs and digits still attached
Hopefully no new channel name or character , AKA Captain Hook .
I "saw" it work! IT'S ALIVE. Absolutely genius work and a few laughs to boot. I foresee some new sawhorses in the shop after Mike finishes playing around. Great channel, great content.
What I really enjoy about you and your show here…. It’s the blacksmith’s shop aspect of your business. I caught onto you about the time you were first building your field pipe installation accessor for your dozer. Love that and what you do with it. You are a great designer. And it’s so nice that you’ve found a great welder and partner like Aaron.
I’m sitting here watching this video on my iPhone and I’m jumping up and down for you guys. You guys successfully built what you wanted and it works. I can’t wait to see it in operation. Have a good day guys.
Good morning all !! Have a great day😀😀😀
u know what would be even more awesome watching L.T. Dan do work
Awesome job building the saw Mr Dirt Perfect and MBTS
I think you two fellows had as much fun with this project as I did watching.😃
The shop videos are the best , great build, guys .
Thanks
It's Dr. DPstien and his sidekick Igor building his latest creation the Frankensaw 2000. I don't know why Aaron keeps complaining about the sawhorses, any pipe fitter worth his salt can make some dang sawhorses out of 2in sch 40 pipe. Oh that's right Aaron is a boilermaker, same difference though. Great work guys can't wait to see it in action.😊
The axle break drum idea was pretty smart sure! You got some ideas nicely done
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Looking forward to seeing this cutting trees. Wishing you and your family the best.
Great job you guys and to be honest I never had a doubt it wouldn’t work. You were very meticulous throughout the whole build. Tru sign of professionalism.👍👍👍
Ask Capt Calamity if he has any spare fire hose laying about so you can use it as a shield for the hoses on the pizza cutter.😂😂😂
Good idea Phil
Aaron needs to have on the back of his welding jacket. Just the big word YEAH!!
You could also use an old bicycle tire, as a shield.
Great job guys. Fantastic concept turning old parts into a functional tree trimmer, big tree trimmer. Great video!
Surprising at how accurate it cut on the sawhorse Mike, can't wait to see you do in a tree. 👍
The master of Plumbing 101. This build looks deadly enough to actually work Mike. 👍👍
The direction the blade is spinning will loosen the nut not tighten it, IF it does it at all. In theory, it’s the force opposing the blade that will rotate the nut.
I really enjoy watching you guys fabricate things. KEEP IT UP..
I had my doubts along the way, but, you did it! Congratulations. Many obstacles/details well thought out.
Looking forward to seeing it on the job!
Great video Mr Dirt Perfect and MBTS
Mike and Aaron You have made my day. You set out on a project and low and he holds accomplished it. Fantastic job. Have a Great Day and God Bless You and Yours.
DP Dropping a teaser! Aaron Yellow for sure to warn bystanders of potential danger.
Candy Cane Stripes!!!! For the WIN!!
Good morning sunshine! I'm sooo ready to see what it can do! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
Enjoying the build suggest you paint lines on the saw blade to indicate when it's turning i.e. similar to a propeller when spinning
That’s an impressive build. Arron is genius with that welder and you have a great imagination in how you come up with that idea. Well done!
Find a tree that needs " Trimmed " and let the games begin.....lol . Dam nice work Mike. I love shop days.
Every great memory must include the quotes "just taste it"!!! And "will you put it in the hole??" 😂😅😂😅
Awesome! Glad to see it cut the sawhorse smooth
Ok that cut was impressive 😮
Best line of the whole video as your putting on the liquid tape: cannot put it on the wrong way.
Just scary but very genius build well done dp and mbts you pair are brilliant cheers Jill Australia 🇦🇺 🐨
I'm not used to a clean shaven MBTS. You guys always make me smile. I laugh along side you guys with the banter. The suspense is killing me!!!
It's alive Egore! It's alive! 👍
That's Igore!
😄
Yall are a trip! lol
Wow how awesome fellas great job always enjoy your shop videos mike thanks for sharing MBTS rules 😂😂
That is terrifyingly awesome.
GREAT JOB DP AND MBS this will be awesome to see out working
Good morning, dirt perfect 7 o'clock AM. Tuesday? March 26th.NC
Good morning DP and Aaron
This works so nice, if you rotate it to other side, obviously, you'll see even better!! Such a piece of equipment!!!
Awesome job Guys! Man I’m on the edge of my seat watching this 😂 Keep up the great work!
I like Aarons idea of the barbers' spiral paint scheme. "A little off the top!" Maybe green and black???
I would definitely do a spiral paint on the blade so you could see if it was spinning
Hey DP this is your best build so intricate really impressive you guys could go into production .great viewing
Kym
Adelaide
Thanks
At 7:45..😂 I was no no wait till all assembled 😂😂
Mike and Aaron what a beautiful piece of engineering! You’re both great inventors! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
When the blade is working the forces on the blade will be trying to loosen the nut won't it? If the shaft turns clockwise the forces on the blade/nut will be counterclockwise. The free spinning blade will try to tighten the nut at the moment the shaft stops turning.
It was addressed in the video.
@@rmacsrmaddog2192I do believe they had it on the correct way at first. Then they changed it so the blade teeth cut down. Which when the blade hits the wood it will loosen the nut 💁♂️😉
I've been waiting weeks for this day lol
You mentioned a 240 excavator. I didn't know you have one. All I remember is the 210 Hyundai. Huh.
That thing is awesome, phenominal craftsmanship guys....The Wicked Saw !
I believe that the blade rotation is incorrect. If the bade jams the nut will undo. Turn the blade so that it is on the right hand side/ cab side and change the blade so the teeth face the other way will correct the issue and also give better view of the blade to the operator.
I have to laugh so many people say the same thing. He addressed it in the video.
Yes the blade is backwards at the end. The nut will loosen if the blade stalls. The blade must rotate counter-clockwise (view from shaft end) to self-tighten the nut.
240, Hmmmmm. I don't recall any mention of a 240. Now, take the saw back apart and send it out to be chrome plated. This will resolve any issues with color choice. You're welcome.
240 has been here for a bit. Its the taki skid steer
MBTS looking sharp fresh shaved
Ok I see I’m not the only one to catch the reference to a mystery 240. When do we see that reveal? Chop, chop! 😂🤣
You might want to rethink the blade rotation direction.
The shaft drives the blade, and if you put drag on the blade, is it going to unthread?
You must have missed that part of the video.
I could have, but I could see that blade comming off of that shaft. I'm glad you caught that.
lol yup
Great job Mike and Aron
Slit a piece of heater hose lengthwise to slide over the sawblade to protect it in transport.
hello Mike & Aaron & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Mike & Aaron & Friends Randy
I think you may want to reevaluate the blade direction.. If the blade jams, it will spin the nut off in a heartbeat. If you look at your circular saw, you'll see that you tighten the nut in the opposite direction from the direction of rotation. If nothing else, make sure you place a cotter pin to secure that nut.
Nice Work guy's
Aarons voice always reminds me of Billy Bob Thornton voice in the movie Sling Blade
Great work on the trimmer. Can't wait to see it in action. I've got work for it.
It's a thing of beauty. Farmer Chris will have a workload for you now trimming trees.
That saw is great ! I cant wait for the extra parts coming soon then the real test on the job !
Awesome work guys.
I've never seen a chop saw that big.
I think the nut will loosen with the blade turning in that direction, but that looks to be the safest cutting direction. left hand threads would be nice
Great job on the “see saw”
Love this build. Thanks for the video
Good job.
Thanks for the video!
Bravo guys!!! I love it when a plan comes together!!!
Congratulations! Great job!
Love it.....u guys crack me up. Good job well done
Thanks for sharing
That's right where I guessed! Dont forget to compensate for the weight of the hydraulic fluid in the system. 👍
Good job guys
Brilliant build, can't wait to see it being used in the field. 👍
Great job Guys!!!
You should patented your new cutter. 😂 great welding JOB.!!!😂
Enjoyed this one a lot.
Great engineering, great content can't ,,wait to see it in action
Well done you guys! Very cool!
I love the shop videos ; especially when there is shop shenanigans!!!
Great job.
Great job guys. Nice to see you and Aaron get so excited about your project. Thanks again!!!!!!
Thanks for showing the build. I’ve been wanting to build something similar for cutting back the limbs around our fields. The brake you built on there is an awesome idea!! Thanks.
What a magnificent job. Beautiful ❤
