  • Taking a look at this masterpiece titled Biomechanical Toy. Such an interesting and unique arcade game that everyone should play at least once.
I decided to upload one more vid here toward the end of 2022. Best wishes to everyone watching out there!

Only ever played this once briefly on emulation, it was fun and your video here is making me want to replay it, cheers Luke ✌️

Its such a wild and quirky game, definitely worth a revisit in my opinion but there are a lot of great games out there and I know you've played quite a few! Thanks man!

Fun fact: being this game programmed by Zeus Software, the same developers of Comando Tracer on ZX Spectrum and Risky Woods for Amiga/ST/PC/MD, seems they made a tribute to the last. You can hear that sampled voice at 08:15when you hit the plant is the same as in Risky Woods when hitting another kind of eyed carnivore plant. Happy to see this board reviewed in your channel. Unfortunately it was quite unpopular when launched, even in his homeland. I don't remember having seen it never in any arcade, whereas it was common to find other Gaelco titles like World Rally 1/2 or Radikal Bikers, so the first time I discovered it was on MAME around 2000-2001.

Merry Christmas Luke! Hope you had a good one! Thank you for all the uploads you've put out over the year. I always learn something new from your vids, from watching fixes to including insane arcade games with caterpillar cigarettes on a train to hell like this 😂 you're a legend dude. Thank you 👍

Thats awesome Chris and thank you too! I appreciate all of the support and for those out there who enjoy watching the vids. Some funny concepts in this game but definitely worth a shot. I hope you have a Happy Holiday as well and once again, thank you soo much!

Luke for two months the RUclips Recommendations Algorithm was constantly recommending a lot of your older videos. Stuff I actually never even saw before and I am thankful because I saw things like your RC (Remote Control) video. And I really wish you could get back to things like that someday because it was another side of coolness from you that I really enjoyed watching. Another kind of video I saw from your earliest days was you driving in your car. I never saw those before as well because when I first stumbled upon your channel it was already your biking around videos phase.

Thanks for checking out the older vids. The variety of vids back in the day was fun and although some people enjoyed them, others found them uninteresting. I have put up visits to other places around Japan, museums, etc but yeah, I just try to keep the channel mostly gaming now. I appreciate the support and I am also thankful that you and others still watch these poor vids. I wish you a happy holiday for the end of 2022 and the best for 2023 my friend! take care and thanks again!

HAHA, a bit misleading there. I see what you mean though. The thing about this game is that the colors are really out there and one could feel like they really are playing a game like DK Country haha. Thanks for the continued support Randall and have a happy holiday!

Sad End - lol! This is a game I've seen but never played. Lots of variation in the stages which is nice. Looks like it controls pretty well too. I thought of so many references to other games too. I'll definitely put this onto my MAME cabinet this holiday and play it. Thanks for showing it off!

    • @lukemorse1
      @lukemorse1  Год назад +1

That ending right lol. One title that is quite unknown to a lot of people but definitely worth the play through. The controls are quite fluid and the stage variation is cool. Hope it becomes an enjoyable play through for you and thanks for watching!

What a great company! the Mastery of programmers at that time, was at a level where few reached, they were real arcade games, direct and fun , with a sound and visual beauty like " Big Karnak " (despite some similar enemy to Karnov / Bad Dudes..) were incredibly good and as worthy or better than any Hit in the Sega or Capcom era.
    great video, thanks👍

A very nervous and zany run and gun in its atmosphere. I didn't know it in arcade but later in emulation.
With Gaelco, I remember more World Rally(93) and Speed Up(96)
Thanks for this long play !
Passe de joyeuses fêtes mon ami ! ;)

TRIVIA - it uses the track Drumskate from the Subway soundtrack by Eric Serra who also did the music for Fifth Element including the Alien Opera Singer

Although this one looks like it was pulled from the Titanic, it is still original and works about as well as it can but it IS an original board so Im glad to have this one in the collection. Thanks for checking it out!

This game is crazy, it's like an Amiga game like Zool but it has way way way too much graphical power behind it. Like it uses the weird airbrushed boxart instead of sprites.

Gaelco are a bit unusual being a Spanish company. I saw a couple of their racing games in Ireland later on but the earlier stuff didn't make it here except World Rally.
