5th Generation Ford Explorer Alternator Replacement!

Hey Guys and Gals,
Sooo, the alternator has gone out on the 2013 Police Interceptor Ford Explorer. We have a "Check Charging System" error on the dash lights, and a code in the PCM. When I checked the battery, it was at 14.5V without the car running. With it running, it was around 15.6V which is dangerous for a battery to be at!
So, I replace the alternator. Overcharging problem solved! But, with the battery being overcharged I felt it was necessary to replace as well to be safe.

Did you have to remove ac or oil turbo lines

No to the AC lines. I was able to wiggle the alternator through the top side by removing the radiator fans. Worse case scenario, the radiator itself can be removed as well. My explorer is a non-turbo engine
