Welcome back to Kels and John - it's our favorite time of year! Join us as we decorate for Christmas and share with your our Christmas decor haul! We make over our Orlando apartment with our beautiful huge Christmas tree (9 ft!) that we picked up from Home Depot and plenty of home christmas decor from Disney, Target, Anthro and more. The best way to figure the right tree size is one that takes a bit of work. Get a tape measure and a ten foot double sided ladder. The center of your ceiling fan place the end of the measuring tape and hold that there while letting the body fall to the floor it’s kinda fun but lock the tape once it hits the floor. That’s your measurement as that’s the clearance you have for the tree. Usually around 7-8 feet maximum. Or do it the hard way by getting the measuring tape out and the extending it from the ground and you aren’t really gonna just it take longer. Anyway sometimes it’s a lot less depending on place but you’ll do fine. The store display for Christmas trees actually is thinner than what you get, no really the store tends to trim it down to it’s narrowest it can be then replace all the lights to make it look pretty. It’s a tactic that you might not notice but it gives them business besides it’s a display piece.

Wow that tree is impressive! Now whenever you move house in the future you’ll be thinking ˋwhere will the Christmas tree go?´ lol. My favourite ornaments are the Disney gingerbread figures and the cushions. Lovely and festive everywhere!
Yes, definitely need to make sure it has high ceilings! :) the gingerbreads are so nice. we love the cushions as they smell like gingerbreads!

I AM ACTUALLY CRYING. this is so cute I lost it at the new home 2020 ornament, beautiful job decorating guys!! Also we have some of the same taste!! I love textures and finishes on baubles they add so much character and elevates the ambience imo. also we have those exact tree scented ornaments!! it truly smells like a freshly cut tree! Also, TARGET is always the way!!! I have two faves baubles, the golden heart and the light up Disney one!
Decorating Day PlayxPlay- We're finally putting our tree up today, so this is good "light a fire" under me viewing. "Tree or other stuff?" John and I at the same time, "TREE!" That is one HECK of a tall tree and I'm living for it. You could pin one of your masks around a large ball and Sharpie it with the year, as a cute remembrance of 2020. Hello, pretty angel. When you store your tree, leave a few of the scent sticks in the tree and it'll smell good when you go to put it back up next year. I found out that trick by accident, LOL. I can NEVER make perfect swags like that, John. Your classic look is so nice. I'm afraid I have a fondness for adding kitsch. Your mirror? I'd have ended up adding spray on snow snowflakes using stencils, for I am a cheesy, cheesy girl. Hahaha! Be proud and enjoy your cozy holiday nest. Now, I'm off to light up the "Tree Farm" candle and to make space in the library for the tree.
Haha always start with the tree! It's truly the tree of both our dreams and I know we'll get many years of enjoyment from it. THAT is such a fun and funny idea re the mask ornament! We might just have to do that you know! Thank you also for the scent stick recommendation! No better smell than that fresh balsam tree smell! I def stocked up on candles this week from Bath and Body Works during their sale! Bet your home looks beautiful - enjoy every moment!

Wow 😍 i love it all so much. We have such similar tastes as I was thinking either neutral or rustic traditional next year once we've moved and have room for a bigger tree (We'd be dangerous on a shopping trip Kels!). You guys deserve the big tree after all your years in a small apartment. And the Disney gingerbread people, I want!
Ooh yessss! Love the sound of that! All trees, however they're decorated, have their own charm but there's something very calming and cozy about winter neutrals! We would be BEYOND dangerous shopping together! Thank you so much for being so sweet - this year makes all the little trees and tiny apartment celebrations so worth it!
@@KelsandJohn there really is. Even just a bare tree with lights is really cosy. We'd def have to leave Rob and John watching sport if we went shopping, although not baseball! As that could end in friendly arguments lol
It’s gorgeous! Loving your whole Christmas decor. You should get one of the wire bauble hangers to hang the light up Disney ornament on, I got one when we visited last year from Scotland. Think I found it in Michaels. It’s like a bauble stand. xx oh and I think my favourite ornaments are the light up one but also the gingerbread characters, ok that’s maybe technically 7 or 8 favourites hehe!

Oh my word, that tree! So beautiful. We use scent sticks for the tree too. I have a little slim 5 ft one this year. But it is up and shining bright. I hope they still have the gingerbread pillows in the Christmas store next summer, so cute x Happy Christmas xxx
