It's weird! I'm sure Most of Japanese been to Donki. From our perspective a lot of things like this are "normal things" But some how your video just makes it look more interesting and raised up the whole level!
OMG your video transitions are so seamless!! Love Donki - it's always SO crowded, but they have sooo many treasures! I think I went there at least 3 times on my last two week trip!
Thanks for a great video, Hannah. Looks like loads of fun, and a good place to stock up in too. What was the name of the station near the store? ( By the way, loved the shot through the basket as you walked around. Short, a fun angle, and changed up the perspective. Awesome!)
Thank you Hannah for your video! I really enjoyed your tour of the store. I find it interesting seeing what is available in stores and how people live in Tokyo. I like your editing and how you edit to the beat of the music. Good humor! Thumbs up!
ドンキ is my absolute fave. Always the best way to spend any left over yen at the end of a trip to Japan. Which exactly what I did about an hour ago. Back to Australia now. さよなら!
Your editing honestly gets better and better, it's really awesome to see how far you have come. But this only really supplements your amazing personality :)
5:49 Kodomono nomimono is for the children who want to pretend like they're drinking beer. That was my favourite when I was little. Whenever we had small celebration dinner or something I used to drink that. It's sparkling juice and tastes really good (also Indonesia has similar one called Tebs). I didn't know that they had wine version of kodomono nomimono!
You need to also check out Giga Daiso theres one near disney land in Funabashi and one on the western side of Tokyo in Machida But the Funabashi one is the biggest 8 floors of Daiso goodness
I definitely think these store tours are neat. You should also do a little apartment walk through! It looks like a small space but still well laid out for one person. Definitely seems less claustrophobic than some other apartments I’ve seen in Japan.
Didn't know they had a Mega Donki so I'm gonna check out the one in Shibuya next time I visit Japan. We have a Donki here in Honolulu but its selection of weird stuff is considerably less.
Hi Hannah: I like your videos. they are fun to watch. I have a question for you. How much do u need to travel or live in Japan? Could you possibly make a video about the cost in Japan? For example, food cost, living expenses, transportation cost, etc. That would be so helpful for people who plan to travel to Japan in the future. Keep up good works, thx.....
Some international shops(retail) and fastfood have different products that are seemingly "made for japan" hope you can feature some of those when you're on your downtime. Personally i think its a test bed (at least for fastfood) to see if the tast is a major draw, because i've seen the teriyaki burgers in other southeast asian countries...
My recommendation is Yotsuya and around there!! In Yotsuya, you can see many nice place!! Yotsuya is near of Houses of parliament,The imperial palace, supreme court Tsukiji fish market and Ginza!!👍 If you have much time to visit, plz come to Yotsuya!! 英語上手くなくてごめんね、、
Awsome vid! also i noticed your reading is super good! (although we all struggle with kanji) i hope one day to see a subbed video of you and the boyfriend speaking japanese lol ^^
I stayed opposite the main Donki in Nagoya three years in a row. Excellent place when you need extra underwear. To this I can attest. Bloody hell 4L of 25% Sake for 20€ I suspect it will be a bit rough though😁 It was very tempting to buy stuff I must admit but my suitcase and budget wouldn't let me. More out and about stuff please. Thank you. Also I have a live youtube show every saturday featuring jvloggers as guests. Would you be interested?😊
Hi just started following your channel! Thats a nice room set up you got there. I live in Japan too and its super small. Could you give us a tour of your place? :)
BTW, I was researching Kinosaki for an onsen trip when I stumbled upon a photo on Instagram of a bunch of people sitting at a table. One of them had purple hair like your thumbnail. I swear it was you haha.
THEY HAVE TIM TAM'S!?!?!?! IS MY LIFE AS AN AUSTRALIAN JUST A LIE!?!? when we have been to japan (twice now!), we keep leaving packets of tim tams as presents (Omiage!) for our AirBnb hosts.
Thank you for taking me to this store! It was so cool to see what stores look like in other part of the world!
It's weird! I'm sure Most of Japanese been to Donki. From our perspective a lot of things like this are "normal things" But some how your video just makes it look more interesting and raised up the whole level!
This is a great video! I enjoy seeing what the shops are like all over the world. Thanks for all of your great content.
Don Quijote is the best! Can't wait to see what kind of stuff I will find there this year when I go to Japan in about a month. 👍
OMG your video transitions are so seamless!! Love Donki - it's always SO crowded, but they have sooo many treasures! I think I went there at least 3 times on my last two week trip!
That smile you made just after your "happy new couch dance" was, i think, the happiest i've ever seen you 😄 6:28

Oooo damn. That’s a wonderful idea! Thank you! I love cheap things!
I definitely think these store tours are neat. You should also do a little apartment walk through! It looks like a small space but still well laid out for one person. Definitely seems less claustrophobic than some other apartments I’ve seen in Japan.
Yeah I’ve been thinking about doing that at some point! I love my little apartment :)
Would love to see a video on how you've learnt Japanese!
That video will definitely be coming up soon!
It would be great if you posted more videos about japan. Like market, restaurants etc.
Didn't know they had a Mega Donki so I'm gonna check out the one in Shibuya next time I visit Japan. We have a Donki here in Honolulu but its selection of weird stuff is considerably less.

Finally a Don Quijote video!
Don Quijote is life.
More store tours please
Love these! Can you post more about shopping in Japan?
You should totally visit Daikanyamachō, Shibuya!
They plan to open stores in overseas.
take a moment to appreciate the EDITING in the beginning
Wow! Remember going to that exact same store to buy a whole new (cheap) outfit for my daughter after she spilt juice all over herself. A life saver.
Hey Hannah, you should try the Fuunji ramen in Shinjuku.
Loved this so interesting to see
Wanted to know what the apartment shopping process was like? How did you find an apartment? Also the best areas for reasonable rent.
love this video! I was wondering, do you have to pay the items per floors or can you pay all in once at the floor you want?
i really like how you edited your video !!
5:07不覚にも笑った。 これ被って買い物する人って尊敬しちゃう。
This was some great editing!
I like to stop at Donki and load up on Kit Kats to bring back as souvenirs
Would love to see food hauls ☺️
Omg I loved that shop when I lived there
本八幡まで歩いて15分位ですがMEGAドン・キホーテ あるの知りませんでした今度行ってみます。ありがと!
Thanks Hannah
New subscriber here. I love the unique style of your vlog and drone shots compare to other travel vloggers . Keep vlogging 😀
❤️
So awesome you can actually read Japanese too! Not many gaikokujins go to that effort.
5:07 Lol so cute tho😂
Hannah, what are you top 5 favourite foods to eat in Japan? Could you show us some? :)
Can I recommend the BEST EVER laundry washing liquid? It's called Lavons - Champagne Moon
i really loved your onigiri hat lol
congrats on your new couch
Thanks man. It was well needed!
My recommendation is Yotsuya and around there!! In Yotsuya, you can see many nice place!! Yotsuya is near of Houses of parliament,The imperial palace, supreme court Tsukiji fish market and Ginza!!👍

Oh, you don't know how much I will be shopping at the 100¥ shop ;^;
*Yeah, when I grow up hopefully :c*
Awsome vid! also i noticed your reading is super good! (although we all struggle with kanji) i hope one day to see a subbed video of you and the boyfriend speaking japanese lol ^^
Thanks! Maybe I will one day. I think I’d feel more comfortable speaking Japanese on RUclips than I would with Yosshi though 😂😂😂 I dunno why!
Best bargain shopping!!!!!
When will you sell merch of mochi that says "yeah!"?
I just assumed it was katakana for Don Quixote. Very funny book(s), I recommend it.
Yeah I think it is! Online I found both spelling with a J and an X so maybe they’re interchangeable?
Probably! It's 400 years old and Spanish but I think you're pronouncing it correctly :)
いつも楽しみにしてます!
Love the hat!
I liked this content 👍
I love that hat😁
Soooo close to 30k.
Which month is best to visit Japan ?
I stayed opposite the main Donki in Nagoya three years in a row. Excellent place when you need extra underwear. To this I can attest. Do you have to checkout each floor or can you roam each floor with items and checkout at once?
No you can just fill your basket and buy it all at the end!
I wanted to see what you bought 😭😭😭
Hi just started following your channel! Thats a nice room set up you got there. I live in Japan too and its super small. Could you give us a tour of your place? :)
We need MOAR Yossshi
日本語読めてすごいです!
What are you filming this video with ..?.
could you do a Japanese home tour? :)
3:29 189 yen Tim Tams! I hope you bought some.
3:54 Polish spirit, very strong.
In Japan, you need to install "application" in your kitchen >_
BTW, I was researching Kinosaki for an onsen trip when I stumbled upon a photo on Instagram of a bunch of people sitting at a table. One of them had purple hair like your thumbnail. I swear it was you haha.
Hahaha that was my boyfriend’s photo and yes that was me in the picture! Hah
whoooooooaaaaaaaaaa ... that's so random! haha Did you enjoy Kinosaki? It looks great. I was trying to decide between there and a ryokan in Kaga.
Hahaha a small world of social media!
Yeah I loved Kinosaki! So many amazing Onsens and great food!
