Hey, I moved on a Working Holiday Visa for the purpose of exploring Japan more. This specific visa doesn't require people to have a job before they can enter and reside in Japan but you do need to be between the ages of 18-30 when you apply. I work freelance for oversea clients and I don't speak/understand much Japanese yet, but I'm currently self-learning!
First off, it will be a long process to get a citizenship. Secondly, you have to abandon your other citizenship as Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship.

Yeah the main purpose is not to work 'too' much but enough to fund your traveling/exploring. But there really are no limitations (compared to a student visa) to how much you can actually work once you're here from what I know now
