@Our_America 71000. Make sure to flush transmission. Not change but flush to get all contaminated oil out. Try to get service records. Hope it works out for you. I'm 100% pleased with my Honda sir.
As a mechanic myself, I have a 2013 civic 1.8L automatic transmission, best car I ever had. I also recommend the Toyota Camry and Corolla and even Subaru.
@@50toinfinityatleast Is it just the dashboard lighting? There is a setting on the menu that lets you change the dashboard lighting color. Mine is set to blue. I hate red lighting as you night think that there's a problem when there isn't one.
My 2012 1.8 AT is currently 173.000 km. engine mounting starting to break , electrical issues , bearings , steering rack , power window , and rattling interior . Engine and transmission still running perfect .
I like the ‘12-15’ look. Just sold a 1.8L today for $7200. 80K original miles with a rebuild title that I did all repairs myself (Deer). Literally not a thing wrong with it mechanically. A year ago I would have gotten $8200. Car sales definitely dropping in the mid-west.
My 2012 ex coupe is shy of 400k miles, no christmas lights, all stock And that Tpms is annoying lol. My factory torque converter is starting to grind too.. I don’t do the crazy coffee crash cars stuff lol Other than that, these things are real gems.
I'm still with my 2011 8th gen civic coupe with 100,000 miles on it now. Recently had the passenger side mount replaced and some maintenance done. It was expensive but preferable to buying a new one.
when it does break, it's a pain to work on the engine. Even with small hands I still had problems. 3 instances of "dreaded weird hand position screwing"
yes definitely i had a malibu before and i definitely find more power in the civic you need to push it a little more than cruise speed but thats normal i find its definitely a great highway vehicle just avoid large trucks the aerodynamics of it can be a little funny but again thats normal too for a small car
Around 2019 all my plastic and rubber trim dried out from the sun. Had to replace. Window seals and window weather stripping. Right off the bat I noticed my transmission case cracked. I don't know where cracks came from but they are not threatening. Looks like a bad cast or forge. Power windows are shit too. Motor is failing after 100,000 miles and the window guides dried out and roll up and down super slowly. At 130,000 cvt sensor washer popped out all cvt leaked out had to replace the washer. Honda mechanic told me it's a common problem. He said I got lucky I paid attention if I was more clueless I could have blown up my transmission like the 2015 crv that was in the shop also because of the same problem. Somewhere at 130-140,000 Rear shocks blew up total failure. Front struts failed. Various engine mounts failed. These things cause insane vibrations. Had to fix it all. At 150,000. Car is just hanging in there. It shakes everything creaks and jitters. I can tell it was meant to be driven lots in a short period rather than long term.
Very well done sir. I just purchased 2015 civic EXL. I'm very pleased.
Me going look for it tomorrow same 2015 ex-l. How many miles do you have on vehicle? Does it give you Ny problem so far?
I just bought a 2015 exl in upstate ny and I love it had 119k on it

Help. I just got a 2014 used civic SI. The dashboard lights over by the IV tech, etc. are all red and I don’t know why. Any ideas?

Hello, do you recommend the 2015 Civic EX coupe?

Oh theres a timing chain in my 202 1.8?
Yes my brother it’s a timing chain, not a belt. It will be easier to replace. My 2012 Honda Civic LX has a timing chain.
Does the lx have enough merging and passing power on highways?

Have 2010 civic stick with 163,000
Whats a good price for a 2012 EX-L with 150k miles?
depends where you live, do your research.
Stay away from the auto CVTs mine just went out and it's a 7 thousand dollar fix where I live.

Where did you go to replace the rubber trim and plastic? Is that a body shop or a repair shop?
I use silicone spray on mine like new never garaged full synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles
Buy hybrid version and forget most of this problems
You are crazy battery is way more expensive
