Totally agree. Love the way this whole thing was shot an edited! So much fun and fits Rick's personality to a T! And I am digging the updated blue nails!
and the freakin emmy goes to Rick and the crew!!!!! Good lord yes the food looked delicious but this vid was so perfectly recorded, edited, CONSTRUCTED!
1) Serranos are my favorite chile. I will sub them for jalapenos in a lot of recipes. 2) I love all guacamole. 3) I recently discovered queso Chihuahua and I'm in love with it! I'm considering divorcing mozzarella.
Rick and Sohla are precious gems. Now they can really let their amazing talents shine bright, bright, BRIGHT!! Such amazing chefs that have amazing and incredible imaginations and creativity! Another recipe I'm drooling at, Rick. Gracias! I feel on vacation when watching Rick's videos.
I have been watching more of Rick's videos than ever, and I gotta say just the entrance alone was absolutely fantastic! I also love how he profiled getting his nails done. Super cool!
Ah yes, finally a carne asada recipe. These tacos are so easy to find here in Tucson, I certainly take it for granted whenever I'm out of town. The meat and marinade are so versatile outside of tacos and burritos, too. It's so good in an omelette, stir fried noodles, or some fried rice.
Going to Mazatlán over Christmas for my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary! It's so cool to recognize some of the backgrounds in these videos. Does kika do acrylics? Your nails look BOMB. Totally going to try this recipe!
Rick is hands down one of my favorite chefs to watch. Very engaging, extremely knowledgeable, a wonderful perspective and sense of humor, and so relatable but like someone you aspire to relate to. Also, Rick's personal style is just awesome. Always a pleasure when a new Sweet Heat episode comes out - I save it to watch on a day when I can savor the moment.
Brilliant from start to finish ... this just made me happy. And wow ... the way the ribeye is sliced thin. I need to figure out how to do that or how to get my store meat department to do that! Can't wait to try the recipe. Can't wait for another Sweet Heat episode!!!
It's so funny because here in México (or at least at the butchers I go), they can't fathom the idea of a cut thicker than 3 cm (1.something inch), it's like "are you sure? it won't cook...". But they do it eventually
so in 20 yrs of watching food tv i dont think ive ever heard someone explain what it means to, cut against the grain, or why you should do it. THANK YOU!
Living for it! I don't understand how it looks like he's getting acrylics, but at the end he looks like he has natural nails. Did he just have them cut down to look short?
I’m from the northern state of Sonora Mexico and let me tell you guys, we take our meat seriously. We are known for having the best meat and you haven’t lived until you eat carne asada from Sonora!
I have SEVERE ADHD and I just want everyone to know that I can watch Rick cooking stuff all day no problem. I wish I was one of his nephews so I could go to a family gthering and just eat the stuff that he makes.
Absolutely fabulous Senor! Looks so tasty. Would love a tour of your home, glimpses of your beautiful kitchen floor suggest the rest is colourful as well
Arggghhhh! Why do I torture myself so?! I *love* watching Rick cook; it makes me salivate soooo much. But I love in northern England and can't get the ingredients to make these delicious dishes myself.
the drama....the outfit....the nails..... now THAT'S an entrance
I love how they let Rick be as extra as he wishes. THE SUGAR MAN CANNOT BE CONTAINED
The entrances keep getting better and better!
Totally agree. Love the way this whole thing was shot an edited! So much fun and fits Rick's personality to a T! And I am digging the updated blue nails!

Finally! The nails get their own segment.
Nice to have a producer who is responding to what the people in the comments want!
That. Looks. Incredible.
Also, found out Rick has his nails done professionally. I had always wondered, and now I know.

You can’t beat Real authentic Mexican cooking. Spices spices spices
I love this guy so much. Drooling over these tacos and HIS NAILS. More Rick, please.
Rick is an absolute superstar in the making. Top tier style and charisma... with such solid creative content.
He is easily the biggest bloom of the lovely flowers who departed BA. And I adore Sohla.
I enjoyed the nail scene. This is so cool.
Love love love love love love LOVE this. So happy to see Rick thriving like this.
This presentation is absolutely award worthy. 👏👏👏 Mouth is watering so much I might drown.

Totally going to try this recipe!
Best episode yet. Keep going this direction.
How does this only have 22k views!! The Recipe, the production quality, Rick, the music...
Your videos get better and better! I love how your personality and sense of fun is just shining through.
Your food, and your nails, bring me joy!
I love the nail interlude!
Rick's sassiness and the editor's work are as amazing as the recipe itself, thank you!

Everything about this chef is phenomenal!
I cooked this for a friend's birthday today and it was INCREDIBLE! Thank you for teaching me such an amazing dish.
Let's go, another episode of Sweet Heat!
I am loving this series of videos, Rick!! It is simultaneously calming AND exciting, plus educational and fun. Thank you so much!!
The dramatic entrance was all I needed. THUMBS UP!

@@minacd I am probably going to get the same "are you sure?" when I ask for a very thin cut :)
Find a local butcher.
Carneceria or traditional English butcher
This episode was fierce in all the best ways!
so in 20 yrs of watching food tv i dont think ive ever heard someone explain what it means to, cut against the grain, or why you should do it. THANK YOU!
If I were rich enough to have any chef cook for me, it'd be Rick. Everything looks like art. Delicious, delicious art.
Thanks Rick!!! This reminded me of family gatherings we USE to have!!! Take care!
The creativity and editing keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait for a Rick cookbook 🤯
I love the style of this video. It has so much character and was totally fun.
I'm really enjoying the new opening montages! Also, I don't have aprons but you make me want to get a few!
This episode is SO MUCH MORE EXTRA than most episodes and I'm here for it.
I just stumbled upon this video/channel. The entrance, food and comedy. Man. I been missing out.
living for this nail colour!
Everything Ricky makes is amazing and gets me excited about cooking!
I don’t even eat meat but Rick makes everything look divine!
This recipe would still be good with just veggies, cheese and guac!
Ooh, I’m loving the veggie/cheese melt. That would make a great taco filling all by itself.
I feel like hanging with Rick would be an absolute trip.
yesssss everything about this was great
An incredible episode with both the food and the cinematic aspects! Well done.
Best cooking show on RUclips. Ever. Even Daz from AGV is sweating rn.
Love the break to showcase the gorgeous nails!
Living for it! I don't understand how it looks like he's getting acrylics, but at the end he looks like he has natural nails. Did he just have them cut down to look short?
Up here in Central Wisconsin, winter is the best time to grill out...

Rick is one of my fave food content creators on yt tbh
This guacamole looks so good!
Wonderful violin music during the salsa prep!

This video made me think I was starving, it made me so very hungry. I must hurry to the store!
Rick es el Sr. Picante... la comida, las uñas, las camisas, ¡el hombre!
¡Solo come tacos más grandes que tu cabeza!
I live in Mexico I love your channel! This recipe looks incredible
beautiful nails, amazing looking dish i'd love to try. Keep it up, Rick!

I just love Rick so much.
I had to like this right after the entrance. Amazing❣️
Rick, you are welcome to come teach me how to cook better tacos any day. Always delicious looking stuff.
Okay this is my new favourite Sweet Heat episode 💙🌈

Same but I was very into the tomato cheese mix, that could be my whole veggie taco 🤤
Just made the cheesy salsa and it is amazing. How I am going to top all my tacos or burritos at home now.
