Rick's up and down on three from the water was the best scrambling I have seen from him in a long time.
Of all the Good Good versus matches, this is the one I was looking forward to the most. Such a great match. Rick scrambled so well out of some incredibly tough breaks. Loving this series with Good Good. Thanks to both Rick and Good Good for this epic collaboration!
Next year(or preferably sooner) I'd love to see Rick hop the pond to do it the other way around! What great content, always immediately looking forward to the next one!

I’ll tell ya what. RUclips golf has become next level. I don’t even watch or keep up with professional golf any longer. I love the self analysis and golf fellowship. It’s pretty incredible actually.
Consistency is probably the most underrated strength in golf, just behind paying for the first beer at the clubhouse.
One thing to good good lads do (along with good videos) is their attitude and positivity. Loving the connection they have with the game of golf. Class!

What I love about every one of the good good guys is that they genuinely want you to do well and are just as disappointed for you if you hit a bad one.

The 3 Good Good lads are a different level (as we knew), and they all hit the ball miles. Rick never stood chance without strokes.
Rick can play too, it's Golf. Day to day anything to happen, especially in matches that are 9 holes like these channels usually play.
@@UFBear15 no doubt. but some of these lads touch 180mph ball speed with driver. which is insane bc rick carrie’s driver 280 yards
Yeah Micah and Matt play all their clubs extremely long. Grant and Garrett are extremely consistent.
@@UFBear15 Rick is no where near as consistent and good as Grant: guy breaks 80 one every 4 weeks. Come on! And for a PGA pro he needs to learn the diffeeence between a pull/hook and a draw: it’s ridiculous he plays his standard pull/hook off as a draw. Draws start right of target and end on target not start on target and end left a mile of target
@Patrick S you're mostly right but Rick normally breaks 80 each time, it's the breaking of 75 that's normally the issue

I think the reason he’s considered the best is he’s the most consistent. When the other two are on, I think they win, but Grant is just like clockwork
Yes, he is consistent in a very good way, i mean a bad day for Grant he probably still beat most players. And stay around 1-2 over par. But i must say that Micah are pretty consistent aswell. Its Garrett that are more of a wild card, but its just because in scramble he usually goes for it everytime, and takes higher risk while his partner need to play it safe. Garrett biggest weakness is his driver. His chipping are probably PRO level. And his approach game is almost that good aswell. Grants weakness before was his putting, which he clearly have fixed, he might be the best putter in Goodgood atm. And probably the best player right now.
@@d1sco8 Grant can shoot 2 OR 3 under if Tig and Grant on a crazy day will shoot 5 under or even more under

@@OhSheaPoker Grant can go just as low. He holds a course record IIRC. But it's out of his norm. He's a 68-70 per round kinda guy. T and G probably go 66-68 when they go low but they also blow up a lot higher.
Give me grants game. The consistency is disgusting for a non-Tour player.
Micah is the best, imo. Grant, 2nd.
I don’t usually comment on youtube but Rick Shiels your youtube videos have helped me drop an average of 15 strokes off my game since I first started playing again 6 months ago. And this content with the break 75s and your recent matches with good good golf have been super entertaining and really got me through the months after my cancer surgery this year when I was held up in the house not able to do much and then helped me fall back in love with the game so thank you for consistently bringing us great content! Hope to see it for a long time to come.

Rick, I just happened to find a video a couple months ago and instantly became a subscriber. I've been golfing on and off for 35+ years. Never had lessons...and it showed. Through watching your videos I've learned how to properly grip a club, properly swing the driver, properly swing the iron, and on and on. Today I experienced an EAGLE for the first time ever!!! Thank you for such excellent videos.

This is partly why I think LIV golf has a chance. People just want to watch some Interesting golf. LIV can try things the PGA never would.
The first strp towards recovery is admitting your problem. Rick, mate...its time to recognise that 'draw' you try to work around the course is a dead hook. take it from a slicer under treatment...That said, your chipping has come on in LEAPS and BOUNDS bruv!! Great to see the confidence around the dance floor.
Yeah all the JCB content and the last couple of break 75s have been a little painful. I know exactly where his irons are going before he has hit them - left.

I must say that these GoodGood videos are without any doubt the best content Rick has ever done. And specially the Bubbie video. I just love banter, wildness of Bubbie with so much advice from Micah, who is by far the best "Caddie" and mind in GoodGood. And Grant is obv so great to watch, he is an amazing player.. On a diff note, the day Rick gets back to the sim and works on deadoning his draw he overcooks 80% of the time is the day his game hits that other level. I watch most of Ricks vids and im honestly more surprised when he doesnt overcook it than when he does.

I just shot 2 under(70) today, on my home course, and Grant is on a whole other level than me. I would be happy to shoot 75 there. What a player! This collab is so fun to watch. Don’t feel ashamed Rick. Grant, Micah, and GRat are absolute studs. Their distance, ball striking, and short games are just a treat to watch. Love it.

I think Grant is most consistent for sure, but Rat is a better golfer when he is on.

I’ve pretty much watched all of the content from this collab.. the amount of blind fairway shots on this course seems ridiculous! Every drive is just looking at an aiming point and hoping that the ball lands in the fairway.. extremely difficult and you all played great!! Awesome content brochacho’s
Definitely an interesting course from a content standpoint. There doesn't seem to be many easy, straightforwards shots.
The swing and sound at 26:20 is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed.

Grant consistency is unbelievable. He said it him self this round that he miss hit a lot of shots but he was still able to make those pars. The thing I see with his game is when he does have his misses they still good misses and leaves himself with a shot that is not impossible to make.

These matches have been so fun to watch. Grant played very well and Rick is a scrambling machine. These matches have totally fueled my soul to get out there and play some golf. This content is just epic and really puts you on the course with you guys. I cannot wait for the next one. Although I am a bit saddened by not seeing Guy in any of the competitions... Had to give Guy a shout out too..LOL
I could watch this kind of matchup every week.
What a fantastic piece of golf entertainment, I really have enjoyed the enthusiasm, sportsmanship and quality of the Good Good boys. These guys can play, and Rick has given them an excellent platform to grow their channel. Brilliant series.

Yeah, this comment has been made a lot but what does he gain really from a content perspective beating him with shots? Not really good for his brand either to be honest.
@@philobeddoe5214 just seen your comment. I don't really see how swallowing your pride and taking a couple shots would affect his brand. He never portrays himself as a +handicap/scratch player. He admits he's probably off around 3 or 4 on many videos. There's no shame in taking a couple shots.
