The sublime Barbara Murray was at the height of her beauty in the late 60s - early 70s. Right after this series she starred in the rather similar sitcom His and Hers, which I am hoping will one day surface on RUclips.
Apparently first episode of S1 was released by Network in 2006 as an extra on the 'Please Sir! - The Complete Second Series' DVD. First series was still b/w at the beginnings of LWT, the second with Murray replacing Nyree Dawn Porter, in colour - as here
Ah, silly me, you're right! Although Network, who was known for their risk-taking, did not end up releasing a full set of all the remaining episodes of this, as they actually did do with other "spin-off" and "related" shows they had initially featured as "extras" on releases of more-known shows.
The good old days or what was left of them of men with glorious manes of hair. I miss that! Men - not men who are fake women. There were so many cool wallpapers back in the 50s to 70s but the newspaper ones I too couldn't stand!😂
Love Barbara Murray and never heard of this. What a treat. Many thanks for uploading!
My sentiments exactly, same !
Unusual to see these usually serious actors in comedy roles. Another great rarity
Barbara Murray played Ammonia in the 1971 comedy film "Up Pompeii"....
Wow what a gem, this must be very rare.
Loved Barbara ( with Richard Greene) in Tales From The Crypt.
Thank you.❤

Another rare show that fell off the Network radar. Thanks for uploading! 🤗

I think Sue Lloyd was the original 'Dierdre' in series 1, rather than Nyree Dawn Porter
Fabulously rare show ! Many thanks - You don't have any editions of the Harry H Corbett comedy "The Best Things in Life ' from 1969/70
No, sorry
@@ClassicBritishTelly One of my holy Grails - so annoying when it exists in ITV's archives - Thanks for your superb uploads by the way!

Will there be more episodes?
Is this colourised
No, but shot on very early colour cameras
