I'm 54 and also use a lot of your beauty/makeup techniques, even before I happened upon your channel, Let me just say, I love watching your videos because they're so relaxing. It's like therapy for me! So, yes, while I share a lot of your tips in common because I do them myself as a woman in her 50s, I love your videos because your voice is so soothing and pleasant! Thank you for being such a breath of fresh air.

I have never used foundation, as I didn't really need it, but recently tried it, and I couldn't get it off my face fast enough! I just found your videos, and I can't wait to try the products, and methods you have shown here! I am so grateful for your candor and knowledge! You are a gem and so kind to give each of us such lovely lessons on caring for ourselves! If you could sometime, might you please do a lesson on the under eyes and how to minimize wrinkles. I have started to put my foundation on immediately whilst my moisturiser is still damp. With a sponge it is then undetectable as long as I don't wait for the moisturiser to sink in. My skin then looks flawless not bad at 66 x

I have been using elf prreless face primer... it feels like an oil going on, but I do notice my foundation goes on a little smoother. But I’m gonna try all the above products because I have such self-consciousness about the wrinkles around my mouth, dry patchy spots that might be psoriasis around my hairline and a total cakey look.

Hello there :) I watched your videos about eyes, cheeks and now, foundation...loved them all! I've always looked young for my age but I saw your "do and don't" for eyes over 50 and was curious about what I may be doing wrong, what I could glean and I wanted to evolve for when I am. Your trick about stopping before the last outer lashes when applying eyeliner was, literally, eye opening. Never contoured a day in the history of 'me' but I suspect I'm not going to pull that off for much longer. I've been taking notes on pretty much everything you've said. I didn't know primer would be so important, I appreciate all the product line tips and suggestions. Thank you! :)

I love these foundations and stumbled upon them about 10 years ago. I also love the Graftobian ones. And you can mix them too to get the right consistency and colour. If the wax is a little tricky at first to work with, try adding a drop of your favourite face oil to blend it out and sheer it and experiment like that. Sheer the product out around your eyes - and I cannot emphasize the importance of using retinols / retin-a for wrinkle prevention and resolution. I'm closer to 50 than 40 and I love saying that to people and watching their jaw drop. I've been using Retin-a since I was 26 and my dermatologist says my skin is at least 10 years younger than my chronological age and that I don't even have any fine lines, no crows feet and she knows I have nothing "in" my face as I won't let anyone but her touch it. I had dramas when I was younger with micro-dermabrasion and lasers which were too aggressive for my skin and just created extreme breakouts for my skin. I just stick with Retin-a and pure peptides. Once your skin acclimates to Retin=a it will love it and you'll love the results. I have fine and fair skin so my derm tells me to just stick with the 0.05, although I have played around with the higher strength without too much peeling and redness. Eventually you can get to mixing a tiny drop of Retin-a with your eye cream and using it all around your eyes, but don't rush this otherwise you will burn and irritate your skin and you'll get mad and blame the product.
My older sister has always accused me of plastic surgery, in particular having an eye lift but I swear I have not and I'd be too scared to have surgery on my face. My eyelids have not dropped and despite always being sleep deprived I don't have eyebags or troughs. I've had to have too many legit surgeries to want to go through any unnecessary procedures.
Anyways, sorry for the long post. I love your channel and your energy and you always look amazing xxx

I prefer pressing in, and stippling foundation into my skin, rather than brisk buffing as you demonstrated, since it's likely to stir up texture on occasion..I'm normal to dry complexion and try to exfoliate once or twice per week. Just prefer to treat skin on face more gently than all of that buffing.. I just don't want to take a chance.

Just wondering if you have ever used organic, vegan and non-toxic makeup? have you ever done or thought of doing a video on organic natural makeup? I am transitioning to less toxic ingredients and more sustainable products. Would love to hear your thoughts on this topic.

Hi. You are so amazing with such a beautiful personality. I so badly want to try the wax make up but it doesn't ship to the US. Do you happen to know a way to go around that? Thank you. Love all your videos. Very inspiring ❤️

I am 68 years old. I was wondering about foundations. If you use a liquid foundation, should all the rest of your face makeup be gels, creams, you stay with cream, gel pencils, etc. If you use a powder foundation, should you use powder blush, concealers, etc.? I’m having a problem with the concealer settling in wrinkles and powder shadows falling in creases. I need some guidelines as far as choosing powders and liquids.

You have amazing skin and some really good tips for women over 50. I will be turning 51 in August. Everyone tells me that I definitely don't look my age, but still, I can't really believe it. As a Hydration Coach, I believe it is really important to stay hydrated because dehydration causes oxidation in the body, and oxidation causes inflammation and it really shows up in our skin in the form of wrinkles, which ages us twice as fast. It really makes our skin look more youthful and alive to drink plenty of the right kind of water. Because I have found out that all water is not created equal. So, imagine being hydrated before implementing these tips. The results would be AMAZING! If you could only implement one of the tips you talked about in the video, which one would that be?

Wow I never heard of a hydration coach. Interesting. What water do you recommend? I have an Alexa Pure water pitcher.

@@ItCantRainForever2 I recommend Hydrogen and Antioxidant-rich water. If you are interested in more info I can help you with that. It is amazing, to say the least.

@@michellesouthern2488 yeah it's probably the best but too pricey for me. I would be a reverse osmosis filter if I could afford it.

Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this foundation video. I have deep wrinkles under and around the eyes and everything I have ever bought settles into the wrinkles...even my tinted sunscreen. I think investing in a Kabuki brush is what I need to do that extra blending. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs....Sherry

Love your tips and tricks. I love makeup and I think I do a good job with it but I never know what to do to really get that polished look for a special occasion. Both my kids are getting married this spring and summer and I’m wondering what you think really makes you photo ready. Or what do we do as mother of the groom to keep looking fresh for the whole time during a wedding and reception. I’m most concerned about the one in July, it will be very hot, mostly outside. I’m 56. Also what do you do to touch up with out redoing makeup?

Hi Vicki Zeimen! How exciting having 2 weddings in one year...follow all these tips for very long lasting makeup and decant a small amount of foundation, blush and lipstick in your bag to freshen up during the day...I mention how to do this at the end of the video....❤️

Hi Shellea! I'm in Venice, Florida! Just started doing some workouts with you, & I'm enjoying "having you in my life," so to speak. Cruelty-free is important to me, I don't want to put anything on me that some poor little creature had to suffer through needless lab testing! When you mention a product, would you be willing to share if it's cruelty-free? I know many are, but what about embryolisse?
