    Thanks for the great video. Figured out my problem with some other videos but could not have changed the crank sensor without this video! Worked like a charm and now the truck starts right up. Hardest part is the AC compressor and that wasn't too bad. Did need another person to hold it out of the way in order to get the sensor re-installed. A little over $30 for the part, tax included. Thanks again.

    I have a 2006 F-150 5.4 2wd. Changed out the Camshaft positioning sensors and still runs rough. Would the next thing be to change out the Crankshaft sensor? I had advance put the scanner on it when it started running rough and fault said camshaft or crankshaft sensor. So went with the easiest one first.

    1998 E250 5.4L van engine Has been running fine. Twice in the last 3 weeks, when I went to start it, the engine fired up on the first crank, but within a second it kicked back and did not continue to run. I tried to crank it over 3 more times but the engine didn't move like it was hydraulically locked up. Waited 20 minutes and it started and ran fine. Would this sensor do that or something else?

      @@1AAuto So, I just finished this job, but for the life of me could not get the connector to "snap" onto the new part. I actually thought I had a slightly wrong part and got a different one from a local auto parts store and visually compared them, and same thing. I tried squeezing the clip and everything. I ended up just using the flat part of a ratchet and firmly pushed it into place. Not sure if it snapped in or not, but the car runs fine now. The old part had a black film over the metal part of the sensor.

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  5 лет назад

      +youtoobe169 Thanks for the update! We are glad to hear you got the new part installed. As long as you secured it down with the bolt, there shouldn't be any issues with the replacement part.
