It's like this game was tailor made for Splat. A million ways to mod your weapon - check. A million ways to explore and loot - check. A million ways to blow stealth in the first minute and go ham - check.
I'm a huge fan of the first game and I highly recommend playing that first if you're unfamiliar with the series, as it's great all by itself. Glad to see the sequel is looking even better! I seriously love the style of this game.
This looks outstanding. It really picks up where Hotline Miami lacks. Of course the HM story was outstanding, but I really love the idea of picking loadouts and cusomizing weapons. I'm a loot goblin like Splat.
If you like this game then you'd probably like that stealth game where you have a squad of soldiers and you pick each of their moves then watch them all play out. Then it stops and you pick their moves again. It's almost liked a turn based rts where you clear buildings and rescue hostages and stuff. I don't remember it's name, but that should be enough info to help you figure it out. It looks pretty sweet. It seems tough though and you've gotta have a decent level of knowledge to succeed in the game. Or so it seems. The dude I watched play it had some real life knowledge in cqb situations that he used in game to help him be more successful. You have fog of war unlike in this game so you can't see where enemies are hiding or what areas they might be watching. You've just gotta move your troops in an intelligent manner to try and cover your blinds spots and hit enemies quickly and safely while not putting your troops in danger. The enemies can catch you through windows or fences that have space between them and things like that that you gotta watch out for. It seems super in depth and fun to play. You should check it out if you haven't.
@@ziggedr4y Frozen Synapse was sooo good. The sequel could have been good too with a bit more time in the oven but the dev's ended development I'm guessing. Not sure what they've been up too since.
Splat, you should check out "The Cub", it comes out in a few days and the demo is already out. It's a sequel (or prequel) to the indie game Golf Club Nostalgia. The demo was pretty cool. Has a really unique look and story.
7:54 I've gone frame-by-frame and I still don't quite understand how that 1st guy goes flying forward into the wall. It's like the game processed the 2nd guy kicking an invisible door into the back of him...and he got shot at the same time. What a day.
From a game dev perspective. The second npc, call him Phil, basically got a breech command queued before it reached the door, the other NPC, Frank, opened the door normally. Phil reaches the location and carries out the breech and knockback effect in a specific area despite the door already being open.
Very similar to zero sievert, that i've seen few days ago, this one looks much better in many ways, not only it looks on another level of graphic, but it doesnt waste time on useless resource management and focus on the fun thing, the actual mission. I might try the first one while I wait for the second
someone should make a gameplay of this game but like hotline miami, very little stealth like hiding in corners or no stealth at all and play M.O.O.N - Hydrogen on top of it
Cool. Door Kickers 2 is another game sorta like this. It's odd that there is no fog of war for the player in this though. You can see them even when your character shouldn't be able to. There's probably a harder mode that changes that I guess.
Yes, you can quick save. This is a prequel to the next game, and has a lot of new elements. If you like this type of gameplay, I highly recommend the forst game, it's a lot of fun.
LOL doesn't look like you completed the first game, this is a game that rewards clever thinking and weapon selection. That first pistol has to be reloaded after every shot, but its the quietest weapon in the game. Stealth does mean "no one saw you drop everyone in the level". The art style and interactive elements are a big update over the first game. Great video
I realize you're sticking to a format, I wish you'd just recording when playing games that you like. It's kind of a bummer wanting to see more, and knowing you play more, but not actually getting to experience it.
I also wanted to thank you for your coverage on all of these games. I would not know about many of them without you. I meant no offense by my previous comment. The thought just struck me when you expressed how much you were enjoying the game, and would like to play more. As an audience member, I can get on board with that. It sucks that you don't get to play games these for your own enjoyment. That in itself is a big bummer.
Standard Splat stealth here. As you said during your intro, if there's nobody left alive at the end of a level no alarm can be raised.
It's like this game was tailor made for Splat. A million ways to mod your weapon - check. A million ways to explore and loot - check. A million ways to blow stealth in the first minute and go ham - check.
I played Intravenous 1, didn't know there's sequel . That's cool. Thanks for showing us this
This is just the free prequel to Intravenous 2 which releases later this year :)
It's out now
@@AhbibHaald yup, I'm already playing it. It's significant upgrade from first part. My recommendation
@@mr.lonewolf8199mercenaries and the first game is coming to 2 soon which is awesome owo
@16:10 it's really cool that they double up on their room sweeps so that you can't easily take them out one by one!
In the full game they can occupy rooms and hold out against you too :3
I'm a huge fan of the first game and I highly recommend playing that first if you're unfamiliar with the series, as it's great all by itself.

Hearing your laughter during the start of your second run says it all about how good this game is Splat :P
I agree! That was some contagious laughter 😊.
The cackle he gave when he iced hat first guy with the suppressed pistol told me everything I needed to know haha
agreed
This looks outstanding. It really picks up where Hotline Miami lacks. Of course the HM story was outstanding, but I really love the idea of picking loadouts and cusomizing weapons. I'm a loot goblin like Splat.
8:30 might have been the most sincere laugh I've heard from you yet lol I love it
The guy on the Start Screen looks like Pedro Pascal searching for a magical Baby
lol
When the man goes over 30 minutes, you know it's a good game for sure. This looks awesome.
Looks really cool, near the end there the animation of the guy trying to stand ooof, awesome.
that timing on the outro bro
I've been waiting on my email for the playtest, and I forgot about it. This video reminded me and now I've got it on steam, thanks!

Doorkickers 2. You were probably watching karmakut, drewski, or one of their friends. For sci-fi spin with some pvp there is the older frozen synapse.
@@ziggedr4y Frozen Synapse was sooo good. The sequel could have been good too with a bit more time in the oven but the dev's ended development I'm guessing. Not sure what they've been up too since.
This game reminds me of the old game "Dreamweb".
Fuck yeah it does
Bro LOVES to yap goddamn
it has to be him adding it after recording gameplay, no way can a dude just sit there and yap like that while playing
> "...because nobody found out right?"
The next person to see the scene is definitely going to find out.
What? Splatty CARELESS??? Inconceivable!!!
Man time flies, I feel like the first one just came out. Looking good!
I think this will be the one to buy when I get the Jagged Alliance/Xcom itch.
at the end of the day...we're pretty nasty
(dies 5 seconds later)
Hotline Miami meets Splinter Cell
Hotline miami meets metal gear solid 😎
2:33 So wholesome. 😊
hnnnnnngh.... this is RIGHT up my alley. never heard of these. thank you so much. kaching!! :D
I never have the patience needed for these. Always end up shooting everything.
the neck stomp thing reminds me of splinter cell were i often chocked people out or knocked them out and then headshot them after xD
Thank you, for spending the luxury of your time with me, but it's time for me to go... prone indefinitely! 🤣 #LOL #UnintentionalPerfection
hotline miami again!
YES! Bought the first when you covered it, gonna be picking this up as well

I absolutely love your laugh 😂
Thanks for showcasing! ^^
Oh wow!? A sequel! I loved the hell out of the first one. This is a must-buy for me.

Some NPCs dodge bullets in this game.
he tripped, probably because of being shot while moving
I thought this was the next game from the battle brothers guys for a second.
Loved the first one, and this looks like more of that stealthy goodness and then some!

Rules of English allow making up words based on standard rulesets.

"Is there a mf sign on my garage thats says dead **guy** storage?"
I bet the keycard was on the mission objective, don't think he ever checked the body.
He did, and it wasn't.
The graphics of this game reminds me of good old GTA 2
Looks great. Reminds me of streets of rage but a bit more.. sane. Thanks Splat
Yuuuuup. This is 100% my jam.
Would be cool if you could lean around corners in a game like this
Looks like a good one, thanks for the recommendation duder
"cold zero', yeah, f*ck me!
finally no cheaters. no head eyes. 😭 tbh thanks Splatter
Reminds me of that MicroProse game from the 90's.
Which one? I'm thinking of DreamWeb but that's Empire Interactive, 1994
Minecraft?
@@milanstevic8424 Took me a minute to remember the game, but it was this gem: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Forces_(video_game)
Wait is this the same company that made Hell is Others? I loved that game and this map level design looks identical.
5:45 have you never played Metal Gear?
Cool! I played through the first one. 😊👍
Its like SAS 4 and police stories

Oh, wow, this looks like Zero Sievert only with much better graphics and gameplay!
Woah, this game seems hella fun is it only on steam?
Inventory art reminds me of syndicate.
it's like Police Stories
looks great, added to wishlist!
went and downloaded this its great
I knew you'd be playing this lol
Another one rides the bus. lol
TIL that another name for "window" is "haircrack in the side of a door". :P
Real time Door Kickers
Big time Metal Gear vibes.
Looks like a really fun game!
Hey splattercat so I looked it up as well and mercenarism is a real word 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Man, i really need to finish the first game.
This looks awesome
Looks pretty good.
Syndicate, damn I’m old!
Sold me on this one!

Oh yeah and Hell is Others. That's a top-down multiplayer extraction. Splat has played that before.
They had that option in the first one, IIRC. This game showcased here is a prolific for the second game. They might add that option in, who knows?
Don't leave Metal Gear Solid out of the mix. The inventory is incredibly similar.
the first game is one of my favorite indies of all time.
a hotline miami clone without prominent music? lol
everything looks ok, but i dont like that you know and see people even without line of sight
this game is fukin FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Like retro door kickers 2
Not much for sneaking Splatty, eh? 😅
Still no coop, thats a shame
Not a word
you drop ammo when you reload if mag not empty
they made a part 2?
How the hell is it possible for you to compare any game in the world with Escape from Tarkov?
what the flipping heck do you mean escape from tarkov it feels more metal gear solid than tarkov but yes good vid and game
On steam is says coming soon???
So Hotline Miami Hitman?
It's free on Steam right now?
and john wick
Looks like a game I could have spent a lot of time on 20 years ago
🖤
can you quicksave?
Yes, you can quick save. This is a prequel to the next game, and has a lot of new elements.
If you like this type of gameplay, I highly recommend the forst game, it's a lot of fun.
Looks like limited saves to me. The first level had text "6 saves remain" after the dialogue.
@@ziggedr4y iirc the first game had difficulty settings that allowed to bypass that BS and just save/load.
Not using the toilet 4/10
