This performance is so emotional to watch. It was very recent after he had been robbed at knife point and I believe someone he was close to had just passed away :(
He was robbed at knifepoint that week and his ex girlfriend who he stayed close friends with committed suicide 3 or 4 days before

His ex girlfriend Caroline Flack took her own life just a couple weeks before this and yes he was robbed at knifepoint a coup,e days before the Brits
So painful for him. She was his first “serious” girlfriend. That makes particularly painful. He was what, 17? 18? And she was 35. First time I saw this video all I could see was his eyes. He sings the song one whole octave below how he sings the song. He performed out of sheer will. What a musician, I’m in awe. Originally the song was about a bad break up and owning it was his fault. But at the brits it took a deeper meaning
Falling is about his ex girlfriend Camille Rowe. The reference to the “coffee out at the Beachwood Cafe” is where they used to go all the time. Harry wrote Falling for his second album. Caroline Flack is his ex who committed suicide in 2020. She was the TV presenter that he needed when he was 17 and she was 31.

I’ve seen Harry live 5 times and he nearly always sounds better than his albums. I think his stage presence just adds to his beautiful voice. But the one that gets me every time is “Girl Crush” Live at the BBC. The vocals are flawless.

It is quite a deep hole isn't it! Harry is also my favorite.As a group I have all their cds and 3 DVDs.I have Harry's 2 albums 1 of Zayn's 1 of Niall's 1 of Louis's. Yes Stevie Nicks said Harry is the son she never had! Isn't it funny she thought he was from NSYNC! I am also a BIG Swiftie! I have followed Taylor since day1 also. I have all her cds and a couple of DVDs.My daughter got me an autographed Folklore cd and a cardigan for Christmas. 2 of my most prized possessions! You stay safe and healthy as well 😷

I don’t listen to a lot of pop but Harry Styles is actually really good, I do really like the drums on his song “Golden”

This is one of my favorite Harry songs, its so good, he puts his all into all his songs, part of the reason why this seemed more emotional was because the week of Brit awards, he was robbed at knife point, his tour got canceled, and his ex gf committed suicide, u can see and feel his pain in this song! If u watch the actual music video, which is so so good, he still sings with the same emotion, but when u know what he was dealing with during this performance, u know why it was sadly so good.
He does a great cover of Kanye Wests ultralight beam, and he sings leather and lace with stevie nicks, as well as stop dragging my heart around, both amazing, both highly recommended, just a little bit of your heart at St.Paul also good.
I can listen to it eeeevery once in a while, it hits me every time

How heartbreaking... this one could be also heard after the death of someone who was important to you... he’s so into what he sings. We feel with him.
I totally agree with the ingenuinity. I believe we are built to catch that in artists: someone can sound amazing but there is just some vibe that is hard to describe, something that does not feel right.
Harry is totally genuine in everything he does. That's what makes him so lovable. When he sings you believe every word he is saying. When you look at his career you can tell that he has slowly come out from his boyband-brand and really becoming the artist he is meant to be from the beginning. I think he is only in the beginning of his career, even he already had a massive success in 1D. Solo Harry is just something else.
Also, loved the fact that you are one of the few reactors that actually catch that the beginning in this performance is not perfect. It starts a little off, but definitely catches up and the note he holds at the bridge is just.. killing me. Shees. This is such an emotional performance. I just want to hug him so bad.

Something about him standing barefoot in this water with just a piano and his voice is just incredible
And the fact that he wrote this song in 20 minutes in just a towel with a friend on the piano makes it even more amazing

Music is my salvation. I have deep emotional connections to songs and artists. My head can can go to some pretty dark places. The first time I heard this song, I was at work, (cool boss lets me use my headphones while I'm working,) and it just gutted me. It was the music video, and his tone, & the imagery just took me to a place.... which is what incredible art can do. I can bang my head and go hard, but this had me crying for the entire 3x I watched it, and anew when this version came out and he had this amazing, emotional performance so soon after an armed robbery on Valentine's Day while walking home, and the day before, a friend of his had taken their life. I don't have words. I consider myself fortunate to be able to listen to his music and he's such a kind,, grounded, compassionate human being to boot. Really enjoyed your reaction, thank you ! TPWK
YESSS I’ve been waiting for another Harry video!
He is genuine and it's one of the very rare qualities and I'm so happy I found out about this artist. This video is hard for me to watch because I see his gaze and I understand he doesn't look at the audience, and I feel like I wouldn't wish to know what he was thinking at that moment, might be overwhelming.
Since I'm still in my "just found out about 1D" euphoria, let me recommend works of Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. They also seem very honest artists to me. I'd recommend Louis's Two of Us, Fearless, Walls. Niall's songs: Flicker, Dear Patience, Put a little love on me.
Overall, genuinity is what I like about this band, apart from obvious things like good music and amazing voices. I was really surprise to learn that their main style is pop rock and they're nothing like your standard boyband. If I knew that, I'd check them out much sooner :) They just happened to be cleverly promoted but it doesn't cancel their honesty imo, there is nothing plastic about them except their merch xD
If you loved this song and the emotions Harry puts in, you should definitely check out "From The Dining Table" from his debut self-titled album. It is one of his most vulnerable songs. The lyrics are brilliant and relatable and the song feels so personal and feels like he is just pouring his heart out to us. Amazing song and production.
LOVING your channel and all of the Harry Styles love. You said something here that really struck me…he’s a genuine guy. I love his music and the diversity of it but what really drew me to him is his authenticity and how genuine he is. He’s just really a nice guy. His mom is lovely and his parents raised a good guy. He genuinely likes his fans (though I wish they’d give him a little bit of space when he’s not on stage) you absolutely MUST see him when he tours (or maybe perhaps you saw Love On Tour before he recently finished in Italy). I’ve been to well over 100 concerts and I had never experienced anything like the love and energy in the room. My husband said the same thing and how special it was. I’m a proud 58 year old Harrie (Harry fan, in case you didn’t know 😂). I’d be happy if you reacted to everything he did, even CD reactions. I’ll be watching…

Earlier in the week he was robbed at knife point and before that a good friend of his committed suicide. It’s amazing that he got through this performance and I believe that’s why it is so darn emotional. Deep feelings dripping from him. Now hearing that you’re into filmmaking and all of that you must watch this video. It will blow your mind.
