    Thank you so much. I just ordered on the Home Depot website with free delivery for the 10-Piece Carbide and Bi-Metal Hole Saw Set, and is still on sale for $37 bucks (was not available in the store)...
    You sold me on this for the demo and for the universal hookup to other hole saw brands.. I've been building my tiny home skoolie and have spent about 30 bucks total on junk harbor freight $10 ones to Amazon's $10-$20 cheap sets that burn up in minutes with no teeth left.. I need this for thin metal holes for plumbing through floors and vents through the roof and hopes this does the trick, and again thank you for this video.

      Sean Mitchell Thats Great to hear" & No Problem at all" Thats what this Channel is all about! Both of these sets are really nice & Will do the job & then some! I really like the Milwaukee set b.c it comes with more hole saws and the
      (Lifetime Tooth Break Warranty )
      But I really like the way Diablo has there's set up with the Quick Change Arbor.. again both are top of the line hole saws so you can't go wrong with either.
      Thanks for Watching & Commenting hope you left a Like & Subscribed. Keep an eye out for my upcoming videos! 😎🤘🛠

    you dont use the pilot bit to push out the plugs. You can, but its much more time consuming and wear on the threads, The way you remove the plug materials out of the holesaws are those cutouts on the sides of the holesaws. You use a standard screwdriver, stick it thru the side cutouts and ory wedge the plug out.

    Thats really cool you got the 16 piece Milwaukee set on sale for $40, I was only able to get the a 13 piece Milwaukee Hole Dozer set on sale for $40 and it's a really nice kit. I also have some of their Big Hawg hole saws which are beasts with 10x bigger carbide tips that are super sharp, unfortunately they aren't bi-metal but they will tear up wood, nail embedded wood, cement board, shindles etc. super quick and much fast that either the Milwaukee or Diablo hole saws in this video. I like both Diablo and Milwaukee and it usually comes down to who has the better deal for me. Of course most all my cordless power tools are Milwaukee, mostly M18 but I recently got into some of their M12 tools since there are some I wanted that didn't come in the M18 version. I started out with Ridgid 18-Volt tools which are great but once I got some free Milwaukee tools and 5 free M18 batteries thru a testing program I was in I got into the Milwaukee tool line and now I own almost twice as many Milwaukee tools as Ridgid ones, but I still buy both brands depending on the tool I need. Hey I got a question for you, the Diablo quick mandrel just threads in and has no support pegs, doesn't that make it easy to get stuck from overtightening? Just like what happens on some of the smaller hole saws with no side pegs, except worse since using it with larger hole saws. Wait I see each hole saw has a mandrel adaption on it so I guess it doesn't matter if they get stuck on the hole saw or not. I like your drill, go team RED! Nice clamps as well I have those same DeWalt clamps, after going thru a bunch of Harbor Freight ones that kept breaking I sprung for the DeWalt ones and they are great!

    Hi...
    Is the diablo hole saw set hold up after using it for a long time ? Or did it fail ? I want to buy this set but i am afraid that the quick release mandrel will break after a while... what is your expierence with it so far ?

  • @wingsdesire1

    by the way hammer drill does in fact drill faster in timber when using a wholesale bit, also if you drill a couple holes on either side on the inside of the hole the wood chips will collect there and you'll also drill faster

    If you make a cardboard washer sized for the mandrel, the hole saws will spin right off. A ring of copper wire will work well too. I make a lot of holes in 3/16 and 1/4 inch steel material handling chutes. I've lost a couple Diablo hole saws. After they punch through with smaller sizes, the release collar hits the edge of the hole, dropping the hole saw into the abyss. I have to use some duct tape to keep from losing them. They both cut fine through steel, just be careful when the pilot breaks through and with the Diablo, when the saw punches through. I like to use a slug of 1/4 in plywood or heavy cardboard that's a larger diameter than the hole saw with the pilot hole pre drilled to cushion the impact/grab when the pilot breaks through. Broke a few pilots and ruined a few hole saws before I figured that one out.

    Great video. How do you change the drill bit in Diablo set? Thanks

    • @toolfein5079
      @toolfein5079  6 лет назад

      Amirhousein Hazratifar Thanks man much appreciated. To answer your question when you pull down on the mandrel or arbor to release the hole saw it is also the same way to pull out the drill bit if you want to change it to a bigger or smaller pilot bit. it has a 1/4in base like for an impact driver that's how it locks Into the mandrel & if you own any Milwaukee shockwave impact ready drill bits they will also fit into the Diablo mandrel up to a certain size for the pilot bit. When I first got mine the pilot bit sticks a little so I used pliers to help pull it out when needed. I hope that helps & hope you left a like & Subscribed & thanks for Watching!!😎🤘🛠

      Tool Fein thanks man. I don't know why is so sticky, may be some WD40 will help

    • @toolfein5079
      @toolfein5079  6 лет назад

      Amirhousein Hazratifar Yea I'm not sure why it's so hard to get out but yes some WD 40 is always a help in this situation lol I'm hoping over time it will get easyer to change but as for the hole saws they go on & off with out a issue. Also i really like that I can use my Milwaukee hole saws with the adapters the Diablo set comes with b.c Diablos quick change mandrel is a really nice set up & being able to use both on the same set up is a huge time & $$$ saver.

    Greenlee makes the best single Arbor and quick change carbide as long as you don't drop them and break a tooth they will last forever if you don't abuse them

    What would stop the Lennox hole saw spinning loose on the diablo mandrel since the are no pins that lock into it?

    • @toolfein5079
      @toolfein5079  6 лет назад +1

      The way the adapter spins onto the hole saw when it spins it actually tightens it more & more you'll have to worry more about being able to get it off then it staying on. But it usually comes off no problem as long as it right after use or it may get stuck on from being hot & cooling down. Hope that helps they are really nice sets & both work great. Thanks for watching hope you left a like & subscribed😎🤘🛠

    Milwaukee all the way. I've had teeth break and they give you brand new ones. I also feel milwaukees are a lot easier to get plugs out of

    • @colemayes443
      @colemayes443 6 лет назад +1

      Once the diablo hole saws get broke in and the paint rubs off the plugs start sticking in it too. And it's a harder design to dig the plug out with the screwdriver then the Milwaukee is

      cole mayes He'll yea man! I really like the Milwaukee set as well.
      You get alot more hole saws for the same price & it comes with the Tooth Break limited warranty.
      Im Glad to hear they fully back there warranty & send new ones out to you like that. I just really like the quick change system & adapters with Diablo seems to work really well with the Milwaukee hole saws . Thanks for commenting Cole! Hope you left a like & Happy holidays to you and your family! Keep an eye out for the next Video!😎🤘

      +cole mayes That's good to know I've only ever used the Milwaukee & Lenox before they seem to work pretty good as of now I think I'll use the Milwaukee set & keep the Diablo as back up for mostly wood cutting. I just really like the quick lock system & that I can use my Milwaukee's with that Arbor thanks for the tip man!😊👍

    Milwaukee is much better than diabloThe only fault you laugh is that after using it you have to make a lot of pressure to change to another diameter

  • @randypeters366

    Milwaukee can't touch Diablo. Everything Milwaukee makes is crap.
