Loved season 2, it was deeper, it was real. I hope that we saw all the dirt, I mean, that finale was a big 'fork you' for Ramy, so I hope in season 3 he get his shirt together and stops hurting people.
Ps. I loved the parents episodes, specially Farouk's
person of culture, i see.
I love you
farouk's episode made me go all soft for my dad
Loved Maysa's episode. It brought the needed comic relief to the show. Hiam is such a delight to watch!
Only clicked on the video to say Will looks like a young Quentin Tarantino
You beat me to it
Lmaoo
Yo that uncle nazeem episode man, wow!
it was truly unexpected, my respect for him has grown
I totally skipped that episode Idk I hate that character
@@BoomBangofficial I really hated that character, too, but I watched anyway, and I encourage you to watch it. I was blown away.
My heart really broke for him. Incredible episode.
@@Historian212 I don't know I can't stand that character so I think I might not !!! But what was is about tho
S2 was excellent. Writing is even better this season.
Loved the season. Very intense writing. Its amazing how talented Ramy is. Not only he is the writer, he is the creator, director and producer. So proud of Ramy.
i like this interviewer because you can tell he's genuinely a fan of Ramy and his show
Yung Pharaoh Variety usually does great with that!
Season 2 had a great story arc.
“This is a melting pot; so melt” 🤪
#RamyYoussef must win a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
mahershala was the best in my opinion, he should win one for a supporting role.
Season 2 was even better then Season 1. The episode of Ramy’s father, Farouk, just hit so close to home for me and spoke volumes... it was one of my favorite episodes of S2 (the parent episodes were very much my favorites, really). “Ramy” has really helped me better understand Islam as someone who grew up Muslim, but did not practice it growing up. I’ve grown closer to Islam and very thankful for all the work they have done. I laughed, I cried, and I thought deeper about what being Muslim means. Inshallah they win all the awards. Bravo. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 🤲🏼
I love this show, Ramy is so adorable ! I'm mad at him for the last episode of season 2 but I can't wait till season 3. Your smile is infectious!😁 Thanks for a different perspective.
I finished watching few days ago, this season delves a lot of topic to discuss. From PTSD and also the inner problem of the faith, for example the intercession of praying. I was actually surprised when they showed that scene.
Love this show!! And can’t wait to see his career become really successful!!!
this season was so good, love this show... honestly, I recommend it every one to watch it.
season 2 was incredible. huge fan.
I absolutely 💙💙💙💙💙this show!!
It takes on social issues with humor!
Can't wait to c season3....love u ramy from egypt :))
Great interview
Just finished Ramy season 2. Really intriguing.
yo we need more interviews about season 2
I haven't seen Mahershala act before Ramy, but he's unbelievable! Should definitely win another award.
Watch moonlight he bailed that role
Also check out the show “luke cage”, he plays the character “cotton mouth”, in the first season
@@awake5650 He carried the first season. After he left the show went downhill for me
@@Skitz0frenix i agree
True detective season 3
Great young talent
#Ramy must win more Primetime Emmy Awards in this year.
Season 2 was amazing
The uncle on s1 was really good. Got to watch s2
He has his own episode in season 2 and it’s literally is one of the best written episodes on the show
Oh man you’re in store for a crazy one then
Jesse Toma 😂😂😂😂
Do you still like the uncle mate?
Love season 2 ep9, 10, are good!
#Ramy the GOAT
Ramy is coming for that Emmy this year! He was so fucking real in season 2
Wow Quentin Tarantino didn't say the n word even once here.
第二季算是看完了,Ramy成功的把一个容易犯错误的大男孩演了出来,让人看了真能对着屏幕生气,最解气也是最好笑的部分就是谢赫爆粗口骂他的时候😂😂😂
When is season 3?
before clicking i thought Ramy was being interviewed by Quentin Tarantino lol
i wasnt the biggest fan of season 1 but damn season 2 was great. Farrouks episode was my favorite.
It was a great eye opener to see the efforts Farouk went through for his family.
#PrimetimeEmmysForRamy
Quentin?
My problem with this season is it felt like he wanted to push a pretty predictable social commentary with each episode. To the point that I saw the ending coming of most episodes and the comedy took a major back seat.
Thank you! I feel the same. Didn't feel like a comedy at all - just cringe and drama.
Will looked into the crystal skull and absorbed all the knowledge before the interview
Young Quentin Tarantino
Lol. Rami are you fasting in this video. You seem like you need to eat.
True the iPhone airpods sucks
whos the white actress that Ramy talks about? Lindsay Lohan?
Why is Quentin Tarantino here? Is season 3 of Ramy will be with neo-Nazies.. and big war and staff!!
This show is great as a dark comedy not as a representation of actual Muslims in the west. Most of us are not cripplingly addicted to pornography and casual sex. I think the main issue is that the core audience of this show will be offended by this show, ie actual Muslims who are going into this show expecting something that this is not. This is not an actual representation of Muslims in the West, this is a representation of fake Muslims who have sold out to the West.
The whole family is hilarious in that they all pretend to be Muslims but fail at almost every morality test they are given despite being Muslim and stereotyped and all that for their believes. So their religion serves no purpose to them and they are still targeted for it. That's the genius of it. If you expect the main character to have any redemption this show will suck, if you go into the show knowing he will fail at every test ever given to him, then this show is actually hilarious.
Fair warning to actual Muslims and I say this as one of the most secular Muslims out there but still hold core values true, this show is offensive to Muslims. Many of the scenes actually pissed me off. There's a scene there where they almost made it look like they were about to have gay oral sex but nope he's reaching for a prayer mat and then they pray together and during them praying I was still worried they were going to touch each other and have gay sex while praying...it's just gross, but yeah the guy who made this show I can't see how he calls himself a Muslim, nothing is sacred to him so there you go.
Still hilarious dark comedy with an Islamic twist.
Don't get me wrong the show is actually good and on its own without an Islamic bias, this show is actually excellent tbf. Like some of the episodes are fucking spot on, the dad episode is amazing.
It's kinda the point. If a show is about a white person, it isn't considered a representation of the white experience. Ramy tries to normalise shows about Muslims, not introduce muslims to the world.
Everything the show touches on is exaggerated for this to be a drama worth being on TV. But all the issues you highlighted are actual issues young muslims in NA go through, perhaps at a much lighter level or only in 1 aspect. As they said, its a melting pot and alot of people struggle with not melting. Often we have 1 aspect of our lives where we do melt and struggle with it. In that sense its relatable.
Lmfao who tf are you to give certifications to who the "actual muslims" are. Gatekeeping takfeeri.
@@miseendriste6337 if you believe a core value of Islam is not drinking or not having sex before marriage or not committing adultery lol then you're going to be offended is my point.
Ramy Youssef must have more than four children after the marriage with a woman.
Is your uncle gay in real life?
I honestly didn't like season 2. I felt like he has nothing to say in most of the episodes that he's just filling it up!
Every episode had a pretty clear message but some times it was shoehorned and took over the comedy. Almost to a point the ending was predictable for most episodes
