Great video mate. Could you just give me a hand here? I'm new to audio and got a RodeLink along with the Zoom H5. I paired the rode link so the transmitter and receiver are working well, however when I plug the Rode transmitter on the Zoom h5 there's no sound on the zoom h5. I'm trying to use the Zoom h5 to see if I can get better sound than using the RodeLink alone. Any tips? Much appreciated mate!
Your setup is FIRE, I respect the fact you kept your dragon despite everyone transitioning to Helium. Was that choice economical or it's just that you didn't felt like 8K was useful to your workflow?
+Thomas Muller Economical for sure. Could either have two 6k Dragon cameras or sell the old one and upgrade the new to 8k. I'd love to upgrade both and work with Helium, but can't afford to right now. Two cameras is definitely proving useful and opening up some new opportunities for me too.
Excellent ideas here. You should be getting an indoor dialogue mic like the Rode Nt5. The cardiod pattern rejects the echos and picks up multiple people from overhead! edit: You can never buy too many things!!! JK
I need more mics! I'm probably never gonna be the person that interchanges boom mics for different situations. That's a level of subtlety reserved for sound guys. The MKH60 has been a great all around mic and is good enough for my purposes.
Very informative, thank you for your time, hard work, and knowledge!
Super set! I also collect mobile Studio, but RED is very expensive.
the mke60 sounds amazing to me, although the rode lav is decent for the price range

Are you using an XLR to stereo adapter to plug the receiver into the H5's XLR inputs? The stereo line out port on the side won't work.
@@Moviesauce Cheers mate for the reply, I was able to fix the problem! Cheers again for replying back!

Very wise choice indeed, I'd do the same thing (if I could afford it).
Love your work, keep it up mate !!!
Thanks, man!
