  • Today's video - My review of the Nash Dwarf rods, net and holdall. I have used this set-up for almost 2 years and it has allowed me more freedom in my fishing and made my style more reactive which I love. It can easily be kept in a car for a spur of the moment session (or a covert one) as well as being immensely easier to move around lakes, rivers and canals.

    Thinking of getting a set of 3rods with the Nash BP6 reels and the dwarf carry all. Thanks for reviewing the products. Been using Nash gear for a long time, never a days problems with them. Saw your review on the Fox easy shelter. Might get one with the rods. Anyways keep the videos coming.
    Appreciate an honest review.

    Just to correct you, that first pocket you opened is the one for your net, the open pocket on the side is for holding a a third fully made up rod in a sleeve, the short pocket on the side is for your sticks.

      I only use two rods so use the bag this way as it's easy for me to do so. I'm sure people put different things in different places according to how they like/use it so if that works for you then that's how you'll use it. I don't really use bank sticks so usually have a throwing stick in the side pocket instead

    Hi where did you buy the kit from or did you buy it separately

    • @themobileangler
      @themobileangler  5 лет назад

      Nash have recently redesigned the Dwarf range (and made them considerably more expensive too). I bought the rods and rod bag and net separately but would not recommend the net as there are many out their which are much better.

    excellent review can you be specific to which model your 8000 baitrunner is please EDIT: i think they are shimano 8000 RE which are now discontinued, what would be your suggestion to now go with this rod

    • @themobileangler
      @themobileangler  5 лет назад +2

      Yeah they were a limited edition I believe, the Shimano 10000 Baitrunner would still suit this rod and can be found for as little as £40 on some sites. I have a Wychwood Exorcist BR I use too but have had a couple of problems with it in the past. Fox EOS reel range would also pair well with the rods but I haven’t tried the new Nash reels.

    Hi Can you recommend a landing net, with two piece handle, to fit dwardf holdall? Would you still purchase JRC?

    • @themobileangler
      @themobileangler  4 года назад

      Hi David! I’ve still got the JRC net and it’s not let me down yet so I think it’s the best option 👍🏻

    • @themobileangler
      @themobileangler  4 года назад

      Jake Jones I’m pretty sure they’re 40mm on rods upwards of 2.75tc but on the 1.75tc it’s slightly smaller maybe 30mm
