I’ve just bought 2 6ft Dwarfs 2lb and 3lb tc off the back of this video along with a dwarf bag. Great little package at a great price from Total Fishing Tackle. Not used them yet but I plan to keep this kit in the car at all times for when that sudden urge and opportunity comes to head off to the lake. Absolutely agree, as great as it is to land the biggest carp you can it’s equally important that a great part of the enjoyment is just being by the lake on a nice day; away from the daily stresses and to just to take it all in without a care. That is the beauty of fishing to me and it a welcome form of meditation I’ve enjoyed for the last year and is now a part of my life that I cannot do without.
Ive just bought a set of the 6ft 3lb test curves and cant wait to use them. Two of the syndicate waters im on are not the hugest and have a lot of tree coverage around so thats why i got them mainly. Top video mate.
Great to see some recognition! I love my 6ft 2lb.tc dwarf great for margin/stalking had some nice carp on it. I also have a set of 9ft 3lb dwarfs that I use for anything else can't fault them!
Do the 6ft 2lb rods handle the fish alrite? I'm thinking of getting 2 of them for my carp and river fishing for barbel. Just easier to transport and I don't fish far out on big waters.
@@leafysfishingdid you get them and if so what is the biggest you’ve had on them so far as I want something that makes it more fun to play the fish but can also handle the fight without snapping
Just got 2, 6 foot 3lb TC and cannot wait to get on my bike and travel light I’m 47 and travel everywhere on my bike 🚲 so these are perfect 👌🏼 for me for the canal, carnt wait until they are in action 💯🎣🎣🔥
That intro sums up fishing perfectly for me. I fish for all species, tench being my favourite but I think smaller fish are actually better looking - before they get bloated. Just bought a Nash dwarf 6ft 1lb rod as I think it will cover my bomb / method feeder fishing for all species nicely
Brilliant intro! Totally agree that many are concentrating totally on breaking their PB and 'Monster Carp' syndrome instead of enjoying catching and admiring all carp. The heavier ones aren't even always the best fighters, sometimes a small double gives the fight of its life whereas its big brother comes in like a tired bream!
Much rather have a good fighting/looking fish than break a pb. That always comes as a bonus. Sometimes I purposely leave my scale at home to leave the pb chase and enjoy the day
I fish for fun, I love carp of any size, if its a small venue with small carp I downsize the test curve. For me it's a place of solice to escape the stress of life, phoenix heroes a veterans carp angling club has saved my life.
I got my 12ft carp rods, but I've had a dwarf since they came out, just for stalking on rivers and canals. I also use it when I fish a lake with carp up to 20lb, with a quiver tip rod as my 2nd rod.
I’ve got the 10 foot 3.5 pound test curve cork handle rods and 9 and 10 foot, 3 pound test curve cork and shrink rods for my so sons and we love them. Great rods
Great bit of kit looking to get these hopefully in 2lb tc i’m working all the time and when I can get out that’ll be perfect just a standard set up with a blowback rig Just getting out for 2 to 3 hours and I would have him in shrinkwrap
I have 2 2lb 6ft dwarfs. Under £100 for two fantastic and fun fishing rods. Amazing for stalking and even for “normal carp fishing” with leads on smaller venues. Im honestly debating buying more of them
I have a 6ft dwarf rod and love it. Used it more this year than my normal setup. Caught some lovely fish stalking in the margins and being stealthy. Cant go wrong so much fun 👍
In Washington state, USA, there are many trees and small waters. The smaller, lighter equipment is the most fun, especially knowing that you can catch a PB anytime.
I have just purchased a set of 3 10ft dwarfs rods. But I have found the Nash dwarf rod bag to be really tight and a squeeze to fit in with the reels plus there isn't much protection for the reels. What rod bags do you use i them...there must be a better substitute for it. Disappointed with the rod bag????
@@jpeddel1 You surprised me with this question :-). Yes I got me a 1,75 lb rod but not a short one, this is a 9 ish ft long rod and i caught me a bunch of smaller carp on floating dog biscuits last spring, biggest around 8lbs or so. thanks for asking, really appreciated.
@@gerhoefsmit8015 thanks for your reply I’ve been looking at getting the Nash dwarf 6ft 2lb but also want it to be capable of handling a bigger fish if I hook one so I’ve been asking lots of people lots of questions lol 😂

Hi are they the newest dwarfs with the flared butt grip stopper on the handle because angling directs don’t have them and they say they only stick the newest thanks
Carp in my area tend to be 2-5 pounds so don’t a high test curve but how far can you cast these 6 footers. I don’t think I’ll ever cast 50 meters if even that.
The big companies have turned Carp fishing into a commercial circus. The sheep blindly follow the latest trends and products and "Celebrity" anglers are just salesmen. My joy of catching Carp comes from all methods of fishing for them, and fish of all sizes. I'm happiest float fishing, alone, in the margins with a piece of luncheon meat for any Carp.
The lower the TC the more bend in the rod a fish will give so if you’re catching mainly smaller fish you feel more of the action in a 1lb TC rod compared to 3lb.
What size reel and line would you use for these rods. I am into UL fishing and I think the smallest baitrunner I can find is 2500 size which I guess would do. Cheers
