    You've got all the bells and whistles but you've forgotten to leave room for a bottle of drink/flask and a lunchbox so you're going to have to carry another bag to accommodate those on a day session. I think you could scale down a lot further by just pre-tying a bunch of your favourite rigs and leaving a lot of the spares at home or in the van should you somehow manage to smash through 10 rigs. I managed to scale back to one tackle box that carried all my tools, PVA, hooks, zig bits, hook length materials and leaders, a small lead pouch, a rig safe and one clamshell box for swivels, lead clips and other small items. I've never really found myself wanting for anything else in terms of terminal tackle, once you stop thinking about what you might want and instead focus on what you'll actually use it becomes much more simple.

    Thanks for the review, looks like Nash makes some quality products. Here in the States carp fishing is only really getting started so many companies, methods, gear, baits, ect are all new to us. These types of reviews might bore your UK audience but know that not everyone watching is even in the UK and the art of carp angling is spreading. Much love from Sunny California 🤙🏾 🌲⛰

    Great video Luke. I always like to see what other people have in thier tackle bags & wether it'll help me.
    Trouble is we're being bombarded by tackle companies ect saying you need this, you need that, whereas in reality we don't ! Too much choice these days.

  • @Onpointcarp

    Nash have always been on the forefront of scaling down. I think it's the only company's kit where anglers say to me "have you seen this" and I'm actually impressed.

    • @yeahrightok.3975
      @yeahrightok.3975 2 года назад +2

      They've also out-priced every other company for years. Nash is too much cash.

    • @Onpointcarp
      @Onpointcarp 2 года назад +2

      @@yeahrightok.3975 But sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you don't. It's up to the consumer to decide whether it's worth their hard earned cash.
      Key point is angling should be fun. There's a tackle brand for everyone's budget, and if that puts more anglers on the bank and smiles on faces I'm all for it.
      I can admire an expensive set up or innovative tackle bag. But I can also admire a budget angler on the bank doing what they love with what they can afford. ✌️

    Ok been using mine for over a year. using it for roving the river. superb design but the one floor is if it isn't full, the side hardening which makes the sack hold its shape can dig in your back. gets quite painful and distracting when worn all day. other than that highly recommend. Also, great review but nothing there looks like its been used?? Do you really use it?

    what a naff review! you basically have shown us a bag and what you put in it, we all have one of them. I was hoping to have seen it worn, the weight, is the back reinforced what are the zips like. I,ve had a couple of ruckpacks, what was the most important bit was how far it sits down your back as they can dig in. Ive still got my fox and jrc ones from 20 years ago, stood the test of time, however some aqua stuff i have tried has lasted a few months.

    Where's the brew kit? ;)
    I've got a Nash rucksack that's been brilliant the last few years, proper tardis - but it now stays in the car most of the time, as I've gone over to a green holdall with a 'few of everything' in it, including 2 small clear top Sonik lead bags that are great for holding the everyday bits such as baiting needles, scissors, boilie-stops, dental floss, hook sharpner, vaseline etc. and in the other one the PVA and zig related stuff.
    The heaviest bit is still the brew kit when you have to take your own water :D

      I want to purchase the FOX rucksack, I really do, I keep checking it out, two anomalies prevent me pulling the………….. actually 3 anomalies prevent me pulling the trigger-
      1] no chest strap clip on the shoulder straps- wtf FOX
      2] no top pouch up at the top like the Solar Tackle ruckall
      3] plastic or resin fittings on shoulder straps instead of metal???? Longevity??????

    • @carpNcoffee
      @carpNcoffee 2 года назад

      @@machomanOOOOHYEEEAH fair points.....
      The chest strap is unnecessary as both the waist straps and shoulder are huge, incredibly supportive, and really comfy.
      The plastic clips are really robust and strong, I've dumped mine a few times and had no issues. Plus they're easy to replace if you do manage to break one. But you probably won't.

    • @carpNcoffee
      @carpNcoffee 2 года назад

      @@machomanOOOOHYEEEAH and lastly there's no pouches on the outside at all. That's what all the dividers are for on the inside. It has straps includer so you can attach them to any side and strap what you need where you need it.
      It really is a great bit of kit. I've got the large one and it's amazing what you can fit in it.

    sorry but I have worked for defense for 17 years and have been fishing for carp for years with great pleasure by the way . But when is the angling industry going to make decent backpacks. There is not one company that actually has a good backpack on the market. They are all terrible the design is to cry ! And for the money you pay for a worthless Chinese carp backpack, you will have a backpack at a good Outdoor store that will not give you a hernia and that will last you for the rest of your life. And this nash backpack can also go back on the pile of junk.
