    I had heard that this house was up for sale . Quite a different look than the Palm Springs house Dean gave his second wife when they divorced and which now sits abandoned.

      DEAN'S HOUSE IN THIS VIDEO IS DIFFERENT FROM DEAN'S VISTA LAS PALMAS PROPERTY AT 1123 N. VIA MONTE VISTA THAT WAS FEATURED IN ANOTHER VIDEO. THE DEED TO THAT HOUSE WAS TRANSFERRED TO DEAN'S SECOND WIFE JEANNE AFTER THEY DIVORCED IN 1973. IF YOU'VE SEEN THAT OTHER VIDEO, YOU KNOW THAT THE HOUSE IS TOTALLY BROKEN DOWN FROM YEARS OF NEGLECT. THAT SAID, I'D ESTIMATE THE HOUSE IS STILL WORTH $800,000 JUST BECAUSE DEAN AND JEANNE LIVED THERE. AND WITH A TOTAL REHAB, THAT HOUSE WOULD BE WORTH AT LEAST $1.5 MILLION IN TODAY'S MARKET.

      @@jamesfeldman4234 I wonder why Dean's and Jeanne's kids haven't taken it over. Perhaps they have and are looking for a buyer.

    I just watched a video shot 3 weeks ago at this location, and the place had a chain link fence around it and was run-down as hell. Is this a rendering of what it COULD look like? I mean there are fast makeovers, and then there are fast makeovers. The pool is shaped totally different as well.

    That's quite an improvement over how it looks now. Too modern for my taste.

    $1.8M isn't alot of money in Palm Springs, CA. Or even L.A.

    The background music doesn't work for me! Should have been some great Dean martin music from the 50's.

      @kyleklemm20 Completely different addresses. This address is 447 West Mariscal Road. The one that he gave to his ex wife and which is run down is 1123 Via Monte Vista. Both were mid 20th century modern home architecture.

    What do these people do for a living that have homes like this?

    • @jaydouglas5847
      @jaydouglas5847 3 года назад +3

      Hi Linda, Perhaps its not "what" you do for a living but how well you do it. For example- Lets say "Joe" is a person who decides to do yard landscaping because he is good at physical labor( he never went to college) , He has a old pick-up truck, some shovels and rakes. He puts an ad and knocks on doors to get his first jobs. His work is good, priced right and his customers are satisfied. He keeps at , soon he needs to hire a helper. Then another and so on. 10 years go by and he now has 20 guys working for him. Joe is "just" a landscaper. He could also be a carpet installer or the guy selling taco's from a stand that people love so much he needs to open an actual restaurant. So you see it not so much "what" you do but how you do it.
