What do you guys mean you haven't mastered the wash and go? Do you have a curl pattern? If you have to braid your hair just to get curls then stick to twist outs. Because all wash and go's do is define what you already have.
I'm with you Deaisha. I can't find the right leave-in/gel combo that won't leave my hair feeling crunchy and white clumps after it dries. Cantu dries out my hair :(
Just tried it on my hair. I thought I would have to wash it out. I was thinking no oil??!! But it worked!!😊. I think I have 3a/3b type hair. It didn’t weigh my hair down. My hair didn’t feel weird. My wash n go had body. It’s a good combination! Thanks for the tip!

I love Cantu's leave-in! It's not expensive and it does what it's supposed to do. And it works with any gel I have (Eco Styler, Nivea, New Wave, even generic brands).
That combination does give you a beautiful wash and go. I've used the Cantu leave in alone one and receive a beautiful twist out. I was letting my hair air dry overnight and when I took it out in the morning to finish styling, it was pretty. Only lasted 2 days though.
You need gel to pair it up. The gel cast is what keeps your wash and go's last longer.
For me what makes or breaks my wash and go is drum roll please: THE DEEP CONDITIONER. A good one will help me retain moisture and that makes my wash and go's POP. Dry hair and wash and go's dont mix for me. I used to use Ampro back when I was a kid in school. The brown one....ugh l HATED that brown, molasses colored gel that smelled so funny. But I'll try this mix tho. I'm in hair envy looking at your hair😍😍😍😍

I quite like the ampro gels. There are several that gave me good results.
Great results! I may try a small-sized Wetline Extreme, and since you reminded that Ampro has protein (which my hair lives) - and seems to elongate and define - I may try it as well.
I just got the argan oil and the clear oil. Skipped the olive oil because of the protein! Planning to try wash n go styling in the spring!!! Uou have really mastered this style I will be trying with you in mind my sister. Treasure of Knowledge thank you!!

How would you compare the Olive Oil gel with Clear Ice Aloe Styler - Ampro Pro Styl? I haven't used Ampro in ages...since my former stylist used the brown version.
I havent used Cantu in forever still have on my shelf, I should probably throw them out. I have the clear version of this gel that I havent used. I mostly used custards for wash n gos because when I use gel my hair never gets big, it just looks same as day one unless I do serious manipulation to get it frizzy.
If you were ever to do a vid on the “most underrated product,” I highly Andre Walker’s Oprah’s former, longtime stylist) beautiful kinks creme gelee and TKO conditioner. It loves 4c hair! 😍 I’ve used it solo and on top of Wetline Xtreme. I just discovered it tho it’s been out for a long time. You can only get it on Amazon now; no longer sold at Target.

Your wash n go be the bomb.comb so thick but fluffy love it I just brought boths ampro olive oil n Argan oil gel because that one dnt hve protein so I wanna see which one I like better but I really enjoy ur channel thanks 😍

Woww such a beautiful defined wash & go. Do you add oil to break the gel cast ? Or before you dry your hair? I'm wondering if I should treat my ends differently by adding oil+cream once the wash & go is dry.
I've given up on wash n gos in the winter, but I am going to try your combination when it gets warmer. Looks fab!
I don't break the cast because that's what gives the wash and go its longevity. I only use oil or cream to get rid of crunch, which this wash and go did not have.

Could you do a wash and go with the Alikay aloe berry style gel? I really want to try it, but I would love to hear thoughts about it first. Thanks in advance. BTW I am obsessed with the Alikay lemon grass leave in, the avocado DC, and the Shea yogurt.

Beautiful. Do you get 5 days of moisture without the need to remoisturize? I've not used either product. I'm putting it on my list to try this combo. I'm on a use up before making new to me purchases.
