about thread colors-I worked sewing in an industrial setting, once in a clothing factory and once in an upholstered furniture factory, and we only had white, light gray, dark gray, black and beige thread. I buy large spools (I'm talking the large cones) in those colors and they work in at least ninety percent of my projects.
The Smeagol 'pockets' moment had me snorting my hot chocolate. Not pleasant or pretty. But damn, this was funny. I needed this. Thank you soooo much.
If I hadn't watched this I wouldn't have know it was a bed sheet I love the pattern and I am a plain person for fabrics I have to really like a pattern before I buy it
Hahahahaha "adult content"!!! I snortlaughed so hard I startled my cat! Adore the dress - and THANK YOU for making sewing less complicated, I am an aspirational sewer - I just acquired a pair of machines (plain sewer and overlocker from mum) and haven't made anything since highschool 25 years ago. You probably know this, but some people make it look so complicated, and I'm more like you, much prefer winging it!!! ❤

Oh my goodness. Someone after my own chaos. Winging it and layering bobbin colors! I have found an easier way to gather though...
I absolutely love this on you. I would need a much thinner collar as I almost have "no neck" and most collars make me feel like I'm choking. And maybe a smidge shorter.
Thanks! This collar kinda made me feel like I was choking too... I usually avoid anything "turtleneck"ish cause the feeling is weird for me, but then I so often like the look of them!
I cry-laughed so much at the Gollum "pocketses" moment, and again at the sing-along choas gremiln. I spent a whole afternoon crouching on the floor, cutting fabric and singing along (with impromptu dance breaks) some music, I felt very Gollum-esque in my posture.

Oo okay, so I don't fully remember cause I was just winging it (are we surprised?) but I think I just cut off all the outside, rolled it in a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon, plunked the whole thing in a pan, and baked it on 350 for like... well, that I don't remember at all, but probably like half an hour?

If your puppies paws smell like Doritos that might mean he 0:42 may be having a yeast overload in his system.
Easy fix for the colored thread : 5 shades of gray and you're good to go. Choose your gray just a tad darker than your fabric. It will look like the right color, but just as if it were in the shade
Gorgeous dress. I think an embellishment like a broach on the neck area would bring it out since it screamed “bedsheet” and should move that up nicely. 😊 Would love to make this dress.
If your puppies feet smell, like Doritos, Cheetos, corn, chips, or anything else I have to recommend just taking a wet, wipe and cleaning your dogs feet. That smell is yeast and that means that your dog has an abundance of yeast and its little cute itsy-bitsy footsie’s. I use a wet, wipe and clean my dogs feet every single day because she sleeps with me and I don’t like the smell of Doritos my face of stinky feet 😁
The final look is giving me Carrie Fisher vibes. Without the drugs, of course. Very cute. I may need to make this for myself out of a sheet with dead elastic, so it has become an ignored sheet on a shelf. 🧵🧵💕💕🪡🪡

Frito Feet! Our wiener dogs have this. It's especially strong-smelling when they've been sleeping. It's caused by a combination of harmless bacteria and yeast.
Some of (yes have more than 1-its chaos) my pups have had wood chip smelling paws.. we don't have wood chips anywhere for them to walk in. For me at least its the males that have that smell, may be random coincidence but my females don't have the smell. also YAY SPLOOTS!

The Doritos smell is because of yeast overgrowth on the skin. Spray with 1:1 part vinegar and water. Allow to dry and then put coconut oil on them…. And I love your videos by the way.

If your pups feet smell like corn chips it's usually a sign of too much yeast, possibly infected.
I like it, but I would be way too uncomfortable with the potential side-boob action--I would have to bring the back skirt up about half way up the back.

I use stick on bras for such dresses, I’m petite and it works well, not sure your larger boobs would work with them, but maybe worth a try. Love the dress, no it doesn’t look like a bedsheet.

Delightful! It looks very pretty on you, I was wondering how on Earth you managed to keep your breasts up in it however! 😂 Tape for the win. I quite like the pattern on the sheets, the microfiber makes me hot and sticky just thinking about it however! I would love to see you have a second go round on this with fabric that you love. And pockets are space/time/reality twisters. Finally figured out pockets AND crotch gussets in my newest pair of bloomers and almost passed out with glee. 😅 Every member of my household had to be witness to the glory. 😂
