I’ve been looking at Bore scopes for AGES
and seriously I think this video helped me make a decision.
Goodluck to everyone I will be going Live next saturday 8-27-22 To pick the winner!
Hey Nick, did you mean next sat, 8-27?
@@jeffgoetz7919 good catch lol Ty I corrected the comment.
“YO YO” Thanks for the video. Been following you for a minute. Keep it up.
Yo Yo ever since I got into this trade I have been watching your videos and I have been learning a lot from you. I appreciate the videos a lot keep up the hard work.
Yo yo always appreciate your videos and input from tools to work experience. You helped me go from heavy equipment to finally going to a dealer then leave the dealer to go do diesel 😄.
Diesel and heavy equipment is where the money is!
Very Nice Tool. I Like The Way The Tip Moves That's Really Handy.
Yo yo . Thanks for the video reviews and new tool ideas and reviews. this would really come in handy in my shop we need this! Thanks again man!
Thank you Malcom!
Yo yo.
Thanks for the vids bro keep up the good work. Toyota tech myself and just enjoy your content.
Appreciate you
“YO YO” Great video, I’ve been using Teslong a few years. I think they’re much better than snap on. Really like the articulating end, will make much easier than twisting around trying to look at valves.👍
Yo yo. Ive been watching this channel since i graduated with my a.s in automotive 2 years ago. Thnx for the videos
Thank you for sticking around!
Yo yo.
Thanks for the video. Makes me glad I didn’t buy a scope last week cause this one is way better. I can’t tell you how long I’ve wished for a scope that could articulate like that.
Yo yo, mahalo’s for all the knowledge you share with everyone. Your videos were helpful when I was thinking of getting into the industry and it continues to be helpful 8 months later. It’s been the best decision to pursue my passion and turn some wrenches. Hope all is well, stay safe bro! 🤙
Yo yo great video keep doing more tool reviews and recommendations
Yo Yo Yo! Thanks for sharing ur journey and this cool tool review
audio is great for narration while you're capturing a video or streaming to a remote service center or for documentation of what've found to show for a customer or whomever. Great feature
" Yo Yo" You videos are awesome. Glad u like your new job.
YO YO!
Keep up the good work! Love the vids!
“YO YO” Thanks for the review. You always have great content.
“Yo yo” sick review this borescope is cool, so many times this would have came in handy.
Yoyo nice camera 📷 thank you !
Yo Yo nice borescope. Been using one off my phone but standalone looks so much better.
Thanks for another great video
Yo yo -- nice tool could really use it in my arsenal. Good video man!
What a game changer, can't wait to try this one out!
That is a nice tool and has clear viewing.
"Yo Yo" I love it, nice gadget there for scoping!
Having a semi-rigid camera cable will help when trying to view the engine area without having the camera cable bending when extended more than 10" or more.
“Yo Yo” thanks on the review helps pick out tool that’ll fit my needs. The clarity looks better than a snap on I used at an old shop
Pretty good resolution. I would never buy a snap on borescope at there asking price.
@@LetsDriftMedia there’s a lot of snap on tools that I wouldn’t buy at the their asking price 🤣
YO" YO ALWAYS GOOD VIDEOS
Yo yo! I need to get one of these! Thanks Nick
Yo yo great video, that is a real cool tool. Might but it for myself
Yo yo! Awesome vid as usual
“YO YO” , dope video and sweet tool .
"Yo yo" amazing video like always!
Love the video! Lots of good info in it, thank you. I do have a question, When you're using the feature that lets you see the image live on your phone via wifi, and you take a photo, does it save that image directly to your phone? Thanks!
thanks, and I believe it saves it to the SD card in the tool not your phone. You could always take a screenshot on your phone while its streaming if you wanted to save it to the phone itself.
YO YO, God bless you brother miss your dealer contents I hope they let you bring it back. I don’t know if I can video will working in the shop even if they did let me it is hard work. Much appreciated all you do.
Thanks man, I dont work at the dealer no more tho lol
Ordering it right away just because you posted the actual video from the device. Even the official TESLONG page failed to do that and I couldn't tell how clear actually it was. But damn you can see so well. I bought the AMES 3.5" from Harbor Freight for 175 today and the date stamp was from 2010!!!! The picture was so horrible. I'm going to have to return it and eat the 20% return charge but after I'm done cleaning the valves :D ! I'm so dumb for not doing my research first and finding you!
HURRY ITS $230 now THROUGH YOUR LINK !
Yo Yo definitely a good tool. Thanks for the review
"YO YO" hello and congratulations on career with current position! One thing is managerial, you will be up n coming manager/supervisor soon. Save your body, share your ability to lead.
“Yo Yo” So many uses for a Boroscope. Never had one but always wish I did
YO YO!! I’m constantly doing cylinder heads and engines. I can use this 🤙🏻
My advice to all Master Techs, Get yourself a personal borescope. The Teslongs' have a ton of value vs competitors. in my opinion. That said, MY diagnosis ALWAYS includes a visual inspection of the component in question. Unless of course it is impossible. Yes I cannot do a visual on everything, but even if something is normally buried or hard to see, my scope can usually get me there. It can save time in diagnosis, and after turning the wheels of expertise in your head- it can confirm hunches, or feelings about what is problematic. A Master Tech without one is missing out on a great tool.
AWESOME VIDEO and Tool!! YO-YO!!!!
Yo yo . Dang, nice tool you chose to review bro. 👌definitely a cheaper/better option for mechanics.
YO YO, Excellent review.
love your videos bro! "YO YO".
THANK YOU!
Yo yo ! That looks so useful, maybe be able to see some valves without using the little mirror !
YO YO.
Nice video. Looks like a good tool to add to the box.
Yo yo that's sick no cap!!!
"Yo yo" that is a good looking scope
"Yo Yo" definitely like the articulating function
So what is the price for this scope? And what is the warranty length on this . Thanks for the video
Yo yo ! That borescope is nice !✌🏽
Thanks for the review “yo yo”
Yo yo, awesome review I’m looking for a new tool
Nice Camera, is this Camera works as Bicycle brake cables inside ? , if it works like that, i think they can add 2 more cables to let the Camera go to all Directions in the Future, it is a Nice Camera, Mashaa Allah.
"yo yo" Thanks for the review.
Yo yo! That thing is sick asf, would be useful bit of kit
YO YO
(this is a pretty dope kind of scope man)
YO YO,thats dope
" yo yo" let's get some s14 drift content !!
Nice. Is there a spark tester you would recommend?
I would just put a spark plug in a an ignition coil, ground it then crank the engine to see for spark.
Yo yo thanks
Ive been looking for one with replaceable batteries like AA but seems like they all come with rechargeable permanent type battery and i havent had good luck with rechargeable permanent batteries that do a lot of sitting between uses
YO YO LETS GO NICK
Yo Yo looks good I’ve been thinking of getting one.
Yo yo! Can you do a video of the top 10 tools you can only have
Is there a UV light attachment like the snap on one offers? Or does the snap on one fit?
I dont think Teslong has that attachment, and not too sure.
Yo Yo need to grab one of these.
Yo yo! I had to return the debstech one because I couldn’t get past using that lousy 90 degree angle. This one looks a lot better.
Yoyoyo.! Honda tech here.
Is this the 0.24 or 33 camera head size ??
Yo yo! Very nice
Yo yo pretty cool tool
Yo yo this tool would be sick to use on my truck
“YO YO” Me like like, me want want, can I have please
I'm lookin looking to buy a 2013 Prius hybrid with 80-100k. Do these cars have head gasket failure eventually? or theres a way to prevent it? Thanks
Not all of them but a lot of them do. Look for one that has properly serviced and not abused. It’s usually cause by either driving the vehicle low on coolant or a failed water pump. If the previous owner has not invested into regular coolant services and replaced the water pump your taking a gamble. The mileage your looking at is pretty low though. I would rec getting the water pump replaced after purchase just for peace of mind
@@LetsDriftMedia Thanks for the reply back. How about the EGR cooler and EGR valve? Do they need to be replace too?
@@subgyu5693 they dont NEED to be replaced at that mileage but if I was buying a used Prius I would go ahead and replace them both for preventative mait. since they are also a problem part with these engines. As well as clean the dust out of the hybrid battery filter located on the passenger side rear seats. Common for dust layer build up that will set a "check hybrid cooling system" warning.
@@LetsDriftMedia Thanks a lot. That was helpful. I should clean the battery fan also. Other than what was mentioned, are there other things I should replaced?
@@LetsDriftMedia Also do Camry hybrid's have the same problems?
Yo Yo! What a cool tool!
I wish this company makes smartphone attachable borescope with highest resolution camera and remove the cost of the screen. It't not an everyday device but a phone is so it should be an accessary to an existing screen device like smartphone/tablet/pc/ etc..
And it needs to have replaceable 🔋 🔋
What is Nick Nakai's favorite toy?
A "Yo Yo"
As Always thanks for another great review.
Yo Yo, sick tool
I bought the 450, for $139, it’s every bit as good as the 500 in my opinion.
Thanks ill ck it out
Yo Yo
For the price that really puts the snap on borescope to shame. My only question is and maybe I missed it, what’s the diameter of the camera? I’m wondering if it would fit down an ISB injector bore for cylinder inspections. Snap on wants almost 400 for just the 3mm camera not even with the display.
I forgot to mention that. The diameter of the probe is .33 inch
@@LetsDriftMedia Once I saw the comparison next to your finger kinda figured it wouldn’t fit, but still a handy borescope at a fraction of what the truck brands run.
@@dasphoenixable yea that’s the only thing I wish was better but I’m sure they will make a skinnier version next model.
@@LetsDriftMedia I’m guessing the diameter is because of the articulation, they have to fit the cable or whatever they are using in the sleeve of the camera.
Yo Yo! This thing is sick
Yo Yo!!! Time to do some b roll with the new scope camera!
Yo Yo cant say no to free tools love the content
Good luck my man!
YO YO, wonder how this compares w autel's be neat to hear opinions ;)
Is the battery replaceable & not built in would be my main concern
Its built in thats why i havent bought one yet I called the company its in the states even though the tool is made in china and they said they would replace the battery for around $20 . Sure they will
“YO YO” gotta try see if I can diag my poor old PCar without taking it apart!
I HAVE ONE ,,, BUT I AM GOING TO BUY THIS FOR THE ARTICULATING FACTOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“YOYO”
"YO YO" and I quote.
YOYO!!
Yo-yo , that is a nice tool
“YO YO”

No the monitor is fixed.
"YO YO" Does this tool has a thermal option?
No it does not.
