I got mine and I sanded off the edges of the handle and patinaeded the blade with mustard and I'm loving it now. I'm going to start beating it up just like that. Swiss Tech Kraftig. We seem to like alot of the same knives. Lol
I EDC either a Victorinox Spartan or Compact at work in the office. Outside of work it's a Victorinox (either the Spartan, Compact, or Climber) and a Benchmade mini adamas limited edition with the burgundy handle.

I'm EDC my Fixed blade Kubey Exotic Bird , a very unique self defense knife. I have a weakness for knives with rings lol . I also have my folder Artisan Proponent in bronze ., so what do you think of 440C ? How does it compare to a Esse or Rat of the same size ???
440c is good man! Tested a few knives, keeps its edge, easy to sharpen, tough, stainless so no rust.... I love it. Got to clean it up today etc but ueah works like a champ in my opinion. I don't own a Esee or Rat in that size yet but I am sure they all work fine. Just this Hyenas is 40 bucks. Not over $100....

There isnt 440C steel. Its 8Cr13Mov-steel. The 8Cr13Mov-steel is most better than 440C. I like the knive.

Do you think you will sand the sharp edges off?
After using it, no. I personally had no issues with blisters or hot spots....
I sanded mine. And it's a much much more comfortable
