They're a japanese rock band
Taka, the vocalist of ONE OK ROCK, has previously covered Adele's "Hello," and the video clearly shows his ability. Most of their songs are written by Taka, who is also the vocalist. They are very talented musicians as a band. I am surprised that you don't know them, but they have so many great songs, and as a fan, I hope that they will be better known around the world. I hope you will take this opportunity to give them a listen.
This concert is a memorial concert for Linkin Park's Chester. They were scheduled to tour together, but Chester passed away at the last minute. The long silence in this song is said to be a prayer for Chester.

Welcome to OOR. They are out of this world. They are the most humble and honest band I've ever followed. I was blessed to see them live last year in a much smaller venue, and the intensity and love for the fans bypasses crowd sizes. This concert was in 2018, and it's been said that the moment of silence was in honor of Chester Bennington, from linkin Park, untimely passing. OOR and linkin Park were good friends, and it was really painful for taka, lead singer, in particular. They have been around for a while since 2005 and have a great variety of rock style songs. Please continue to react to them. I promise you will not be disappointed. ❤❤❤❤

Just for your information, the silence in the beginning wasn't for Chester Bennington, that's a rumor. It's to build up the tension. He already did that before Chester passed away.

.. you pointed "mind" a couple of times while Taka was singing.. one thing you should know is that Japanese don't differentiate between mind & heart ..most Japanese point a heart if asked about a mind.. so their minds are pretty much connected to their hearts .. (even you type "mind" in google translate, 「心」should come out in Japanese .. 心 = heart ..)
One ok rock always means live performances cos the audience is the 5th member of the band. ❤ enjoy the OOR journey down the rabbit hole
Taka (vocalist) always sings from the soul, whether it's a ballad song, hard rock, screamo, pop rock, alternative, emo, he can do it all. "Mighty Long Fall" and "The Beginning" live at Yokohama Stadium are pure hype. "We Are" live from Ambitions Japan Dome Tour and "Good Goodbye" live from 35xxxv Tour are almost religious experiences. You can do no wrong with any of their live performances.

Taka(the vocalist) was sick AF here...this concert got delayed 45 minutes bcs of it and THIS is what we got! I literally got chills! The dedication and teamwork from the band mates, staffs, and audiences is so heartwarming

Taka wrote this song for his parents breakup so it's written from his heart for sure but this performance was a special dedication tribute to Chester Bennington after they had to cancel their tour together for obvious reasons. So it was very emotional and the silence in the beginning and the crowd chant were for Chester

Dude your mic's noise floor is way too loud. Try pointing the tip of the mic towards you, so that you can lower the gain and therefore get rid of the high ittched whine in the background.
ONE OK ROCK doesn’t allow filming in their Japanese concerts, which is a great idea, makes people live more in the moment.
