The concert was an hour late and he was disappointed in his performance but he is such a great singer that he still sounded great. I am so glad that you discovered One OK Rock because they are awesome. People find OOR because of Taka but the band is really incredible and their lives are the best. i absolutely love how they do the long silence at the beginning just before the "silence strikes like a hurricane" you can genuinely FEEL that silence and their performance fits the lyrics perfectly
I was at the Olympia on the 13th in Paris. And wow...Taka is so underestimated regarding his vocals , he did a note at one point it was crazy long...I was like wow...and the instrumental was insane, some acoustic songs too. And my favourite is "Broken heart of gold" , the concept of this MV is super cool , fans participated and one won , his or her concept was chosen, super cool right?

I was there too! He did that note during Clock Strikes. I was getting out of breath even though he was the one singing it! I also loved how everyone screamed the lyrics during Renegades. I felt that "I'm not afraid" deep in my soul. It was so powerful. In general, it was such an amazing concert! When he let us sing a part of Your Tears Are Mine it made me really happy.
Taka never misses, his vocals are insane and honestly I usually listen to One Ok Rock live more than I do their studio versions (which are insanely good as well)
Hi. OOR have been together since 2005. They used to be 5 members at the very beginning. Taka is lead singer, Toru is guitarist and creator of the band, also childhood friend with Ryota base. And Tomoya is drums. They are all in their mid 30s. They play all types of rock from emo sreamo to pop, alternative and the most beautiful ballads. Taka has been living in the US for several years now. They do write their own songs. Sometimes they collaborate with big celebrities. They are in their world tour right now. In my opinion, it's not their best song but I still like it a lot ! I've seen them live 3 times in France until now. They are so greeeeeeeat ! One Ok Rock is one of my favorite bands. They make music that is meant to be heard live. I saw them on June 4th in Czechia and it was the best concert I have ever been to. It was a tiny venue (compare to this) and we were SO FUCKING CLOSE to the stage. I was in the first raw so I could literally touch the stage or Ryota's bass guitar. I had so many great interactions and even talked to Taka (the vocalist) after the concert. They are insane. These people really do love their art and fans because I don't know any other artist (that famous) who would play for 800 people in a small eu country. They themselves said that they love the intimate feel and it's something they are not used to anymore. The whole Czechia concert is on RUclips (also just individual songs) if some of you want to check out how close we actually were.

They have this amazing combination of a Powerful Emotive Multilingual Vocalist who knows exactly how to work a massive crowd, Simple Relatable Lyrics, Solid Decade+ Experienced Band and a Huge Close Knit Fanbase. Not to mention, their Support and Production team are topnotch.

They are the original members. Taka lead singer, Toru guitar and creator of the band, Tomoya drums and Ryota base. They play and sing all type of rock. Their older stuff is a bit more punk/screamo. Their newer stuff is a bit more popy. They have collaborated with artist like 5sos, sleeping with sirens, Avril laving and lately Ed sheeran among a bunch of other big artist. Their lyrics are some of the most inspiring and heartfelt. They are the most humbled band i have ever had yhe privilege to see live. As you can see the sell out 50000 stadiums and yet they play just as passionate for a 800 people venue. I make a joke the the fans are the 5th member of the band. I saw them live in 2016 at Dallas House of Blues. It's a very small venue and I had VIP seats because it was my birthday. They were so amazing. I'm so glad I saw them back then because their concerts are so big now. I've seen them since but nothing will ever compare to that first time....even though they are amazing every time. I'm so happy they found so much success though. They deserve it. ❤
