Just a tip for your next Japan trip. Tabelog is Japans version of Yelp. Also, be sure to check out the food basements in department stores. So many different and interesting food choices. Using a service like Yamato to ship your luggage to your next hotel/destination is super convenient so you're not lugging your bags on the trains. If flying into Haneda, you can take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station and get onto the Yamanote line/subway to get to your final destination in Tokyo. Totally enjoyed this series! Makes me want to go back to Japan so badddd! Lol.
@@lbabe1996 from what I can recollect, it was super affordable. Less than $40 I believe and we had 2 large suitcases. Transported from Tokyo to Hiroshima and was waiting for us at our hotel. Made our shinkansen ride so much easier not to have to lug around our suitcases.
It's so crazy. I didn't realise that the disney hotels room release was like taylor swift tickets. I got on at 11am japan time and they started selling out immediately! So glad we got a room.
I'm in Japan right now and can relate to a lot of what you say! Someone noted below to use a luggage transfer service between hotels/cities and I second this: it does mean you're without your bags for a day or so but is so much more convenient than schlepping them around. They also mentioned going to the basement of department stores, and yes: the basement is normally groceries and a food hall, and they are AWESOME, absolutely stuffed full of both local specialities and international brands. Also, I had a dish yesterday that I think you might enjoy: Curry Doria Gratin, which was a casserole of rice topped with Japanese curry, then cheese, and the whole thing was baked till the cheese is melty and golden. The version I had also had a soft poached egg hidden under the cheese in the middle. It was perfect for a brisk day, hot, cheesy and comforting without feeling too heavy.
I'm going to Japan the end of March for 5 weeks, I travel all over the world, and Japan has me very intimidated! I was born in Japan and haven't been back in several years, this trip has me anxious and so excited.
I think of Ordinary Adventures as adventures that are accessible to many types of people. Like no one going cliff diving or climbing Mount Fuji here, but you are going to do other awesome things❤ This is great, just putting all the pieces together 😊 So helpful! I really like how you guys think, you genuinely want to share and help others💜 I really hope to go one day, I would likely go on a tour, but seeing your trip there makes me feel a little more comfortable with the concept.
For airport to hotel transportation, consider using the Airport Limousine Bus. That way you don’t need to schlep your luggage thru the train stations (that have a lot of stairs) and you don’t need to be without your luggage like when using a luggage service.
I went to Tokyo and Tokyo Disneyland after I graduated high school in the 80s. We used paper maps for the subway. It was confusing but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I went with my best friend and met my sister and brother in law. She was stationed in Misawa, an Air Force Base.
Awesome video! A few other tips from our April 2023 visit to Tokyo/Tokyo Disney: * We found the trains around Tokyo to be easy to use as the video showed, but had all kinds of trouble figuring out how to correctly buy tickets for the train that goes from the airport (don't remember that being just tap in and go). The car service they mentioned in the video would probably be easier to use. At least look up videos for how to buy tickets for that airport train if you plan to use one. * You can use a luggage service to send luggage from one hotel to the next if you are moving around, usually you can ask the hotel staff to arrange it, very cheap and safe. We did this going from Tokyo to Kyoto. * If you take longer train rides well worth getting a bento box sold on the train platform. You would think a box with cold chicken and rice would not be tasty but all the ones we had were delicious. Some fancier bento boxes do apparently including heating packs that warm the food after you open the box. * If you like to stay out late beware that trains can shut down earlier than you might think, like midnight or so. * If you go to Kyoto It is SO worth it to wake up early and get out to see things, it can get super crowded there but very few people wake up early. The bamboo forest part in particular this was super useful. Some shrines and temples do not open until 9am though. * The premier parade spots in Disneyland have assigned spots on the ground, but the premier viewing areas at Tokyo Disney sea do not - still well worth getting in either park as the shows are amazing! * You can't book the premier viewing areas until you are in the park, this is a great use of the happy 15 early entry, that 15 minutes is way more valuable than you would think. * Super Pro Tip if you do have happy 15 - stay as far left as you can, as they hold the main crowd back just behind several entry gates they let the Happy 15 people in first - if you are far left you'll be behind lines being let in by several entry booths, not just one or two, and thus will get closer to a full fifteen minutes of extra time.
I can't thank you both enough for this series, for taking such time and care to document this for us. I have taken such joy, in seeing your joy, it's been wonderful. I've told my husband for years we should go to Japan and directed him lol to watch this, so maybe? I get to go soon. Thank you again.
Watched all the Japan videos and will probably watch them all again and take notes, but we now feel like we can totally conquer a Tokyo Disney trip! Thank you so much for filming and sharing so much of your trip, it was extremely helpful. So happy you guys finally made it to Japan! 💜
THANK YOU!!! I’m taking my son to Japan for Spring Break and his 13th birthday in March 2024 and so much of this was SO helpful!!! It’ll be just me and him and yes, we are definitely hitting Disney. 😊😊😊
@@OrdinaryAdventures we definitely learned a lot. We have watched a lot of videos on YT and this video is definitely the most relevant and helpful. Thanks for all you two do 😄
Great video and I loved watching the vlogs! I live and work in Tokyo and these are my comments/tips, hopefully it helps someone 😊 1. Nowadays you can use Suica basically anywhere in Tokyo, such as stores, not just trains and convenience stores. You can use it to pay for basically anything! 2. There are plenty of normal taxis you can hail just like in New York City! They are still more expensive than the trains but easy to find and great service. 3. As someone mentioned, the luggage shipping is super convenient. You can find the shipping counters in the airports and most hotels are happy to help you ship your luggage anywhere in the country. Super safe too. 4. I would caution anyone with an allergy or food restriction to be very careful in Japan. Look online on how to specifically explain your restriction in Japanese and print it out. Show that at every restaurant you eat at and make sure to confirm they understand while ordering and after recieving the food. Do not trust packaging. 5. The best bet for finding trash cans are convenience stores or Starbucks 😂 6. I hate the tiny napkins!! I am convinced it is just because Japanese people generally are nuch neater eaters then foreigners (esp Americans like me lol) The hand towels are generally used to wipe your hands off after washing your hands, as most don't have paper towels 7. About reserving seats at restaurants and cafes, absolutely do it. You can use a water bottle, umbrella etc Everyone does it and is even encouraged by many restaurants. It is to avoid being stuck without table when you recieve your food.
Thanks for all that tips. Still hate the reserving a seat thing because at Disney there was literally like ten tables with bottles on them and ten people looking for a seat to eat the food they had just gotten while the people saving the seats were still in the hour long line. To me that is inconsiderate. I just don’t agree with it personally.
Awesome tips you guys! We are hopefully going to plan our own trip soon and these tips are super useful. We really like the format of the podcast style video too!
I know you guys worked super hard on making and editing this video thank you so much for taking the time to make this video even tho it almost broke both your computers ❤️
I love seeing your video's improve overtime. It seems that every single new video you post, the editing quality and overall video just gets way better. Keep going!
Hey guys, love the channel! One clarification for Shinjuku and it being a Red Light District. The area in Shinjuku you stayed, Kabuki-cho, is considered a Red Light District, but it's a very small part of Shinjuku. You are correct though in that unless you are really looking, you don't really notice it. In that area as long as you don't follow the Touts(people telling you to go into an establishment) you will be fine.
I have to tell you that this was the BEST trip planning video I’ve ever seen, and I watch a ton of trip planning videos. This was chock full of really helpful information. I was so surprised by the prices that now it looks like in a few years we may actually be able to make my Duffy loving daughter’s dream trip happen. Now I need y’all to go to Disneyland Paris so I can get your travel tips for that park too!
I know you said this was the last Japan video, but i would love to see a video about your loot from Japan! Also, thanks for this video! It's super helpful and super encouraging to go ahead and fight past the overwhelm to book an amazing Japan trip.
A group of friends and I are going in March, so watching your Tokyo videos have been so helpful. I have a huge list of Disney things I want to buy just by watching your videos. Especially the Duffy and Friends merch
This video is amazing. Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it. My hubby and I are planning to visit Japan. I am definitely saving this. Thanks again.💜
OMG, this is the video I’ve been needing. I am actually going to Japan march 2024 and I was telling my partner how I saw you guys went and that I was really really hoping you’d post a video like this one!! I haven’t even watched it yet but I’m so excited. I’m sure you guys are going to give great tips 😊 we are for sure overwhelmed with planning everything but I can’t wait to go! I haven’t gotten to watch all of your Japan trip but I’m starting with this one and can’t wait to watch them all! Thank you guys❤
For those with food allergies, you can show them a card that says what allergy you have in Japanese (look online or find someone who can translate for you). They will take it very seriously and try their best to find the exact ingredients in the dish or dishes you want in a printed sheet or screen in English. We were able to do this at theme parks and larger restaurants in major cities.
Thank you for this video!! I travel a lot and I’ve watched thousands of videos for the last view months, including all of your videos, however planning for our 1st trip to Japan has been the most complicated. This has helped me so much! So excited!!
Lot of good tips in here. One I'll add: Bring comfortable walking shoes. Bonus if they are easy to take off/put on, as some places you go (restaurants/attractions/etc) will have you remove your shoes. But comfortable shoes is a must. You will get your 10k steps plus a day at a minimum. I think I walk an average of like 4-7 miles a day in Tokyo when I'm there.
Pay for a food tour. It cost around $100 for a 3-4 hour tour per person with an english speaking guide. My group did one in Shinjuku and it was awesome. They will tell you the history of the area and take you to food spots and areas you might be intimidated to goto. Most spots, there was sake and other alcohol included with you’re food if that’s your thing.
Great recommendation! I do this when I first visit a new to me place as it helps orient me a bit regarding food. Booking a food tour the first day in a new place is non negotiable, when it’s available of course.
This video was everything I needed to hear! Thank you so much for making it and sharing your experience. It will be so helpful if I can ever make it to Tokyo!
If no one else noticed the great editing, seamless B roll, camera angles AND detailed description of every question in the description tab. Well, great job and that is a lot of time and effort to do all that. Ya’ll better like and subscribe! Also if you book with Chase Sapphire RESERVE you get travel, medical, dental, delayed flight, rental, luggage insurance included. Plus a lot more. lol.
Can I just say THANK YOU sooo much for breaking the cost down! I was trying to explain it would be more fun and cheaper for my family of three to go to Japan than going to Disney world from Tennessee…this is what we are going to do instead
I have never travelled outside the continental US in my life and the biggest thing that scares me is the prepping before the trip. Getting travel insurance, making sure your phone is going to work outside the country, booking flights, booking hotels, getting the difference currency. This whole vlog series has shown me some things I dream of doing sometime in my life. Just hope I can get over my fears. Thank you so much for this and all you Japan videos!
I love the idea of saving a table before eating. It sucks walking around with your food when all you want to do is eat. Loved the Tokyo series. Thank you!
Your Japan Chronicles are simply AMAZING!! We have already sent some friends to your RUclips who are going and want to be more knowledgeable! We looked forward to reading each and every one of them as you posted!!!!!
I live in Shinjuku part of the year, and I agree it was super overwhelming at first, but if you have lived in a big city like NYC, you will figure it out quickly. With the train it’s just paying attention to the stops, because you pay by the stop and never talk on your phone while on the train. Always carry cash, because some places don’t always allow credit cards.
That Suika card tip with the phone is probably the best tip for me. Love all your vlogs, will go back and write everything down. When I lived in Europe I’d write out a cheat sheet while on the train going to the next country (no Euro in 77) money list. When id see a price I’d glance at my conversion chart. Faster than figuring it out all the time. It was an index card written $1, $2, $3 to $10 then $15, $20, 25, $30, $40, $50 etc. I still do that for pounds and euros.
THANK YOU so much for this video!! It’s so AWESOME that you share so much with us and Your videos inspired us to plan our trip to Tokyo!! I’ve been taking lots of notes from each video especially this one! It is a little stressful now knowing how we have to book the Disney hotel but hoping we can do it. Thank you for always being so great when we see you out and about my youngest Daughter has about 6 photos with you 2 because she never misses a chance. Happy New Year and cheers to more upcoming adventures!
As today is Christmas…just want to wish you both a VERY merry Christmas from rainy (and kinda warm!??) Canada and can’t wait for more adventures in the new year!!! ❤
Excellent video peter & Kitra. Loved watching all the Japan adventures. Walt had sponsorships in Disneyland. It's how he got to do everything extra he wanted and give the best most amazing experiences to guests. ❤
We went to Japan in 2019, and we rented a portabel wifi device at the airport, that we could return when we left. Problem was, we were going to depart from Japan by boat, in Fukuoka. We had a heck of a hard time finding the japanese adress to the drop-off office in Fukuoka! It was like in an alley way, and we walked in kinda like through a garage door...and it looked like a mini warehouse, with no clear signs outside or on the street. But they helped US to fill out the return slip. So if you rent one of those, make it easy for yourself and return it at the same place you rented it. 😊
WHAT??? How was I not subscribed to your channel???? I've watched so many of your videos...and planning a Tokyo Trip in early March - this is perfect timing!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! You guys are great!
This is such a useful video, as someone who wants to visit Japan and Disneyland within the next few years alone, this helps a BUNCH. I always had anxiety thinking about where to start, so this will be a perfect to use when it comes to planning!
Yay I’m so glad you made this video cause I’m going to Tokyo Disney this year so excited but also anxious for the long flight an just new adventures 🤓🤣🩷🫶🏻
Never had any issues with crowds or anything at the start of May in 2017 and somehow there was still Cherry Blossom in bloom, even though people say it’s normally gone in April. We panicked our first day in Tokyo when we went to get the train, we genuinely witnessed the whole thing of pushing people into trains (which we thought was probably a one off thing you see on TV) however we learned it was the rush hour commute train, we waited 5 minutes for the next train and it was empty, it was crazy. Have to agree people are very helpful, we mistakenly got off the train at the wrong place and someone obviously spotted we looked a bit lost/confused looking at the map at the wrong station we got off at and despite the language barrier they helped us figure out what train we needed.
Great video! In 2019 I stayed at one of those “good neighbor hotels” near TDR(I had issue booking actual Disney hotels). I will say at $129/night it was so nice(it was either the Hyatt or the Hilton). The dining was amazing, the staff was friendly, there was a MASSIVE arcade inside the hotel, and a free shuttle that took you to the train loop around the Disney resort. They did used to also sell park tickets right at the counters in the hotels, but I can’t confirm if those came back after lockdown.
Guys, awesome video. This whole series on Japan was great, and this video was *very* helpful. I hope to get to Japan some day, and when we do I will probably come back and rewatch this.
You guys are so awesome. I truly appreciate the validation. If someone has a desire to go to Japan, they can do it and sharing your journey. Plus I'm a total geek for gathering as much research for travel! Looking forward to seeing this video ❤
Thanks for all the effort you guys put into your videos. You've helped me out a bunch in planning for my trip to Japan, as well as my last trip to California. Merry Christmas!
I went to Cafe Reissue last year as well and I know exactly how steep those stairs are. I can't imagine falling down those. So glad you are ok. What a trooper to power though it! Love that place though. Tip for anyone going, arrive early because you may need to put your name on a waiting list. I had to put my name down and return an hour and half later.
Fun fact: Shinjuku station is one of three stations that Japanese people have named Dungeon stations, in that they are big and maze-like and almost always has somewhere under construction so you’re rerouted constantly. (FYI the other two stations are Tokyo and Osaka-Umeda)
Loved this series! Thank you for sharing your experience. I think it's really important for people who want to go to Japan (but who maybe are a little scared) to see the videos like you made
I went to Japan this past October 2023 and the weather was perfect one day was chilly like 60 rest of the time was in the 70s best vacation ever going back October 2024 with family
Love google translate! You can put a widget on your iPhone home screen so you don’t even have to search through your apps just unlock and start talking it even turns on the microphone to translate automatically
Even with the wages being lower, the Japanese still don't have a tipping culture. Smiling is good, but then Kitra's smile is so sweet. The Tokyo Treat box is awesome. I got my daughter a year subscription for last years Christmas.

Thank you for this! We are currently planning a trip for end of next year so this was very helpful!
Yay have fun
For those with food allergies, you can show them a card that says what allergy you have in Japanese (look online or find someone who can translate for you). They will take it very seriously and try their best to find the exact ingredients in the dish or dishes you want in a printed sheet or screen in English. We were able to do this at theme parks and larger restaurants in major cities.
Good tip
I loved this vlog series. I’m already missing them. Looking forward to your next OA trip to Japan
Glad you like them! We hope to go back in the second half of 2024
I spent 4 days at Tokyo Disneyland in the MiraCosta hotel this spring of 2023. I am glad that you enjoyed too.
Definitely loved it
This is fantastic!! Thank you for sharing all this great information!! ❤
You are so welcome!
Thank you for this video!! I travel a lot and I’ve watched thousands of videos for the last view months, including all of your videos, however planning for our 1st trip to Japan has been the most complicated. This has helped me so much! So excited!!
I'm so glad!
Good tips
Pay for a food tour. It cost around $100 for a 3-4 hour tour per person with an english speaking guide. My group did one in Shinjuku and it was awesome. They will tell you the history of the area and take you to food spots and areas you might be intimidated to goto. Most spots, there was sake and other alcohol included with you’re food if that’s your thing.
Great recommendation! I do this when I first visit a new to me place as it helps orient me a bit regarding food. Booking a food tour the first day in a new place is non negotiable, when it’s available of course.
Good tip
This video was everything I needed to hear! Thank you so much for making it and sharing your experience.
It will be so helpful if I can ever make it to Tokyo!
I'm so glad!
Plus a lot more. lol.
🙌Thank you
Loved this entire series! And thank you for all of the Patreon exclusives!
🙌 thank you for your support
Can I just say THANK YOU sooo much for breaking the cost down! I was trying to explain it would be more fun and cheaper for my family of three to go to Japan than going to Disney world from Tennessee…this is what we are going to do instead
Hope you have a blast
I went to Tokyo pre iPhone. Had to print out 25 page document to figure out everything. It’s so much easier now. Hope you guys go back every year.
I can’t even imagine 😆
I am so excited for the next Japan trip ❤❤
🙌 hopefully next year
I have never travelled outside the continental US in my life and the biggest thing that scares me is the prepping before the trip. Getting travel insurance, making sure your phone is going to work outside the country, booking flights, booking hotels, getting the difference currency. This whole vlog series has shown me some things I dream of doing sometime in my life. Just hope I can get over my fears. Thank you so much for this and all you Japan videos!
It’s honestly not as hard as it sounds. Most of it’s really easy. If we can do it you can do it
I love the idea of saving a table before eating. It sucks walking around with your food when all you want to do is eat. Loved the Tokyo series. Thank you!
It also sucks for someone who waits in line and then has nowhere to sit because they we all been taken with purses and bags on them 😂
You guys have done some really cool adventures and thank you for sharing! Also, I almost have my droid put together!
👍
Thank you for sharing your information.
Very useful information.
Learning so much before we go.
Can't wait for your next adventures.
❤
🙌 lots more coming
Your Japan Chronicles are simply AMAZING!! We have already sent some friends to your RUclips who are going and want to be more knowledgeable! We looked forward to reading each and every one of them as you posted!!!!!
Wow, thank you!
💯
That Suika card tip with the phone is probably the best tip for me. Love all your vlogs, will go back and write everything down. When I lived in Europe I’d write out a cheat sheet while on the train going to the next country (no Euro in 77) money list. When id see a price I’d glance at my conversion chart. Faster than figuring it out all the time. It was an index card written $1, $2, $3 to $10 then $15, $20, 25, $30, $40, $50 etc. I still do that for pounds and euros.
That’s a great tip
THANK YOU so much for this video!! It’s so AWESOME that you share so much with us and Your videos inspired us to plan our trip to Tokyo!! I’ve been taking lots of notes from each video especially this one!
It is a little stressful now knowing how we have to book the Disney hotel but hoping we can do it.
Thank you for always being so great when we see you out and about my youngest Daughter has about 6 photos with you 2 because she never misses a chance. Happy New Year and cheers to more upcoming adventures!
Glad to be able to help ☺️
This was like a podcast episode. Enjoyed it as always! If I ever go, I'll be referring to it. I really really want to try those toilets out!
Thanks David, that was what we were going for
Just booked my trip this morning loving the content 😀
Hope you enjoy it!
As today is Christmas…just want to wish you both a VERY merry Christmas from rainy (and kinda warm!??) Canada and can’t wait for more adventures in the new year!!! ❤
Same to you!
Thanks for the vids... they've been awesome - Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays!
Perfect video! We are planning our first trip to Tokyo and Tokyo Disneyland RIGHT NOW and it couldn't have come at a better time!
Glad it was helpful!
Currently planning a trip & very grateful for this and your travel videos. ❤
Have an amazing trip!
This was so helpful. I was extremely overwhelmed and I feel much better now😊
Glad to help! You can do it!
Excellent video peter & Kitra. Loved watching all the Japan adventures. Walt had sponsorships in Disneyland. It's how he got to do everything extra he wanted and give the best most amazing experiences to guests. ❤
Totally and if you look at Epcot there’s some attractions that still have sponsors and get regular updates
Good tip
Love these videos, hearing from the two of you, your experiences. Thank you
Thank you
We spent 3 weeks in japan for our honeymoon and it still wasn’t enough in our opinion!😂 Going back this year because we fell in love with the country
We want to go back later this year too
@@OrdinaryAdventures so exciting! You can’t miss Kyoto or Osaka this time, both amazing and must sees
WHAT??? How was I not subscribed to your channel???? I've watched so many of your videos...and planning a Tokyo Trip in early March - this is perfect timing!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! You guys are great!
Welcome aboard!
This is such a useful video, as someone who wants to visit Japan and Disneyland within the next few years alone, this helps a BUNCH. I always had anxiety thinking about where to start, so this will be a perfect to use when it comes to planning!
Glad it helps!!
I’ve booked a cruise around Japan and plan to spend time after the cruise at Disney. Watching all your Tokyo videos for tips.
Owwww I’d love to see what a Japanese cruise is like
Love this! I’ve been researching Japan extensively for about a year now and learning the language for 3 months and I’m still soooo behind hahaha
You got this!
Yay I’m so glad you made this video cause I’m going to Tokyo Disney this year so excited but also anxious for the long flight an just new adventures 🤓🤣🩷🫶🏻
Hope you enjoy it!
The tips Might Help Me for My Future Trip and First Overseas Trip to Tokyo Disney Resort and Japan in General. Thanks for Uploading.
👍
That’s awesome
Great video! In 2019 I stayed at one of those “good neighbor hotels” near TDR(I had issue booking actual Disney hotels). I will say at $129/night it was so nice(it was either the Hyatt or the Hilton). The dining was amazing, the staff was friendly, there was a MASSIVE arcade inside the hotel, and a free shuttle that took you to the train loop around the Disney resort.
They did used to also sell park tickets right at the counters in the hotels, but I can’t confirm if those came back after lockdown.
Thanks for sharing!
So awesome, I have to binge watch your trip after Christmas! From what I was able to see, it looks amazing.
😁
Guys, awesome video. This whole series on Japan was great, and this video was *very* helpful. I hope to get to Japan some day, and when we do I will probably come back and rewatch this.
I hope you get to go!
Thank you for making this video. Super informative. Now need to carry on saving so we can visit!
🙌 glad it helped
We are currently planning a trip to Japan in the coming year and all your Japanese videos are amazing. Thank you!
Glad you like them! Have fun
Very encouraging, and much appreciated! I can now picture us going, what a thrill!
🙌
You guys are so awesome. I truly appreciate the validation. If someone has a desire to go to Japan, they can do it and sharing your journey. Plus I'm a total geek for gathering as much research for travel! Looking forward to seeing this video ❤
Thanks so much
Definitely tdr!! I have watched every video in preparation for planning.
Great 👍
Thanks for all the effort you guys put into your videos. You've helped me out a bunch in planning for my trip to Japan, as well as my last trip to California. Merry Christmas!
Our pleasure!
I really enjoyed this whole series. I've been dreaming of Japan for the longest time as well
Make it happen!
That’s a good tip
Merry Christmas! This is incredibly informative, and filled with fantastic tips that can apply to planning any trip.
Hope they help!
Super super helpful!!! Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and tricks!
Glad it was helpful!
Fun fact: Shinjuku station is one of three stations that Japanese people have named Dungeon stations, in that they are big and maze-like and almost always has somewhere under construction so you’re rerouted constantly. (FYI the other two stations are Tokyo and Osaka-Umeda)
Ha that’s funny
横浜駅もそうでした。
Loved this series! Thank you for sharing your experience. I think it's really important for people who want to go to Japan (but who maybe are a little scared) to see the videos like you made
I hope this inspires some people who have always wanted to go but have been overwhelmed in planning.
I went to Japan this past October 2023 and the weather was perfect one day was chilly like 60 rest of the time was in the 70s best vacation ever going back October 2024 with family
Yeah that’s when we went too!
This was so helpful! I’m going in February for the Tokyo marathon and will be going to Disney sea after I run it!
Have so much fun and good luck with the run!
Thank you so much for sharing! My daughter and I are planning a trip in April and I've watched your journey to learn and get excited :)
You are so welcome!
We just booked our flights and toy story hotel! We're so excited! This video is very helpful!
Hope you enjoy it!
Great tips guys! This really helps because it is overwhelming.
Glad it was helpful!
One of the most informative vids I have seen about Japan yet, from a first person's experience. Thank you for sharing. So when is the Japan trip?.
Glad it was helpful!
And we hope to go back later this year
Love google translate! You can put a widget on your iPhone home screen so you don’t even have to search through your apps just unlock and start talking it even turns on the microphone to translate automatically
Oh great tip. Didn’t know that
Even with the wages being lower, the Japanese still don't have a tipping culture. Smiling is good, but then Kitra's smile is so sweet. The Tokyo Treat box is awesome. I got my daughter a year subscription for last years Christmas.
Yeah most Japanese won’t even accept tips.
Going on my 3rd Japan trip this july and I really enjoyed your series
Yay let us know any tips you learn or have learned
