The actress playing Eloise is indeed much older than the one playing Daphne.

Hi! Just found you after finishing watching a reaction for Queen Charlotte. Love how you are so invested in the Simon and Daphne already❤ I will be here with you for the ride, and oh what a ride it's gonna be😍 no spoilers. The Duke's father is such a D..k! Thank god for Lady Danbury who cam along and helped to raise him when his father told all of London and his servants that he was dead. Did you notice at the end when he asked her to call him Simon and Lady Danbury asked him what was wrong with him he "stuttered"? she broke through his walls. He wants no wife or kids because he's scared from his abusive childhood. Can't wait for your reaction to episode 3 as well as the rest of this show. Buckle Up !

Brimsley is loyal and won’t gossip about her but he does gossip about everything else with her. She has the wrong perception of him.

Why do you like to spoil? Why not let people have their own experience with the show and characters?

I'm pretty sure it was clotted cream for the scones and not butter the Queen was feeding the dog 🤔 Fun observation though, I've never noticed that :D

I like your reactions, especially your giddy facial expressions. In your defense, you can't see storylines coming when those storylines are illogical. It's illogical for Berbrook to spread rumors about Daphne being alone with him on the dark walk when a member of the Ton, aka, high society, aka, the Duke of Hastings, was a witness to the truth. Imagine how easy it would be to force beautiful young, girls into marriage if all old men had to do was make up some BS story like Berbrook did. So this storyline was not in the book, and it was added to the TV show to give other characters something to do. By the way, in the book, Eloise was 16 or 17 years old: the same age as Penelope.
