Cutting a hole in our skoolie to install a water heater!

We are finally installing our RecPro water heater! We have been washing, and even showering in cold water for the last 4 months, but that's all about to change, as we cut holes in the side of the bus and install our brand new tankless water heater. But not before we get hit with a full night of thunderstorms...
Once the storm has passed, we wake up to some of the nicest weather we've had during our stay here in Galveston, so we tidy up the bus, and head out to the beach for a long walk, that quickly turns into playing in the water.
After the water heater is installed, you get to see how much work it is to make breakfast for a family of 9, when every person wants their eggs cooked slightly differently! It's always an adventure with the Boyds!

In a small bus, I wonder if the heavy rain and thunder keeps you all awake during the night. Probably not, since y'all were ready to make the most of the lovely day ahead on the beach. The kids enjoyed the water. I thought Jesse would have fallen in by the way he was reacting before going in, but it was Emily and Bethany who stumbled.
Michael installs the water heater from RecPro, and adds in some comedy while doing so, like when he and Sabrina were getting the bus ready back in Canada. I think what makes Sabrina laugh is the way Michael looks at her after she asks something. But the water heater fits in the space and another job well done by the qualified RV Tech, aka Michael Boyd. 😊
The new prime spot for the bus has great view onto the beach, as already seen on a short video on both this channel and Toby's. Like being moved to the best room in a hotel with the best view.
The meal at the end of the video looked yummy. 😋
